Passed suddenly away at his residence in Fort McMurray on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, D. Jordan Perry of Clarenville, aged 26 years. Predeceased by his grandfather Bertram King and Uncle Wilfred Perry. Left with fond and loving memories are his parents; Guy and Donna Perry of Clarenville; partner of 9 years Candace Skiffington; precious grandson of Rebecca King of Clarenville and Earle and Joyce Perry of Bloomfield; sisters Holly Perry (Gar Wiseman) of Red Deer, Alberta, Robyn Perry (Andrew Thomas) of Clarenville and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral Service took place on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at the Interdenominational Cemetery, Clarenville. In his memory, donations may be made to St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Fewer's Funeral Home.

. Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Saturday, May 7, 2016 surrounded by her family, Bridgett Dunne-Short of Clarenville, aged 68 years. Predeceased by her parents James (Jim) Keough of Plate Cove East and Marie Keough (nee Kearney) of Croque; parents in law, Thomas & Mary Dunne; parents in law Joshua & Mildred Short. Left to Celebrate her life, her loving husband and best friend Douglas Short and the father of her children Tom (Sharon) Dunne and her children Olivia (Donny) Neil of Clarenville; Tommy (Jodie) Dunne of Clarenville; step son Adam (Stephanie) Parsons of Bermuda; two grandchildren, grandson (Thomas) Liam, granddaughter Mackenzie Maria; Sisters Whanita (Alvin) Hubley of Sackville, NS, Sharon (Rex) Ivany of Plate Cove East, Ann Marie (Terry) Allen of Corner Brook, Estella (late Bob) Prince of Bedford, NS, Evangeline (late Edward) Lane of Catalina, Margaret (late Gar) Pynn of Middle Cove, Kay (late Gerald) McLaughin of St. John's; bothers Michael (Maude) Keough of Labrador City, Frank (Joanne) Keough of Plate Cove East, sisters in law Joan (Owen) Jacobs, Florence (Merlin) Stanley, Diane (Gary) Dwyer; brothers in law late Ashton (Donna) Short, Lloyd (Gloria) Short, Bond (Gladys) Short, Wayne (Kate) Short, Rod (Collette) Short as well as many nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and lifelong friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral Mass took place on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Clarenville. In her memory donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Children's Wish Foundation.

Passed peacefully away at his home in St. John's on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, Ronald Lockyer, formerly of Arnold's Cove, aged 90 years. Predeceased by parents John and Ethel; sisters Annie Morgan and Mary Lockyer; brother William. Left with fond and loving memories his daughter Bridget Mary (Brian); grandsons Joshua and Isaiah; brother-in-law Enos Lockyer; nieces and nephews Wilfred (Beulah), Bernice (Jim), Clayton, William Jr., Roy, Mary, Joyce, Cynthia, Rosena, Yvonne and Joan; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Arnolds Cove. Funeral service took place on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at St. Michael's All Angels Anglican Church, Arnolds Cove with interment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Arnolds Cove. Margaret Francis Byrne (nee Harty)

Surrounded by her loving family, Margaret Francis Byrne (nee Harty), Keels, age 87, passed peacefully away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Bonavista Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Leo Guy, brother's Tom Harty, Bill Harty and sister Ann Maloney. Left to mourn her sons: Leo (Ruby), Louis (Maria), James (Shirley), Eugene (Wanda), daughters: Mary Ellen, Valerie (Gary). Five precious grandsons: Jordan, Justin, Corey, Rodney and Compton. Lifelong friend and sister in law Loretta Byrne and family. A large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service was held on April 26, 2016 from Sts. Peter & Paul Church, King's Cove. Laid to rest beside her loving husband at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, King's Cove.

Audrey Quinton
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Audrey Lorraine Quinton announce her passing at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Thursday May 12, 2016 at the age of 93 years. She was predeceased by her husband Maxwell Quinton and her son Edgar Harold Quinton. She is leaving to mourn with fond and loving memoires her granddaughter Cathy Quinton (Andrew Murley); daughter-¬in-law Catherine Thompson; brothers: Ronald White, Gordon White (Gladys); sister: Bertha Stickley and other expended relatives and friends. Friends may visit Strathie's Funeral Home, Catalina on Sunday May 15, 2016 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with the funeral service to follow on Monday May 16, 2016 at 2 p.m officiated by Reverend Bruce Rideout with interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request, donations in Audrey's memory may be made to the Gander & area S.P.C.A. Passed peacefully away on May 8, 2016, at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear, Hazel Marjorie Butt, age 96, of Winterbrook. Predeceased by husband, George; parents, Neahmiah and Priscilla Hampton; 3 brothers; 1 sister and daughter-in-law, Lulu Butt. Leaving to mourn are her sons, Edgar (Jeanie) and Winston (Olive); grandchildren, Jackie (Wayne) Murphy, Douglas (Christine), Janet (Perry) Rideout, and Angela (Rodney Vatcher) Butt; great grandchildren, Edward, Maggie (Ryan Pitt), Sylvia, Ashley, Gavin and Robyn; great great grandchildren, Sawyer and Natalie; sisters, Myrtle Hampton and Alice Muggridge; brother, Clifford Hampton and sister-in-law, Nellie Butt and many other relatives and friends. Rested at the Portland United Church. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Elsie Pottle, took place on Wednesday, May 11, at 2:00 pm from the Portland United Church, with interment following at the United Church Cemetery, Winterbrook. Mary Stares
Born: May 24th, 1936
Passed on: May 11th, 2016

Mary, from Scarborough, ON passed away on May 11, 2016 at Providence Villa following a brave battle with lung cancer. Born May 24, 1936 in Bonavista, NL Mary moved to Toronto in 1957. Mary was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Julia Fleming of Bonavista, NL and by 1 great granddaughter, Jexy Scott-Deal. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 37 years, Joseph Homer; her 3 daughters Terry (Michael) Sutton, Lori Judge, and Carol Stares; her 2 step children, Kelly (Robert) Rontario and Paul Homer; 10 grandchildren, Vanessa and Sarah Scott, David and Daryl Sutton, Skye and Asya Chevolleau, Jakob and Jaeden Rontario; Ethan and Liam Homer; and 2 great granddaughters, Joss and Scarlett Scott-Deal. A private burial will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery on May 20. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Daffodil Place, St. John's, NL. 1-888-753-6520.
There is no death. People only die when we forget them. We will keep you with us, by remembering you always.

Marilyn Ballett

Passed peacefully away at her home on Thursday, May 12, 2016, Marilyn Ballett of Port Rexton, aged 75 years. Predeceased by husband Roy and grandson Cody. Left with fond and loving memories her children Ernest, Michelle (Gary) and Barbara (Terry); grandchildren Dylan, Laura, Michael and Brian; great grandchildren Peyton, Carter, Jacob, Jase, Tarok, Reid, Drew and Preston; sisters Sybil and Nellie; brothers Maxwell (Linda) and Eric; and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Christ Church, Port Rexton with interment at Anglican Cemetery, Port Rexton. In her memory donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
