HUSSEY, Daphne - Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, Daphne Hussey of North Harbour, aged 64 years. Predeceased by her parents, Eileen and Gerald Miller; brother, Gerald and grandson, Nathan. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband, George of 43 years; son, Garry (Sharon), North Harbour; granddaughter, Charmaine; grandson, Jonathon Price, St. John's; sister, Cynthia Casey, St. John's; brothers, Wayne (Debbie), Gary (Joanne), Ross (Sharon) and Winston, all of St. John's; brother-in-law, Ross (Donna) Hussey; sister-in-law, Bonnie (Wayne) Brinston, both of North Harbour and a large number of relatives and friends. Rested at United Church, North Harbour. Funeral service held on Thursday, October 30, 2008 from United Church, North Harbour with interment at United Cemetery, North Harbour. In her memory donations may be made to Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville.

GORDON, Maxwell - Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Tuesday, November 4, 2008, Maxwell Gordon of Harcourt, aged 72 years. Predeceased by sister, Martha Thorns; stepsister, Myrtle Wall and brother-in-law, Morley Stone. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Yvonne of 48 years; daughter, Carole Decker (Rex), Clarenville; grandsons, Grant and Andrew Decker; brothers, Pierce Andrews (Shirley) and George Andrews (Ella), both of La Scie; sisters-in-law, Cavelle Goodyear, Shoal Harbour, Ann Stanley, Clarenville and Una Stone, Monroe and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held on Friday, November 7, 2008 at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville.

MARSH: Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on October 28, 2008, Beatrice Florence Marsh, age 82, from Hickman's Harbour. Predeceased by her parents, Cyril and Mary Williams; brother, Reg and husband, Allan Marsh. Leaving to mourn, Lorraine (Ralph), Reg (Audrey), Cyril (Daphne), Kevin (Debbie), Jerry (Judy) and Yvonne (Willis); 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Vardy's Funeral Home, Hickman's Harbour. Funeral service, officiated by Captains David and Melanie Rideout, took place on October 30, 2008, from the Salvation Army, Hickman's Harbour with interment following. FAMILY CARING FOR FAMILY

MILTON EDGAR TUCKER
January 16, 1928 - November 4, 2008
Passed away suddenly at his home in Brooklyn on November 4, 2008 following a long illness, Milton Edgar Tucker aged 80 years. Predeceased by brothers: George, Everett, Jim, Bruce and sister Eileen. Leaving to mourn: his loving wife Lori; sons: Jim and John; daughter Gail; residing in White Rock, BC. four grandchildren: Sarah and Michael Fraser; Zoe and (Pippa) Tucker; devoted sister Marjorie Andrews of White Rock, BC sisters-in-law: Shirley Tucker of Portugal Cove, Sylvie Boucher (Alain) of St. Colomban, QC, brother-in-law Bill Lindsay of Paradise; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service was officiated by the Rev. Isaac Hutchings from St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Brooklyn on Friday November 7, 2008 with interment following at St. Andrew's Anglican Cemetery, Brooklyn. Pallbearers were: Douglas Ash, Jake Barbour, Michael Bailey, Bond Keats, Warren Keats, and Patrick Whalen. organist: Betty Benger. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Edna of 62 years; daughters, Yvonne Eveland (Ted) and Greta Taverner (Ed); sons, Terry (Colleen) and Dennis (Gwen); sister, Shirley Hawco; sister-in-law, Kessie Holloway; brother-in-law, Herman (Rodena); 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Funeral service held on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 from United Church, Lethbridge with interment at United Cemetery, Lethbridge.

BAILEY, Elizabeth - Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Friday, November 14, 2008, Elizabeth Bailey of George's Brook, aged 90 years. Predeceased by husband George, son-in-law Rev. Edward Bailey; daughter-in-law Roma Bailey, brother William Stanley; sister-in-law Lucy Stanley and brother-in-law George Ellis. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Geneva Norris (Stanley); son Hughie Bailey (Joyce); sister Daisy Ellis; brother Eldred Stanley (Nellie); seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Monday, November 17, 2008 from Milton-George's Brook United Church with interment at Milton-George's Brook Cemetery.

FENNELL, Anne Josephine (Jose) passed peacefully away, surrounded by loving members of her family, at the Bonavista Health Care Complex, Bonavista on November 5, 2008 at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by her husband William in 2005. She is survived by her children: Leonard (Greta), Plate Cove West, Thomas (Jeanette), Plate Cove West, Anthony (Juanita) Whitecourt, AB, Mary (Brian) Felkar, Gander, Eileen (Martin) Ducey, St John's, Dorothy Newman (Paul Beiderman) Clarenville, John (Heather) Sorrento, BC, Aidan (Kaye) Whitecourt, AB, Richard (Anita) Whitecourt, AB, Jeanette (Willem) van Seters, Hoek van Holland, The Netherlands, Theresa (Max) Prince. 28 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Bridget Deveraux, Duntara and sisters-in-law: Mabel Fennell and Rose Philpott, Plate Cove West and Margaret Fennell, Brooklyn, N.Y. Six nephews and three special nieces in Newfoundland and 15 nieces and nephews in the USA, including special niece, Shirley Fennell of Staten Island. N.Y. Funeral Service with Mass took place at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Place Cove West on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at the R.C. Cemetary, Plate Cove East. Passed peacefully away at the G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital on Saturday November 15, 2008 Frank Hynes of Hickman's Harbour (formerly of Terrenceville) in his 81st year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his brothers, Joseph and his wife, Theresa and George both of lerrenceville, plus a large circle of family and friends. Funeral service was officiated by Father T. O'Connor from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Terrenceville on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 with interment following at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery.
