We the family of the late Gertrude Ivany wish to express our gratitude and sincere thanks to all who helped in any way during the recent death of a dear mother, grandmother and sister. We appreciate our many friends and relatives who attended the funeral service, sent cards, flowers and donations. Special thanks to Dr. O'Mahony, nurses and staff of the extended care unit at the G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, our deepest gratitude to Fewer's Funeral Service, pallbearers, grave diggers and all who visited her at the hospital. Your kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered. OBITUARY
Passed peacefully away at the G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, Oct. 27, 1989, Gertrude Ivany of Summerville formerly of English Harbour. Left to mourn are her daughter Lorraine Fry of Summerville, sisters Sophie Patten of New York and Mary and husband Fry of Charleston, one special Aunt Ethel Blake of New York and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service was held Sunday at Fewers Funeral Home, Lethbridge, and internment at Summerville, Bonavista Bay.
