Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Hospital, St. John's on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, Kay Davis of Clarenville, aged 57 years. Predeceased by husband Maxwell George Davis and father Andrew Marshall. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her mother Violet Marshall; sisters Karen Strong (Harold) and Joanne Marshall; brothers Andy (Diane) and Ken (Judy); nephews Jason Mills, David Mills, Mitchell Greening and Justin Marshall; nieces Amelia Marshall and Harry Marshall; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Fewer's Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with cremation to follow. Burial to take place at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery at a later date.

HOLLOWAY, Grace
Passed on: February 8th, 2018

Passed away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, February 8, 2018, Grace Holloway of Bloomfield, aged 63 years. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Cluette of 47 years; sons Sandy (Melissa) and Randy (Jenny); granddaughters Tamara (Danny), Shantelle and Ally; sisters Muriel (Ronald), Stella, Margaret (Aulden) and Alice; brothers Dave (Regian), Leonard, Robert (Lois); brother-in-law Robert (Fern); and a large circle of family and friends. Memorial service took place on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Heritage United Church, Musgravetown with interment at the United Cemetery, Musgravetown.

Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Hospital, Clarenville, in the presence of her loving husband and family on Friday, February 2, 2018, Alice Phillips of Bunyan's Cove, aged 73 years. Leaving to mourn her husband, Gordon; seven children: Raymond Phillips (Cindy); Randy Phillips (Kathy); Pauline Garrett (Derek); Pam Phillips (Chris); Donna King (Rupert); Darlene Young (Steve); and Wanda Keats (Bradley); 11 grandchildren: Shane Phillips (Marianne); Chantille Phillips (Kim); Jason Phillips (Zuleika); Kendal Tucker (Joey); Brad King (Caitlyn); Nathan King (Jill); Matthew King (Taylor); Andy Young (Allie); Ian Garrett,; Patrick Dawson and Jenna Keats; 6 great grandchildren: Chase, Reigen, Jared, Mia, Spencer, and Madison; loving sister, Doris Phillips (Gilbert) and brother, Bill Holloway (Trina); and all of the Holloway and Phillips' family members and friends. Rested at St. Paul's United Church, Bunyan's Cove. Funeral service took place on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from St. Paul's United Church, Bunyan's Cove with interment at the United Cemetery, Bunyan's Cove. In her memory donations may be made to St. Paul's United Church, Bunyan's Cove.

, [92], passed away on February 13th, 2018 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's. Predeceased by her parents Norman and Isabelle Handcock, her daughter Lola and siblings: Arthur, Lewis and Martha. Leaving to mourn her husband Albert Piercey; her children: Gordon (Margaret) Handcock, Valerie (Dominique Couture) Piercey, Elaine Hunter, Jean (Gary) Patterson, Pamela (Junior) Patterson, Albert Piercey, Catherine Piercey, Reid (Kimberley) Piercey, Clark (Laura) Piercey, Irene (Bob) Garrigan and Stephen Piercey; brother Alf (Josie Handcock); sister Katie Babstock; brothers-in-law: Walter (Doris), and Robert; sister-in-law Eunice Antle; 28 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 19th, 2018 at 2 p.m. in Barrett's Funeral Chapel, Mt. Pearl.

PRINCE, Cluney Wilson

Passed away suddenly near his home in Charleston on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, Cluney Prince, aged 67 years. Predeceased by his parents Reginald and Rose; brother Douglas; sisters Dora and Doris. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Marguerite of 44 years; sons Jason (Beth) and Jamie (Jakki); cherished granddaughter Isabella; brothers Hubert (Shirley), Clarence (Florence) and Baxter (Effie); sisters Jean Brennan (John) and Lorraine Prince (Hughie); brothers and sisters in law Eileen Bowen (Rex), Judy Ash (Michel), Gilbert Ash (Madonna), Harley Ash (Loretta), Rick Ash (Daphne), Tilson Ash (Jackie), Perry Ash (Claudine) and Hayward Ash (Jeannette). He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends. Rested at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Charleston, from where the funeral service officiated by Rev'd Bob Oldford took place on Saturday, February 24, 2018 with interment following at St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fewer's Funeral Home. In his memory donations may be made to St. Thomas Guardian Cemetery Fund.

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Albert O'Mahony Manor, Clarenville, on Saturday, February 10, 2018 Myrtle Reid of Clarenville aged 85 years. Predeceased by her husband Bill; parents William & Mae Long; brother Bill (Dulcie); sisters Marguerita (Sam) Strong, Lillian (Maurice) Leblanc, Mary (Max) Laite. Left with fond and loving memories are her children Bob (Glenda), Joan (Frank), Janice (Mansley), Rick (Barb); nine grandchildren, Jeff, Rodney, Michael, Robbie, Julie, Patricia, Christine, Bradley, Michelle; 14 great children; brother Jim (Edna) and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service will be held on Thursday February 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm from Fewer's Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment to follow at the Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery. In her memory donations may be made to St. Mary's Anglican Church, Clarenville.

SEWARD, Madeline

Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, Madeline Seward of Gooseberry Cove, aged 71 years. Predeceased by her husband Daniel; son Chris and brother Bill. Left with fond and loving memories are her children Patricia, Karen (Lafaunce) and Corey (Shelly); daughter-in-law Corrine; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Taylor, Megan, Emily, Samantha, Brandon and Brady; great granddaughter Brooklyn; sister Veronica (late Max Seward); brothers Kevin (Daphne), Cyril (Ivy) and Aiden (Winnie); and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer's Funeral Home, Little Hearts Ease. Funeral service took place on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Gooseberry Cove. Cremation has taken place and burial will be held at a later date. In her memory donations may be made to Daffodil Place or St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church Building/Cemetery Fund.
