LETHBRIDGE, Margaret (nee Seaward)
Passed peacefully away at her residence in Clarenville, after a lengthy illness, in the presence of her loving family, on Saturday, March 4, 2000, Margaret Lethbridge, aged 70 years. Predeceased by daughter Susanna. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Chester of 46 years; daughters Joyce (Cyril) Moore, children - Holly ans Michael, Ann Marie (Tony) Wiseman, children - Christina and Suzanne; son Peter (Gillian), children - Ted (Loretta and mother - Ruby) and Matthew (mother Kim); and one great grandchild - Sabrina; sisters: Ruby (Roy Lethbridge), Julia (Andrew Cooper), Annie (David Mulley), Esther (Doug Bryant); brother - Richard (Clare) Seaward; also a large circle of other family and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Squires on March 7, 2000 from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville with Interment followed at the Old Anglican Cemetery, Popular Road. Donations may be made in her memory to a charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Blundon's Funeral Home, Shoal Harbour.

RANDELL, Henry George
Passed peacefully away on March 4, 2000 at the Health Science Centre in St. John's, Henry George Randell, age 85 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife, Lila Marion; son, Ronald (wife, Nancy) of Wabush; two grandsons, Rodney and Christopher at Winsor, Ontario; three brothers, Elihu (wife, Beulah), Abe (wife, Collette), and Harold (wife, Diane); sisters-in-law, Peggy Randell and Kay Locke; a great number of nieces and nephews, and many relatives and friends. Interment took place at Port Rexton on March 7. He was a member of the L.O.L., R.B.P and Royal Canadian Legion.

PENNEY, Wandsworth
Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, March 5, 2000, Wandsworth Penney of Burgoyne's Cove, aged 69 years. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Louisa of 46 years; brothers Willis (Betty), Clarenville and Ern (Irene), Corner Brook; sisters Elizabeth (Michael Pritchett), Corner Brook, Vinnie (Eric Stanley), Clarenville Belle Vardy, Clarenville and Rowena Humphries, Gambo. Also a large number of nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville on Monday, March 6, 2000. Rested at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Burgoyne's Cove on Tuesday, March 7, 2000. Funeral service held Wednesday, March 8, 2000 from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Burgoyne's Cove with interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Burgoyne's Cove. In his memory a memorial fund to St. Mary's Anglican Church, Burgoynes Cove.

MILLS, Violet Pearl (nee Loder)
In her 72nd year, Pearl Mills passed away Tuesday, March 7 at Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, New Brunswick. Originally from North Harbour, Placentia Bay. Predeceased by husband Harold Mills, four brothers, two sisters, and parents Ambrose and Jessie (Stacey) Loder. Leaving to mourn, and remember, a wide circle of relatives and dear friends. Funeral services held at Bethel Pentecostal Assemblies (506-488-2842), Mill Cove, NB, 2 p.m., March 9. Interment at Bethel Pentacostal Cemetery.

BUTT, Garfield
Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday, March 8, 2000, Garfield Butt of Lethbridge, aged 89 years. Predeceased by wife Lucy, 2000. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are two sons John (Doreen) and George (Ida), both of Lethbridge; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister-in-law Rowena Butt of Grand Falls-Winsor and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Funeral took place on Sunday, March 12, 2000 from Memorial United Church, Lethbridge. Interment at New United Church Cemetery, Lethbridge. Memorial Fund to Sunshine Manor, Dr. G. B. Cross Hospital, Clarenville.

HAYLEY, Marie
Passed peacefully away at the Bonavista Health Care Complex on March 13, 2000 after a short illness, Marie Hayley, aged 73 years. Left to mourn, husband Frank; son, William and wife Diane; two grandchildren, Brian and Nicole; sister, Alma (St. John's); Uncle Gordon (Bonavista); sister-in-law, Dorothy (Bishop's Falls); two nephews, Larry and family, John and family; four nieces, Christine and family, Elizabeth Ann and family, Dorothy and family, and Marilyn. Interment was at the Anglican Cemetery, Coster Street, Bonavista.

WISEMAN, Doris S. (nee Holloway)
Suddenly passed away on March 19, 2000 at the G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville at the age of 73 years. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Walter; son Clyde, wife Kay and family; daughter Rita, husband Franco and family; and daughter Beverley, husband Keith and family. She will be greatly missed by all. Donations in her memory can be made to the Salvation Army Church, Musgravetown.

HOBBS, Randell
Passed peacefully away at the Bonavista Hospital on Monday, March 20, 2000, Randell Hobbs aged 80 years. Left with loving memories are his wife Irene, daughter Brenda (Gerald), sons Raymond (Patsy); Eugene (Lillian), Brian (Brenda), Randy (Kim), Kenneth (Melanie), nine grandchildren, sisters Annie (Garfield), Port Blandford, Edith in B.C.; brother Howard (Inez) Keels; and a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral was held on March 24, at the Anglican Church, Bonavista with interment at the Anglican Cemetery.

BARNES, Howard
Passed peacefully away at G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday, March 22, 2000, Howard Barnes of Shoal Harbour, formally of Champney's West, aged 91 years. Left with fond and loving memories are one sister Mary Way, St. John's; one sister-in-law Annie Goldsworthy, Port Rexton; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at fewer's Funeral Home, Port Rexton. Funeral held on Saturday, March 25, 2000 from English Harbour United Church with interment at the United Cemetery, Champney's Arm. In his memory a memorial may be given to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Champney's Arm.

BARNES, Jeremiah
Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital on Friday, March 24, 2000, Jerry Barnes of Trouty, aged 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Florence of 55 years; two daughters Daisy Janes (Norman) of New Bonaventure and Joan Matthews (Everett) of Shoal Harbour; brother Aquilla (Mary) of Port Blandford; sister Mary Ann Moss (George) of Toronto, ON, Minnie Miller of St. Catherines, ON, Trixie Thomas of Corner Brook, Eleanor Smith (Walter) of South River; cousin Gladys Johnson (Chester) of Trouty; and five grandchildren. Also a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral services took place on Monday, March 27, 2000, from St. Matthews Church, Trouty. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Trouty.

GEORGE, Mildred
Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital on Monday, March 27, 2000, Mildred George, aged 82 years. Predeceased by parents William and Amelia Brown, husband Willis Stanley of twelve years and husband Stanley George of fifteen years, three sisters, one brother, one daughter and two sons. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories son Herbert Stanley (Gladys) of George's Brook, daughter Mary Ellis (Reginald) of George's Brook, son Jimmy Stanley of George's Brook, daughter Nellie Ellis (Manuel) of George's Brook, son Nelson Stanley (Edna) of George's Brook, daughter Annie Chatman (Levern) of George's Brook and son Ivan Stanley (Michelle) of Port Hope, Ontario; fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, one niece, two nephews, relatives and friends. rested at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, George's Brook. Funeral took place on Thursday, March 30, 2000, from Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, George's Brook. Interment followed at the Milton-George's Brook Cemetery.

MOSS, Ian Clyde
Passed away at St. Clare's Hospital, St. John's, NF, on Monday, March 27, 2000, Ian Clyde Moss. Predeceased by his parents Phyllis and Chesley Moss, brother Dennis and brother-in-law Ern Sullivan. Leaving to mourn wife Elsie; son Richard, Port Blandford, NF; daughters Sheila Lalonde (Larry), Fort McMurray, AB, Sandra Eddy (Jerry), Grande Prairie, AB, Sharon Moss (Warren Schultz), Fort McMurray, AB, Sue-Ann Townsend (David), Red Cliff, AB; eight grandchildren; sisters Julia Whitty (Anthony), Etobicoke, ON, Anne White (Michael), Tumbler Ridge, BC, Phyllis Sullivan, Port Blandford, NF; Penney Pardy (Howard), Azilda, ON, Mildred Brinston (Ivan), Fort McMurray, AB; sister-in-law Irene Moss, Fort McMurray, AB; mother-in-law Reta Greening, Port Blandford, NF; special friends Sheila and Wallace Budgell, Clarenville, NF and Ida and Brian Tobin, Fort McMurray, AB; and a large number of relatives and friends. Funeral services held at St. Aiden's Anglican Church, Port Blandford, NF on March 31, 2000.
