Ivany, age 88,
resident of Miraquinn Hilltop Manor, Hickman's Harbour, passed into eternal
rest at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on March
25, 2007.
Predeceased by parents: William and Susie Ivany, brother: Rayfield, sisters:
Effie, May and Yvonne: wives: Sarah (Langer), Ella (Gover) and Maye (Oake)
and two infant children. Leaving to mourn daughter, Effie (Vincent Bryant),
grandchildren, Catherine, Lloyd and Michelle; brother: Gerald; nephews: Calvin
and Fred, niece, Heather; brother-in-law: Samuel Langer (Myrtle), nephew Robert,
niece, Wanda; step-family members and other relatives and friends. Rested at
Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island. The funeral service, officiated by Captains
Wilfred and Wavey Simms, assisted by Lieuts. Randy and Diane Kirby and Pastor
Carl Earle, took place from the Salvation Army, Hickman's Harbour on Wednesday,
March 28, 2007 with interment following at the Salvation Army cemetery, Lower
Lance Cove. PENNEY, Llewellyn (July 31, 1931-March 23, 2007) - Passed
peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on March
23, 2007, Llewellyn Penney of Canning's Cove in his 75th year.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Irene; sons Harold (Jackie)
of Ottawa, Ontario, Lou (Karen) of Dartmouth, NS; daughters Ruby (Serge) Brousseau
