Neil Bursey
Passed suddenly away after a tragic accident, at Fort McMurray, Alberta on December 20, 2010, Neil Bursey of Bloomfield, residing in Fort McMurray aged 18 years. Predeceased by grandfather Herbert Holloway, aunt Lorraine Howse, uncle Eric Holloway, great grandfather Donald Bursey, great grandfather Allen Avery, cousin Scott Pretty, special cousin Neil Avery. Left with fond and loving memories his Parents Wayne and Fran Bursey, grandparents Rosella Holloway, Mervin Bursey (Nanny Fay) and Eileen Smith (Poppy Bill), great grandmothers Violetta Avery, Elsie Bursey, and a large number of aunts and uncles and cousins, (close friend late Cory Chartrand), and a large number of relatives and friends. Rested at Salvation Army Citadel in Musgravetown. Funeral took place 2:30 pm on Tuesday December 28, 2010 at the Salvation Army Citadel Musgravetown. Cremation to follow.

John (Jack) Moores
Passed Away On: 30/12/2010

Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, December 30, 2010, Jack Moores of Clarenville, aged 71 years. Predeceased by parents Caywood and Evelyn; father-in-law Arthur Sweetland and special cousin Pat Guy. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Pauline of 45 years; daughter Evelyn (Paul Tilley); son Shawn (Cindy); grandchildren Hannah, Harrison, Joshua and Noah; mother-in-law Millie Sweetland; brothers-in-law Bruce Sweetland (Joan) and Albert Sweetland (Edith) brother George; special companions Josie and Rocky and a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation took place at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service was held on Sunday, January 2, 2010 from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville with interment at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery. In his memory donations may be made to the Diabetes Association

Blanche Mary Prince
Passed Away On: 23/12/2010

Passed peacefully away at the Valley Farm Nursing Home in Pickering ON. on December 23rd at 2pm in her 95th year. Blanche Prince (nee Pitts) of Charleston, Bonavista Bay originally of Cannings Cove. Loving and devoted wife of the late Henry Prince (1967). Predeceased by children Eileen (Spurrell) Gerald, Robert and Gloria and son in law Nath Barrett. Parents William and Jane Pitts, brothers John and William and sister in law Jenny Pitts. Leaving to mourn, Daughters Marina Barrett (Nath) and friend Lloyd Molyneaux of Toronto. Barbara and Roland Smith of Newmarket, ON. Cynthia and Leo Maloney of Sweet Bay, NL. Mabel and Allan King of Kitchener, ON. Glenys and Maurice Duke of Kitchener, ON. and Rosalind Prince of Pickering, ON. Also, daughter in law Ivy Prince (Gerald) of Grand Falls, NL. She was the cherished grandmother of 16, Great Grandmother of 24, Great Great Grandmother of 6. Many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. Rested at the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Charleston, from where the funeral service officiated by Rev. Jim Pollard, took place on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island.

Passed Away On: 27/12/2010

It was with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mabel Boutcher of Clarenville on December 27, 2010, aged 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Garfield and son-in-law Eugene Burt. Left with fond and loving memories her children; Herman(Maxine), Lilian (Chesley George), Doreen Burt, Minnie Boutcher (Jim), Rene (Glenda); 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a large number of relatives and friends. Remains rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral took place on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarenville with interment at Pleasant Street Cemetery, Clarenville. Passed peacefully away at Dr. Albert O'Mahoney Manor Clarenville on Tuesday January 4th, 2011 Lydia Elizabeth Baker of North West Brook in her 81st year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Sons: Gary and wife Linda of North West Brook, Glen and wife Marilyn of Labrador City; Daughters: Sharon Toope and husband Clayton of Mount Pearl, Sheila Baker (Bill) of North West Brook, Cindy Johnson and husband Brian of Oshawa, Ont. 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; Sister Shirley Wight (Ross) Brothers: Sterling Rumbolt (Ada), Bernard Rumbolt (Sherry) and Freeman Rumbolt (Kay) Pre-deceased her husband Arthur. Funeral service was officiated by Pastor G. Jarvis from Emmanuel United Church, North West Brook on Saturday Junuary 8st, 2011 with interment following at United Church Cemetery, North West Brook. Clarenville Newfoundland Canada and Ireland - General Surgeon GB Cross Hospital Clarenville at 59 years of age on January, 14, 2011 peacefully in the presence of his family. Beloved husband of Camilla and loving father of Isobel (son in law Devin Rose), Jedidiah and Mark. Proud Grandfather of the newest joy of his life Erin Camilla Rose. Predeceased by his daughter Mary and parents Sean and Mairead O'Seaghdha. Leaving with wonderful memories his brothers Murt (Elisabeth) , Seán (Fionnuala), Eoghan (Elaine) and Dónal (Maria) and sister Muireann (Vincent Conway); Also deeply regretted by his grand nephews, sisters in law, Dr. Marcella Colbert, Pamela (Padraic) Moneley and brothers in law Jonathan (Bla), Raymond, Fabian (Nan) and William (Anne) O' Connor; deeply regretted by a large circle of nieces and nephews, uncle Pádraig, aunt Maeve (Murray), and a wide circle of medical colleagues, family and friends. Rosie Tucker
Passed Away On: 13/01/2011

On Thursday January 13, 2011 our lives were forever changed when our wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend was taken from us so suddenly. Rosie was predeceased by her father Hubert Tucker. Left to mourn with many fond and precious memories, her loving family; her husband Everett, daughter Kaitlyn, sister Dorothy Clouter and husband Alvis, brother Robert and wife Brenda, mother Emma Tucker, all from Bunyan's Cove, nieces, nephews plus a large circle of other family and friends. Rosie will be fondly remembered as a fun loving girl with a warm heart and great personality. She will be greatly missed by all of those whose lives she touched in many different ways. To know her was to love her....
Funeral service was officiated by Rev. Cook from St. Paul's United Church Bunyan's Cove on Monday January 17, 2011 with interment following at St. Paul's United Church Cemetery.
