A face is from our household gone
A voice we loved is stilled
A chair is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled
What he suffered he told so few
He did not deserve what he went through
Tired and weary he made no fuss
But tried so hard to stay with us
God saw you getting weary
A cure was not to be
He put his arms around you And whispered, come to Me.
