Passed away suddenly at his residence in Ivany's Cove on Monday September 22, 2014, Chris Miller, formerly of Old Bonaventure, aged 29 years. Left with fond and loving memories his daughter Paige Miller and son Jayden Miller of Musgravetown; their mother Melissa Chatman of Musgravetown; mother and father Minnie & Toby Miller of Old Bonaventure; grandmother Lucy Miller, Clarenville; sister Wendy Miller (Tyson Little), Bloomfield and Tiffany Keats (Shannon), North West Brook; nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at the Anglican Church, New Bonaventure. Funeral service took place on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Anglican Church, New Bonaventure with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Old Bonaventure.

Maxine Penney
Passed on: September 20th, 2014

Passed away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Saturday, September 20, 2014, Maxine Penney of Come By Chance, aged 46 years. Predeceased by her father Leeland Boutcher; nephew and godson Mark Hodder; brother-in-law Dale Penney and mother-in-law June Penney. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Glenn of 23 years; daughter Courtney; son Cody; mother Pearl Boutcher; sisters Ivy (Joe Hodder), Karen (Lloyd Hodder), Audrey (Terry Oake), all of Come By Chance and Berdina of Whitby, ON; brothers Gerald Boutcher (Maxine), Corner Brook, David Boutcher (Jeanette), Toronto, ON, Calvin Boutcher (Melvie), Come By Chance and Randy Boutcher (Cindy), St. John's; father-in-law Ernest Penney; and a large circle of family and friends. Memorial Service took place on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Anglican/United Church, Come By Chance.

Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, October 2, 2014, Hilda Vera Stacey of Swift Current, aged 95 years. Predeceased by her 1st husband James Harold Reid, 2nd husband Clayton Stacey; daughter Hazel; brother Cyril Hubert and sisters Susie and Viola. Left with fond and loving memories her children Glenis (Eugene) and Freida; son-in-law Eldred Howell (Myra); step-children Eileen, Ina, Jerry and Ira; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at the Pentecostal Church, Swift Current. Funeral service took place on Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Pentecostal Church, Swift Current with interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Swift Current. In her memory donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.

Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, September 29, 2014, Reginald Yetman of Lethbridge, aged 91 years. He is predeceased by his wife Elsie. Left with fond and loving memories his children Ruby Penney (Wayne) and Judy Fudge (Russell), both of Lethbridge; grandson Deon (Wendy); great granddaughter Lexie; sister Hilda Prince of Ontario; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Funeral service took place on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Fewer's Funeral Home, Lethbridge with interment at the United Cemetery, Charleston.

The family of the late Jessie Pearl Baker, age 79, gives thanks for life after her passing on Monday, October 13, 2014. She is celebrated by her children, Granville (Janet) and Lloyd (Patricia); grandchildren, Dana Warren (Jamie), Shelley Butt (Dana), Justin Baker (Shelley); great grandchildren, Noelle Warren, Heidi Warren, Baillie Butt, Stacie Butt, Jesse Smith and Emily Baker; sisters, Mildred Avery (Donald-deceased) and Marie Holloway (Winston); brother, Harvey Price (June) and brother-in-law, Winston Green; best friend, Alma Loder and many other family and friends. We have faith that pearl is resting in peace; Joining her parents, William and Gladys Price (nee Meadus), husband, Allan and sister Janie Green. Rested at the Grace United Church, Hillview from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Gneid Walsh, took place on Friday, October 17, 2014. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Clement of 51 years; children Lemont (Veronica), Terrence (Gloria), Coreena (Eric) and Yvette (Derek); grandchildren Vanessa, Coreena, Desmond, Maggie, Colin, Jennifer, Blaine, Donnie and Jimmy ; six special great grandchildren; sister Lavenia Green; brother George Smith (Angela); and a large circle of family and friends.
