Passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre December 25, 2005, Annie Blagdon of Lewin's Cove, formerly of Boxey, in her 82nd year. Predeceased by husband Clarence Blagdon. Leaving to mourn son John of Boxey, daughter Bernice (Aaron Bartlett) of Victoria, B.C., step-sister Ruth Appleby of Burin, step-brothers Clarence Hawse and Fred Hawse, three grandchildren; David, Malcolm and Evelina, plus a large circle of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Cremation took place Tuesday, December 27th. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of White Dove Funeral Homes in Burin.

CLARKE, Thomas
Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre December 5, 2005, Thomas Clarke of Little Bay East in his 59th year. Predeceased by parents Simeon and Edith Clarke; brothers Stanley, Gerald, Sam and Chesley. Left to mourn are his loving wife Lucy; daughters Jackie (husband Charles Hickey) of Terrenceville and Jennifer (husband Adam Baker) of Little Bay East. Also leaving to mourn are sisters Margaret (Larry of Indianapolis) Blanch of Cambridge, Ontario, Doris of Galt, Ontario and Janet of Cambridge, Ontario; brothers Don (Sue) of Cambridge, Ontario and Elias of Terrenceville; nieces, nephews, special aunt Jessie Clarke and other relatives and friends. Reverend Oscar Elms conducted funeral services at Salem United church, little Bay East Wednesday, December 7th with interment at the Salem United Cemetery, Little Bay East. GRAHAM, Jean Marie
Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre December 7, 2005, Jean Marie Graham of Marystown in her 76th year. Predeceased by son Ian, brother Aubrey and Roland and sister Marguerite. Left to mourn her loving husband Thomas Robert; sons Tom Jr. (wife Joyce) of Mount Pearl and Stuart of Halifax; daughters Jo-Anne of Marystown, Judy (husband Paul Seurattan) of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, Andrea of Marystown and Susan (husband Andrew Moulton) of Mount Pearl. Also leaving to mourn are sisters-in-law Gail Pike of Labrador City and Emma Pike of St. John's; brothers Corneilius (Bess) Pike of Paradise, Kev (Em) Pike of St. Lawrence, Gerald Pike of St. Lawrence, Aloysius Pike of Sussex, New Brunswick and Sandy Pike of PEI; six grandchildren, special family friend John Gaulton and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Passed peacefully away at Blue Crest Interfaith Home, Grand Bank, on December 14, 2005, Caroline Grandy of Garnish in her 103rd year. Predeceased by husband Ralph, daughter Mildred, son Ralph, daughter-in-law Mary and granddaughter Shirley Ann. Leaving to mourn sons: Dermett (wife Meta) of Garnish, Lorne of Kitchener, Ont., daughter-in-law Frances of Garnish; 8 grandchildren 8 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Chris Andrews at Garnish United Church on December 16, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment was at United Church Cemetery in Garnish. Donations to her memory may be made to Garnish United Church Cemetery Fund. A special thanks to the staff of Blue Crest Interfaith Home, Grand Bank. Passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, Claude W. Hillier formerly of Lamaline age 54 years. Predeceased by parents George and Lulu Hillier. Leaving to mourn are one sister Sharon (Scott) at Lamaline, eight brothers, Randell (Ernestine) at Toronto, Edgar (Nicole) at Toronto, Freeman (Ethel) at Lamaline, Aubrey at Fortune, Wayne (Lillian), Hubert (Diane), Morgan (Bernadette) all at Lamaline, Barry at British Columbia, 9 nephews, seven nieces, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. James Pollard conducted funeral service on Thursday, December 15th 2 pm from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Lamaline, interment followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Organist was Susie Lovell. Passed peacefully away at his home in Little St. Lawrence December 18, 2005, Terrance Turpin in his 55th year. Predeceased by mother Elizabeth.
