PIKE, David Wayne - Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, P.E.I., on Saturday, April 28, 2012, with loved ones by his side, of David Pike, age 61 years. Formerly of Port aux Basques, Newfoundland. Beloved fiance of Martha Mallet, much loved by Martha's son Joseph. Survived by his loving brothers: Earl, Henry, Leonard and special nephew Ernest; loving sisters: Rowena Blake (nee Pike), Florence Naborn (nee Pike), Kathleen Ayres (nee Pike); and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his loving mother, Harriett Pike (nee Chant) and father, Martin Henry Pike; brothers: Austin, Junior, Clifford, Arthur, William, Ernest; and sister: Ivy Payne (nee Pike). Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Thursday afternoon at the Dingwell Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Interment in St. George's Cemetery, St. Georges, P.E.I. YOUNG, Hector Junior
At the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 of Hector Junior Young of Pleasant Valley, aged 35 years. Born in Sheaves Cove, Newfoundland, May 21, 1976, son of Hector and Geraldine (Rowe) Young. Husband of Katie (MacLennan) Young. Brother of Anthony (Janet) Young, Mary Young (Bernie Campbell), Ruth Jesso (Bernie LeCour), Harold Young, Leo Young, Valerie Young (Jason Hall) and Melissa Young (Tommy Skinner). Son-in-law of Robert and Betty (Gamester) MacLennan. Brother-in-law of Kent (Lisa) MacLennan, Kelly MacLennan, Karen MacLennan (Ivan Walsh), and Kevin MacLennan (deceased). Uncle of Hannah, Tiffany, Kimberly, Morgan, Zack, Chloe and Gerald Young, Kathy and Josh Jesso, Colbey, Courtney, Casey, Ryan, Sawyer and Johnny MacLennan, Chad and Kyle Curtis. Grandson-in-law of Johnny and Alice Gamester. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. If so desired, contributions may be made to the P.E.I.
