BOLT, Charles M.
(August 5, 1930 - August 12, 2007)

Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care, Burin, on Sunday, August 12, 2007, Charles M. Bolt of Grand Bank, age 77 years. Leaving to mourn wife Mabel, three sons John wife (Phyllis), Aubrey wife (Ruth), Ives wife (Louise), one granddaughter Shenna, five grandsons Robert, Steven, Neil, Barry and David, one great-granddaughter Zoe, brother Manuel wife Evelyn, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Majors Frank and Rita Pittman from Warren's Funeral home on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007 at 2 p.m., music provided by Herbert Dunford. Cremation to follow. Donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.

CLARKE, Phyllis Mary
Passed suddenly away Thursday, August 2, 2007, Phyllis Mary Clarke of Marystown, formerly of Terrenceville, in her 56th year. Predeceased by mother Bertha and sister Violet. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband Gordon; sons Dana (Adrienne) of Marystown, Mario (Chrystal) of Marystown and Vincent (Erin) of Brooks, AB; daughters Jeanna of Harbour Breton, Renessa of St. John's and Rosalind (Clarence) House of Marystown; sister Theresa-Ann (Clarence) Evans of English Harbour West; brothers Bobby (Marie) Clarke, Morgan (Marilyn) Clarke, Howard Clarke, Jamie (Colleen) Clarke, and John Joe (Judy) Clarke, nine grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral Mass took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown Monday, August 6 at 4:00 p.m. Cremation followed. Passed suddenly away at Corner Brook on August 17, 2007 Dale Dyck of Mission, British Columbia in his 51st year. Leaving to mourn parents David and Myrna; ex-wife Sheila; son Clayton of Hinton, Alberta; daughter Megan (Jason Savoury) of St. John's; grandchildren Tanner and Jayden; brother Bruce Dyck and wife Nona of Victoria, British Columbia plus a large circle of other family and friends. Passed suddenly away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre Sunday, August 12, 2007, Emma Edwards of Lawn in her 84th year. Predeceased by husband Thomas and son Clarence. EDWARDS; Robert J
Passed peacefully away at the U.S. Memorial Health Care St. Lawrence on August 22, 2007, Robert J. Edwards of Lord's Cove, age 69 years. Leaving to mourn: wife Emma, stepsons, Don Tarrant (Ann), Martin Clarke, stepdaughter Geraldine Clarke, sisters-in-law Josephine Fitzpatrick, Bridget Ann Edwards, brother-in-law John Manning, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, six brothers Morris, Allen, Harry, Aubrey, Eric and Leslie; four sisters Margaret Mcdonald, Annie Murray, Sheila Slaney and Mary King. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass was conducted by Father Regis Kamela from St. Elizabeth's Church Lord's Cove on Saturday, August 25th at 2 pm. Interment followed at St. Elizabeth's Cemetery, Lord's Cove. Music was provided by St. Elizabeth's Choir, William Harnett, Don Tarrant and members of the Tarrant family. Pallbearers were: Martin Clarke, Robby Edwards, Joe Fitzpatrick, Russ Murphy, George King and Samuel Slaney. Cross Bearer was Eric Edwards. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Elizabeth's Church, Lord's Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank; "Where Dedicated People Care."

HERLIDAN, Rene M
(November 28, 1947 - August 2, 2007)

Passed peacefully away at the U.S. memorial Health Care Centre, St. Lawrence on August 2, 2007, Rene M. Herlidan of Lord's Cove in his 59th year. Predeceased by father Rene: mother Josephine; sister Catherine and brother John. Leaving to mourn wife, Rita; son, Christopher; daughter, Loni and three sisters, Lena, Joan and Marie. Funeral Mass was conducted by Father Charles Goakery from St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic church Lord's Cove at 10:390 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2007. Interment followed at St. Elizabeth's Cemetery, Lord's Cove. Music was provided by St. Thomas Aquinas Choir, Junior Herridge and Frank Brinston. Pallbearers were: Rich Hennebury, Bob Hennebury, Earl Hennebury, Michael Slaney, Isaac Slaney, Kevin Collins, George King and Steve King; Cross Bearer was Willie Harnett. Honourary Pallbearers were Cyril Dillon and Max King. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank; "Where Dedicated People Care."

HODDER, David
(November 26, 1958 - August 28, 2007)

Passed suddenly away in Dawson Creek, BC on August 28, 2007, David Hodder of St. Lawrence, NL in his 48th year. Leaving to mourn brothers Gus of Dawson Creek, BC., Ren and wife Chris of Brampton, Ontario, Glen and wife Jean of Burin and Gary and wife Debbie of St. Lawrence; nephews Dexter Hodder and Stephen Hodder; nieces Tracey Hodder, Debbie Hodder, Stephanie Hodder and Genna Hodder plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by father Lester and mother Eileen. Predeceased by parents Eli and Elizabeth, three brothers, Norman, Reginald and Bertram, sister Gertie Strickland, brother-in-law Harold Strickland, sister-in-law, Myrtle Strickland, leaving to mourn wife Laura in Grand Bank, daughter Shirley (partner) Cyril, Grand Bank, son Baxter in Grand Bank, six grandchildren, Rhonda Strickland, April Strickland, Corrina Greene, Jerry Strickland, Andrew Roberts, Robbie Strickland, 12 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Janelle, Juliana, Jonathan, Owen, Destiny, Sierrah, Dylan, Bryce, Brianna, Brooke and Brianna, sister-in-law Lena Strickland and Eileen Strickland also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Michael Li from Saint Alban's Anglican Church, Grand Bank on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment in Saint Alban's Anglican Cemetery, Grand Bank. Pallbearers were Jerry Strickland, Andrew Roberts, Calvin Harris, Guy Rose, Albert Rose, Keith Hanham, Baxter Strickland. organist was Karen Li.
