Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Complex, St. John's, on June 25, 2003. Predeceased by her husband, Ezekial and son-in-law, Herb Penney. Leaving to mourn three children, Jane, Clayton (Joy) and Joyce (Wayne Osmond); four grandchildren, Michele (Glen), Trina, Angela and Andrew; three great-grandchildren, Brent, Jordan and Joshua; two sisters, Elizabeth Locke and Annie Russell. She will also be missed by a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island. Funeral took place on Saturday, June 28, 2003, from the Salvation Army, Hickman's Harbour. Officiating clergy were Captains Randy and Carolyn Hale and a beautiful tribute given by grandson, Andrew. Interment followed at the Salvation Army cemetery, Hickman's Harbour.

GOODYEAR, May (Bannister) of Harcourt, NL, formerly of Toronto, ON, beloved wife and best friend for 54 years of John Goodyear, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Saturday, July 12, 2003, aged 81 years.
