STRONG, Beulah M. - Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday, May 30, 2007, Beulah M. Strong of Clarenville, aged 75 years. Predeceased by her mother and father Brishel and Gertrude Strong, brother Eddie and sister Sheila Trickett. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her step-mother Blanche (John Preston); sister Mervie Soucey (Jack), Ottawa, ON; brothers Ray (Shirley), Clarenville, Hervine (Patsy), Smith Falls, ON, Derrick (Ella), Clarenville and Lloyd (Linda), Clarenville; caregivers Shirley and Tom Reid, Shoal Harbour and a large number of relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place at Fewer's Funeral Home on Friday, June 1,2007, with interment at United Church Cemetery, Church Hill. In her memory donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

FROST, Barry MacKinley: Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on May 29, 2007 (Age 51 years). Leaving to mourn his loving wife Kathie, two beautiful children Jennifer and Amanda and their mother Anne. His devoted mother and father, Walter and Rowena Frost of Hillview, his ever-faithful sister Pauline (Gary) and his loyal brother Keith (Lana). Left also to mourn are his nieces and nephews Angela and Adam Park and Mackenzie and Hannah Frost along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His parents-in-law, Gail and Bert Brown and his sister-in-law Sheri (Nathan). His dedicated Ready Cash employees, along with hundreds of business associates across Canada and the US whose lives he touched in so many ways. Also mourning is Margaret Jarvis, whose friendship brought Barry comfort, and his treasured and faithful companion GUS. Waiting for him in heaven, Mom and Dad Adams, Nan and Pop Frost, mother in law Nellie Cornick, cousin Jeffrey Izer, Aunt Mary, uncle Levi, along with special friends Nita and Max Stoyles. In lieu of flowers donations will be gratefully accepted to the Hillview United Church Pastorial Charge Manse Pavement Fund. Visitation for family and friends was held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the Grace United Church, Hillview (Trinity Bay). The funeral service took place at The Grace United Church, Hillview delivered by Pastor Glenn Jarvis, his minister and friend on May 31, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.

BENOIT, Annie - Passed peacefully away at Placentia Hospital on Monday, June 4, 2007, Annie Benoit of Southern Harbour, aged 98 years. Predeceased by husband Ernest. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Jane Traverse (Martin), Burnaby, BC; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nephew Andy Carroll (Lucy) and a large number of relatives and friends. Rested at Roman Catholic Church, Southern Harbour. Funeral mass took place on Thursday, June 7, 2007 from Roman Catholic Church, Southern Harbour with interment at Roman Catholic Cemetery, Southern Harbour.

ROWSELL: Passed away suddenly on May 31, 2007 in Duncan, British Columbia, David Lloyd Rowsell, aged 64 years. Predeceased by Father Wesley Rowsell. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories; his wife Carol, two daughters; Lorilee (Eric), Christina (Jared); and four grandchildren Bryonna-Lee, Tia, Tobie and Alexander; his mother Winnifred; four brothers Fred (Gertrude), Barry, Bruce (Linda), Eric (Rachael); two sisters Barbara Holloway (Carl), Doreen Fulford (Keith) and 11 nieces and nephews.

Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior Citizens Home, Clarke's Beach on Thursday, May 31, 2007, Amelia Hannah Giles, Garden Cove in her 98^th year. Predeceased by her husband, James (1978); parents, Chesley and Maria; brothers, Eli and James; sister, Bessie. Left with fond and loving memories, daughter, Irene (Don Watkins), Robert's Arm; sons, Wilfred (Edwina), Garden Cove, Sidney (Lorraine), Garden Cove, Gordon (Ruby), Norman's Cove; 11 grandchildren, 15 great­ grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rested at Memorial United Church, Garden Cove. Funeral service held on Monday, June 4 at 2 p.m. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 61 years Harvey Maxwell; sons Norman (Mary), Portland, Harvey (Elva), Brampton, ON; daughter Ethel, Etobicoke, ON; sisters Marie Stevenson, Jamestown and Violet Hayward (Roy), Bomanville, ON; grandchildren Ricky, Natasha (Garland Greening), Candice, Stephen and Jonathan; great-grandchildren Sebastian, Jeremy, Tyler, Ryan and Cole; sisters-in-law Cavell, Amelia and Selma Hancock, Myrtle Hampton, Hazel Butt, Alice Muggridge and Phyllis Little; brother-in-law Clifford Hampton.
