The following obituary appeared in the December 28, 2005 isse of The Guardian, published at Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Mr. Fontaine is a former resident of the Northern Peninsula (St. Anthony Area) FONTAINE, Wilfred E. - At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, December 26, 2005, of Wilfred E. Fontaine of Charlottetown, age 72. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Crowley). Dear father of Colleen Muttart (Garry). Edward (Crystal). Christina Fontaine (Kim MacCormack) and Denise McQuade (Patrick). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren. Braden. Hope, Dallas, Denver, Brett, Meghan, Natalie and Ryan. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Friday at 9:45, then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Charlottetown. Visitation Thursday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Due to allergies, please refrain from wearing scents.
