Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013 in her 67th year. Predeceased by: parents Walter and Sophie Duffett, nephew Robert Martin, nephew Wayne Strickland, and Wayne's wife Yvonne. Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories are her daughter Susan; sisters: Elsie Leawood (John), Diane Strickland (Jim), Rebecca George (Earl), Cynthia Simmons (Clyde), Eva Martin (William), and Judy Parrott (Vernon); brother Wayne Duffett (Dianne); a large group of nieces and nephews; and a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by husband George; granddaughter Terri-Lynn; great grandson Nathan; son-in-law Tony Vincent; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Left with fond and loving memories her children Wayne (Peggy), Gail (Wilf), Terry (Anne), June (Diane), Carol (Andy), Murray (Verlie), Jill (Shawn), Robin (Philomena), Michelle (Wayne) and Deanne (Rex); 26 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Doreen; sisters Eva, Maxine and Rose (Ray); brother Bill; sisters-in-law Myrtis, Phyllis and Sylvia; and a large circle of family and friends. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving wife of 67 years Daisy; sons: Leander (Yvonne) of Canning's Cove, Leonard Russell (Debbie) of Lethbridge, Larry (Marilyn) of Botwood, Levern (Annie) of George's Brook, Lyman (Kim) of Canning's Cove, Lyndon (Phyllis) of Stoney Creek, ON; daughters: Lorraine Hampton (Lyman) of Canning's Cove, Laura Chatman of St. John's; 14 grand-children; 12 great grand-children, 3 great great grand-children; brothers Ralph Chatman and Rance Chatman plus a large circle of other family and friends.
