Passed away suddenly at his home in Plate Cove West on Tuesday, December 4, 2001, Frank Philpott in his 71st year. Predeceased by his son Frank Jr., three infant sons and his parents Thomas and Ellen. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Rose; daughters Meriam (Paul) and Agnes (Edmund) both of Plate Cove West; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two sisters Josephine (William) of Plate Cove West and Bridget of Duntara; and a large circle of relatives and friends.
