HOLLOWAY, Eunice - Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, August 30, 2009, Eunice Holloway of Bloomfield, aged 80 years. Predeceased by her husband Caleb. Left with fond and loving memories are daughters Joan (Lome) of Bloomfield, Myra (Wallace) of Bloomfield and Marlene (Ian) of St. John's; son Albion of Shoal Harbour, Cramwell (Valerie), Bloomfield and Wayne (Anne-Marie) of Lethbridge; six grandchildren, Tammy, Catherine, Scott, Shawn, Jennifer and Stacey; three greatgrandchildren, Nathan, Aidyn and Trinity and a large number of relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Funeral service took place on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 from the Salvation Army Citadel, Musgravetown with interment at the old Salvation Army Cemetery, Musgravetown. In her memory donations may be made to the Clarenville Area S.P.C.A. or the Small Animal Rescue Fund.

Predeceased by his parents, Curtis and Wilma (Marsh) Kelly. Leaving to mourn with many fond memories are his wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Pauline (Desmond Crocker), Patsy (Ronnie Smith), Pamela (Clifford Pelley), Paulette (Michael Antle); grandchildren, Krista Balsom, Joshua Balsom, Nathan Smith, Nicholas Pelley, Johnathen Kelly, Kyle Smith, Owen Pelley, Tyler Kelly and Allison Kelly; brothers, Norman (Mae), Ross (Wanda), Scott (Debbie), Melvin (Loretta); sisters, Margaret (Len Symington), Glenys (Sherman Stanley), Mary (Walter Ellis), Evelyn (Gary Bath), Jean (George Bailey) , Dulcie (Matthew Walker); mother-in-law, Doreen Marsh; uncle, Selvy Kelly, aunt, Inez Marsh;brothers-in-law, Don, Brian; sisters-in-law, Audrey, Carol, Brenda, Lynn and many other relatives and friends. Rested at Vardy's Funeral Home, Hickman's Harbour. I Funeral service, officiated by Rev. ALONZO CHARLES JAMES ADEY

Passed peacefully away at the Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista, Alonzo Charles James Adey of Clarenville in his 81st year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his brothers Eric and his wife Ruby, Raymond and his wife Rose; sister Minnie Robbins and husband Eliab; four nieces and 11 nephews; Plus a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by parents Fredrick and Emily. Memorial service was officiated by Rev. A. HAMPTON, Harvey Maxwell - Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, August 24, 2009, Harvey Maxwell Hampton of Jamestown, aged 93 years. Predeceased by wife; Leah. Left with fond and loving memories his children: Norman (Mary), Portland, Harvey (Elva), Brampton, ON and Ethel Young, Etioboke, ON; sisters: Hazel Butt, Alice Muggridge, Myrtle Hampton and Phyllis Little; brother, Clifford Hampton; grandchildren: Natasha, Rick, Candace, Stephen and Jonathan; great-grandchildren: Sabastian, Jeremy, Tyler, Ryene and Cole and a large circle of family and friends. GREENING, Harriett Marie - Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Thursday, September 3, 2009, Marie Greening of Port Blandford, aged 78 years. Predeceased by husband Malcolm. Left with fond and loving memories her sister Alrita Dunphy (Joseph); nieces Donna Scott (Charles), Darlene Skinner (Douglas), Deanne Pittman (Scott); nephew Derek Dunphy (Lisa); four great-nieces; two great-nephews along with other relatives and friends. Rested at Alton United Church, Port Blandford. Funeral service took place on Saturday, September 5, 2009 from Alton United Church, Port Blandford with interment at United Cemetery, Port Blandford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic, St. John's.

Left with fond and loving memories his wife Mildred (Pretty) of 60 years; daughter Glenda Ralph (Rex), Winter Brook and Gloria Skiffington (Edgar), Musgravetown; son Boyd Reader (Shirley), Lethbridge; sisters Elva Cave Greening, Clarenville Retirement Center and Faith House, St. John's; brother-in-law Leslie Pretty, Dildo; grandchildren Lorrie Ann, Denise (Paul), Brian (Trina), Kimberly (Reginald), Krista (David) and Blair (Barbara Ann); 10 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Lethbridge. LETHBRIDGE, Myrtle - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Saturday, September 5, 2009, Myrtle Lethbridge of Lethbridge, aged 85 years. Predeceased by brother, Ches and brother-in-law, Fred. Left with fond and loving memories her husband, Moses; sons, Wilfred (Myra) and Bob (Heather); sisters, Blanche and Marie (Carl); brothers, Fred (Jean) and Carson (Rowena); sister-in-law, Beulah; grandchildren, Damian (Melanie), Danielle (Marc), Joshua, Amy and Becky and a large number of relatives and friends. SKIFFINGTON, ALLISTON - Passed peacefully away surrounded by loving family and friend Anna Oakley on Monday, September 14, 2009 at St. Claire's Mercy Hospital, Alliston Skiffington of Musgravetown, age 57 years. Predeceased by her Mom and Dad, Amy and Otto Skiffington; three brothers, Boyd, Don and Doug; brother-in-law Gus Clarke; sister-in-law, Ann Skiffington. Leaving to mourn her daughter, Pamela Hawco; six sisters, Amelia Cook (Dave), Bernice Clarke (Gus), Dora Tulk (Beaton), Dorothy Holloway (Boyce), Leona Humby (Harvey), Sandra Downey (Skip); sister-in-law, Phyllis Skiffington of Sudbury, Ontario. Special friends Anna Oakley and Alan Crotty, large number of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and a large circle of friends. She will be sadly missed by all. Memorial service to be announced at a later date.

SIMMONDS: Passed peacefully away at her residence, (Daisy Hobb's Personal Care Home), Bunyan's Cove, on September 17, 2009, Rosie May Simmonds, age 92, from Canning's Cove. Predeceased by parents, Edward and Sarah; husband, Albert John; daughter, Stella; son-in-law, Oliver; brother, Raymond; sister, Ella; grandchildren, Kim, Darryl and Baby Hobbs. Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories are her children, Melvin (Betty), Ella (Winston), Alma (Lewis), Hubert (Pauline); 12 grandchildren; large number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three brothers and other relatives and friends. Rested at St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Canning's Cove from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Jessie Broaders, took place on Monday, September 21, 2009 with interment following.
