Peacefully, with family by her side on Sunday, September 30, 2018 in her 64th year. Kathleen, loving wife of Kerry D'Arcy. Loving mother of Jason Craig and his wife Nicole, Dennis Craig and his wife Vicky, Lesley Craig and her partner Ryan Schell, Kevin D'Arcy and his wife Cheryl, Sean D'Arcy and his wife Sue, and Sherri D'Arcy and her partner Derrick Binder. Proud Nan of Madelynn, Mya, Brady, Reese, Jessica, Jordan, Mackenzie, Ben, Megan, and Owen. Dear sister of Wally Haines, Shirley and her husband Doug Ash, Austin Clouter and his wife Madonna, Theresa Clouter, and Terry Clouter and his wife Denise. Kathleen will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends were received on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 4th, 2018 at 11:00am at the Port Elgin United Church, 840 Bruce Street. Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, September 6, 2018, Robert Lee of Clarenville, formerly of Grand Bank, aged 69 years. Predeceased by parents Morgan and Mary; brothers-in-law Samuel Prior, Arthur Dicker and Martin Ford. Left with fond and loving memories his children Michael (Kelly) and Angela (Darren); grandchildren Haylie, Heidi, Ethan, Myah, Cooper and Kasey; sisters Dorothy, Mildred, Alfreda (Cecil) and Elizabeth; brother Gordon (Marilyn); and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Fewer's Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank. In his memory donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House, St. John's.

It is with deep sadness that Fabian (Delia) and Joseph (Tammy) Soper announce the passing of their Father Stephen Maxwell Soper. Leaving to mourn 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren. Sister Daphne Stacey, niece Crystal (Peter) Russell and families: as well as the Stringer family. Predeceased by parents Cleophus and Mediam Soper, sisters Phyllis (Nathaniel) Pond and Susannah (Joseph) Reid and special friend Elizabeth Stringer. There will be a celebration of Stephen's life at Fabian's house located on the Point in Little Heart's Ease on Friday September 28th at 6:30 pm. The family would like to extend an open invitation to friends and family to take a stroll through his old memories. Committal will take place on September 29th, 2018 at 2 pm in the United Church Cemetery on the Point in Little Heart's Ease where we will fulfill his request to be buried with his Mother.

It is with saddened hearts we said goodbye to our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Nettie McKinnon Strong, at 97 years old, passed peacefully away at O'Mahoney Manor on September 22, 2018, and was laid to rest on September 25, 2018 at Clarenville United Church. Predeceased by husband, Richard, daughter-in-law, Karen, brothers, Jimmy, John, Monroe, Donald, George, and sister, Edna Stanley. Leaving to mourn, sister, Mima (Lee) Pauley, Montreal, daughter, Janet (Bob) Strong, sons, Dennis (Ivy), Austin, 10 grandchildren: Lisa (Randy) Short, Stacey (Jeff Dalton), Brandi (Bradley) Marsh, Jason, Kim (Bill Bradbury), Debbie (Junior) Howse, Paul, Heather (Dwayne) Dawe, Nancy (Todd) Noseworthy, Stephen, 16 great grandchildren: Makayla, Mitchell, Jordan, Erica, Madison, Stephen, Noah, Tyler, Nikita, Tia, Nicholas, Jenna, Katie, Evan, Jacob and Alex, sisters-in-law, Sarah and Margaret Greening. We would like to extend our thanks to staff of O'Mahoney Manor, Fewer's, Reverend Mercer, Marie Linthorne, U.C.W. and choir, and all who sent flowers, food, and donations to the United Church. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you for making her "Celebration of Life" a memorable one for all.
