HAMMOND, Edward - Passed away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, Edward Hammond of Clarenville, formerly of Bell Island, aged 61 years. Predeceased by parents Frank and Muriel Hammond; sisters Monica and Regina; sister-in-law Joanne Hammond. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Mona of 28 years; daughter Kimberly Sansone, Grand Falls; sons Frank Hammond, Clarenville and Paul Perry (Amber), Ontario; grandchildren Jenna, Jordan, Joshua, Jake and Kayla; sisters Catherine (Riv Ford), Bell Island, Pauline (Gord Bishop), Stephenville and Cynthia (Stan Squires), St. John's; brother Vincent (Marilyn), Guelph, ON, William, Mississauga, ON, Fintan, St. John's and John (Judy), Bay Roberts and a large circle of relatives and friends.

DUFFETT: We regret to announce the sudden passing of Stuart L. Duffett, age 80, in the presence of his loving family, at the Health Science Complex, St John's, on Thursday June 25, 2009. Predeceased by parents; William and Theodosia; sisters, Mereda and Dorothy (Arthur) Ivany; brothers; Walter and Willis (Ethel), wife; Joyce (1998), father and mother-in-law, George and Maisie Ivany. Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories are his daughters; Sharon Jones (Keith); grandchildren: Bradley (Nicole), Colin and Andrew, Wanda Grace (Gordon), grandchildren: Christina and Jennifer, sisters: Amy March (Maarch), Jean Ivany (Oliver), Edna Simmons (Harold-deceased); sister-in-law, Sophie Duffett, special buddy, Keva, nieces, nephews and a large number of other relatives and friends. Too well loved to ever be forgotten

DROVER: It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dennis Warrick Drover announce his passing at the family residence surrounded by his loving family on June 30, 2009 at the age of 67 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Frances Drover, his children Shelley Drover, Tracey Drover (Matthew Sullivan), Doug Drover. His brother Ted L. Drover and sister Dorothy (Rusty) Drover, his grandchildren Douglas Warren, Frankie Warren, Berkie Warren, William Sullivan, Oliver Sullivan, special nephews Harry Burton and Luke Burton. He is predeceased by his parents Dorothy (Blackie) and Harry Drover and his brother Robert Barton. Cremation has taken place. Family will be hosting a reception to receive family and friends on Friday, July 3, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. at 20 Elswick Road, Corner Brook. PEDDLE: Anna Belle - Passed peacefully away at the Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista on Saturday, June 27, 2009, Anna Belle Peddle in her 91st year, of Bloomfield. Predeceased by brothers Jack (Edith and Ethel), Sylvester (Susie), Roy (Hilda and Winnifred), Robert; sisters Nellie (Eugene) Fogwell, Linda (James) Keats; brothers-in-law, Lyman Brown, Joseph Greening, William Palmer, John Williams. Left with fond and loving memories her sisters Lavina Brown, Doris Greening, Charlotte Williams, Gertie (Clayton) Holloway; brother Joseph (Margaret); sister-in-law Henrietta Peddle and Myrtle Peddle and a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 2 p.m. from the Heritage United Church, Musgravetown, followed with interment at the United Cemetery, Musgravetown. PEDDLE: Hubert Cyrus - Passed away after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his family at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Friday, July 3, 2009, Hubert Cyrus Peddle of Port Blandford, aged 74 years. Predeceased by wife Annie. Left with fond and loving memories his daughters Lesia (Jim Stick), St. John's and Nicole (Lloyd Mugford), Port Blandford; sons Rick (Rowena), Terry (Georgina), and Chris, all of Port Blandford; special brother Aubrey (Mattie); six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. Memorial service took place on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Anglican Church, Port Blandford with interment at Anglican Cemetery, Port Blandford.

CUFF, A. Lloyd - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center on Saturday, July 4th, 2009, A. Lloyd Cuff of Bonavista, aged 79 years. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Evangeline Cuff; brother, Eric Cuff; sister, Vivian Ryan and infant sister, Ruby. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Rae; daughters: Beverly Gulliver (Wayne) of St. John's, NL, Diane Cuff of Pickering, ON; grandchildren: Susanne Gulliver (Dennis), Julia Gulliver and Andrew Gulliver as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A family memorial was held on Sunday, July 5, 2009. A memorial service was held at Bonavista on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Bonavista. Predeceased by parents, Ambrose and Ada Goldsworthy; brothers: Will, Richard and Garland Goldsworthy; sister, Vickie Freeman and great-granddaughter Rebecca Jean Cole. Predeceased by husband Elwood Green and by her parents George and Pheobe (Ricketts), Goobie; three brothers, Joseph, Joshua, William; and two sisters: Margaret Gregory, Annie Pomroy. Leaving to mourn with precious memories two sons, Clifford (Beverley) Carbonear, Clyde (Jeanie), Goobies; four daughters, Ethel (Gary Clarke) Seattle WA, Barbara (Kenneth Churchill) Hillview, Marilyn (Jan Erik Wiklund), Calgary AB, Sharon (Alec Snelgrove) Goobies, 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Violet Pike, Lethbridge and two brothers, Arthur and Rex of Queen's Cove.
