Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre, St. John's on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, Marina Quinton of Summerville, aged 72 years. Predeceased by her husband Wilfred; son Stephen; daughter-in-law Darlene. Left with fond and loving memories her children Uriah (Debbie), Labrador City, Betty, Mount Pearl, Sandra (Gary), Summerville and Lyndon (Dianne), Paradise; daughter-in-law Shena; grandchildren Janine, Morgan and Jordan Quinton and Matthew Blundon; great granddaughter Aliyah Russell and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at United Church, Summerville. Funeral service took place on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from United Church, Summerville with interment at United Cemetery, Summerville. In her memory donations may be made to United Church, Summerville.

Ella Tilley
Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Albert O'Mahony Manor, Clarenville on Sunday, October 31, 2010 Ella Tilley of Clarenville aged 91 years. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Sybil; sister Jennie Lethbridge and brother Ron. Left with fond and loving memories are her nephew Francis (Donna) Parsons; three great nephew and nieces, Paula, Todd, Tammy and a circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Salvation Army Citadel, Clarenville. Funeral service was held Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarenville with interment at the Pleasant Street Cemetery, Clarenville. In her memory donations may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarenville.

Pearce Osmond
Passed peacefully away at his home in Canning's Cove on Saturday, October 30, 2010, Pearce Osmond, aged 65 years. Predeceased by brothers: Walter and Earl; sister Betty Blackmore. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Joyce of 44 years; sons: James and Jason (Trina); four grandchildren: Kelsey, Taylor, Jared, Kendra and his best buddy Benji; sisters: Geraldine Anderson (Jack), Hilda Seymore (Phillip); brother Carl (Donna); sisters-in-law: Dorothy and Donna Osmond and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Canning's Cove. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2010, from St. John The Divine Anglican Church, Canning's Cove with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Canning's Cove.

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Friday November 12, 2010 Marie Wiseman aged 80 years of Bloomfield. Predeceased by husband Neville; two sons Calvin and Joseph; brothers Calvin and Robert Drover. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughters Louise (Ivan), Kay (Gar), Velma (Frank), Daughters in law Betty and Ella; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sisters Margery (Norman), Betty (Fred) and a large circle of family and friends. Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, Fred Lane of Portland, aged 90 years. Passed peacefully away after a lenghtly battle with cancer, Patrick John Goldsworthy, age 26, from Trinity, at the Health Science Complex, St. John's, on November 3, 2010. Predeceased by grandfathers, Gilbert Hiscock and Calvert Goldsworthy. Leaving to mourn with many precious and loving memories are his parents, John & Felicity and sister, Kayla; grandmothers, Ester Goldsworthy and Sylvia Hiscock; godchild, Sheridan Clarke; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other special friends. Passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista, November 18, 2010, Elaine (Ryder) Abbott, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband Roy Abbott, parents Donald and Caroline Ryder, sister Margaret Javis and brother Oscar Ryder. Leaving to mourn one brother Eugene (wife Jessie, sister-in law and special friend of Elaine), special niece Myrnia Carlson (California), as well as other nieces and nephews. Burial has taken place Nov. 20.

Eliol Francis Toope
Passed peacefully away in the presence of his son and daughter-in-law on November 16, 2010, Eliol Francis Toope, age 88, from Trinity. Predeceased by wife, Meta; parents, Sara Vatcher and Rufus Toope; brother, Clarence; sisters, Alfreda Wiseman & Marjorie Vatcher. Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Thursday, November 18, 2010, Bridget Keough of Plate Cove East, aged 70 years. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Felix of 45 years; daughter Rhonda (Glen O'Driscoll); son Felix (Jill); grandchildren Lauren and Stephanie O'Driscoll; sisters Mary (Frank Shannahan), Rose (Edgar Branton) and Kay (John Joyce); brothers Walter Hanlon (Sylvia), Colin Hanlon (Winnie) and Barry Hanlon; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Passed peacefully away on November 14th at the Health Sciences Centre, after a brief illness, Norman Rodway of Arnold's Cove (formerly of Kingwell, Placentia Bay), aged 74 years. Predeceased by his parents Cleverly and Marion (nee Slade) Rodway, sister Hilda Ingram, and son-in-law John Ferrier. Leaving to mourn with precious memories: his loving wife, Edith; daughters, Rhonda (Louis) Peikos , Sarah Ferrier, Tracy (Howard) Frellick, their mother Mae, Candice (Elvis) Cramm, Janet (Chris Wilkes) Slade; grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel and Olivia Peikos, Nicole and Jonathan Ferrier, Joshua and Carli Frellick, Veronica Cramm, Jaylen and Lynkon Wilkes and Dakota Defoe, great-grandchild, Carter Peikos, sisters, Nina (Fergus) Marshall and Ruby (Wilson) Slade, Brother-in-law, Freeman Ingram, Aunts, Elizabeth Peach, Maude Rodway, Linda Rodway and Tillie Slade. , of Hillview peacefully passed away in her home on 14 November 2010. Aged 77 years. Juanita was predeceased by parents Richard and Mae Loder, husband Ben, two sons Graham and Ricky and 9 brothers and sisters. Left to mourn are her sons Wade (Theresa) and Barry (Bonita), daughters Sylvia (Winston Brown), Madonna (Randy Gosse), Denise (Edgar Brown), Thelma (Scott Ivany), Lucy (Scott Hunsley) and Wanda (Paul Njolstad). Also left with fond memories are her five brothers Eli (Flo), Hedley (Lillian), Eugene (Priscilla), Gordon (Alma), Eric (Bernice) and sister-in-law Lillian. Grandchildren, Scott Critch, Michael Critch (Laura), Jody Brown (Corrie), Chandra Njolstad, Kody Nlolstad, Kara Ivany, Matthew Critch and Miranda Ivany; extended grandchildren Steven, Melissa and Danielle Gosse; CJ, Meaghan and Alexis Middleton.
