BERKSHIRE, Alma Patience (nee Slade)
Passed on: June 11th, 2018

Passed peacefully away at the Hilltop Manor, Arnold's Cove on June 11, 2018, Alma Patience Berkshire (nee Slade) of Arnold's Cove formerly of Kingwell, aged 75 years. Predeceased by her husband, Captain Raymond Berkshire, parents, Frank and Lillias Slade, brother, Roy, and sister Una. Left with loving memories are her sons Terry (Pauline) and Glenn (Gladys), brother, Edmund (Jeanette), sister, Linda (Joe), grandchildren, Melissa, Daniel, Abbigail, and Malcolm, and a circle of extended family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to the employees of Hilltop Manor who have become our second family through the last three-and-a-half years. Your warmth and kindness will not be forgotten. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home in Arnold's Cove. Funeral Service was held on Thursday, June 14, at 2 PM from First United Church, Arnold's Cove with interment at Interfaith Cemetery, Arnold's Cove. Donations in her memory may be made to the First United Church of Arnold's Cove.

GREEN, Florence "Florrie"
Passed on: June 15th, 2018

Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center, Grand Falls-Windsor on Friday, June 15, 2018; Florrie Green of Deep Bight aged 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Wilfred; son Roy; bother Lester; parents John & Elsie Avery; brothers in law Fred and Maxwell. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughter Hazel (Dave); grandson Trevor (Rochell); sister Betty; brothers Russell (Annie), Garfield (Margaret), Harvey (Ivy), Clarence (Patsy); sisters in law Muriel, Dot and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at the United Church, Deep Bight. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from the United Church Deep Bight with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Deep Bight. In her memory donations may be to the United Church Women.

LITTLE, Albert Clyde
Born: August 28th, 1937
Passed on: June 3rd, 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Albert Clyde Little (DB: Aug.28/1937) of Bonavista, NL after a courageous battle with cancer on June 3, 2018. Predeceased by son Dean, parents Clyde and Mary Little, brothers Frank, Len, Eric, sister Betty and brothers-in-law Roy Bragg and Bill Fifield, mother and father-in-law, Eva and Garfield Way and sister-in- law Greta Way. Left to mourn his wife of 52 years, Florence (nee Way), daughters Colleen (Terry), Gina (Gerald), son Craig (Kim). Grandchildren Katrina, Tyler, Samantha, Evan and Natalie, sisters, Joan, Glendene (Gord), Bonnie (Bob), Doreen (Dana), Pauline (Junior), brother Doug (Shirley), sisters-in-law Margaret Little, Betty Miles, brother-in-law Lewis Way (Margaret) a large circle of nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends. And of course his two doggie pals Lulu and Buddy. Resting at Strathie's Funeral Home, Bonavista. Funeral service took place on June 6, 2 pm at Memorial United Church Bonavista. Those who so desire to make memorial donations can do so to the Dean Little Memorial Hockey Fund at P.O Box 1530, Bonavista, NL A0C 1B0.

SMITH, Tammy
Passed on: June 13th, 2018

Passed away suddenly at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, Tammy Smith of Rankin Inlet, formerly of Clarenville, aged 49 years. Predeceased by her niece Allison. Left with fond and loving memories are her parents Chesley and Donna; brothers Todd (Colleen), Tim (Collette), Trevor (Jennifer) and Trent (Jackie); nieces and nephews Kristen, Chelsea, Julianna, Matthew, Jordan, Sarah, Ryan and Shannon; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Fewer's Memorial Chapel with interment at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery. In her memory donations may be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
