Passed peacefully away at her home in Green's Harbour on Tuesday,
April 24, 2007, in the presence of her loving family, after
a brief and courageous battle with cancer, Hattie Reid,
age 80 years. Predeceased by husband Elwood (1967); parents: Joshua and
Elizabeth Plank, brother Tom Plank, Port Au Bras, father in law and mother
in law George and Violet Reid, brothers-in-law: Reg Reid, Dave Harnum,
Jim Reid and Lew Reid. leaving to mourn five children: Doreen (George
Piercey), Elaine (Lee Piercey), Ted (Evelyn), Sylvia (Wayne Edison),
and Thelma. Seven grandchildren: Michael (Tina Walsh), Matthew (Deirdre
Wilcocks), Melissa, Mila, Ted, Adam and Jennifer. One precious great-granddaughter
Keeley, one brother Jim Plank, brother in law Harvey (Sadie) Reid. Also
lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law: Lillian Reid, Nita Harnum, Margaret
Reid, Benita Reid and Aunt Maisie Woodman. Friends Caleb and Rub Howell
