Barry George Jackman, Age 59, September 1,2006.
Leaving to remember the wonderful life he enjoyed, wife Jen (nee Templeton);
daughter Alison (husband Glen & granddaughter Sarah); sons Tom and Dan
(wife Pam and grandson Cooper); sister Carol and husband Jean Paul and all
extended family and friends.
It is Barry's wish that there be no funeral or visitation. His wish is that
everyone do something now that they have been putting off until the future,
'cause the future may never come
PENNEY, DORIS G.
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Doris G.
Penney announce her passing at the Green Bay Hospital, Springdale on September
15, 2006 at the age of 82 years. Doris was a member of the Springdale
Pentecostal Church.
Predeceased by parents Roland and Elizabeth Hull,
sisters; Mary Bartlett, Mavis Butt, Gladys Weir and Bonnie Woolridge.
Left with fond and loving memories are: husband, Edward; son, Bruce Penney
(Eileen) of Springdale, NL; daughter, Joy Simms of Oakville, Ont; grandchildren,
Warren Penney, Tracy Resendes, Randy Simms, Trevor Simms, David Simms,
Elizabeth Markovic, Paul Simms; sister, Alice Penney and a large circle
of relatives and friends.
Pastor Lindsay Foster conducted the funeral service from the Pentecostal
Church in Springdale on Sept. 18, 2006.
Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Grant Ave. Springdale.
Pallbearers were, Cyril Goudie, Boyce Wells, Gordon Noble, Basil Saunders,
Cecil Curlew and Moody Hewlett.
VINCENT, GARLAND W.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Garland
W. Vincent announce his passing in Triton on September
22, 2006 at the age of 76
years. Garland was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Triton.
Predeceased by
parents Pearce and Celia Vincent, daughter Lorraine and son Bruce.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife Joyce, sons Clayton
(Bernetta) of Triton, Allister of Alberta, daughters Rose (David) Rice
of Triton,
Sandra (Aubrey) Colbourne of Triton, Peggy (Oral) Roberts of New Brunswick,
Bride (Corvin) Winsor of Triton and Kathy (Curt) Coombs of Springdale.
Also
left to mourn 1 brother, 4 sisters, 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pastors Glen and Enid Chaulk conducted the funeral
service at the Pentecostal Church in Triton on Tuesday, September 26,
2006.
Pallbearers were grandchildren, Harry Vincent, Dana Rice, Lance Vincent,
Ryan Winsor, April Duguay and Amanda Hills. Interment was at the Evergreen
Cemetery in Triton.
WHALEN, DONNA NELVINE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donna
Nelvina Whelan announce her passing at the Northern Lights Memorial Hospital
in Fort McMurray, Alberta, on September 30, 2006 at
the age of 58. She is predeceased by her husband Bryon Whelan.
Left with fond and loving memories are sons Hank (Valerie) of Fort
McMurray, Alberta and Russell (Trina) of Fort McMurray, Alberta; parents
Stanford and Rita Colbourne. Also leaving to mourn brother Wilbert
(Joanne), sister Doreen (Garry), brother Calvin (Dianne), sister Catherine
(Dean); grandchildren Christopher, Timothy, Brooke and Belle.
Captain Dwayne and Brandi Ledrew along with Captain Richard and Trudy
Mouland conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church
in Pilley's Island on October 5, 2006. Interment was at the Salvation
Army Cemetery in Pilley's Island.
Pallbearers were sons Hank & Russell Whelan, brothers Wilbert & Calvin
Colbourne, brothers-in-law Garry Payne and Dean Brett.
WELLS, KEVIN LEWIS (COACH)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kevin
Lewis Wells (Coach) announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Center
in Springdale on September 30, 2006 at the age of
33 years. Kevin was a member of the Green Bay Kinsmen Club.
Kevin was predeceased by grandparents Elizabeth and William Wells
and Agnes and Joseph Smith.
Left with fond and loving memories are his parents Margaret and Freeman
Wells, brother Perry Wells (Brenda), sisters Kathy Wells (Tom Jacobs),
Betty Wells (Chris Ryan), and Pauline Wells (Quenton House), nephews
Stephen, Travis, Kent and Blair, niece Megan and great-niece Destiny
as well as a large circle of relatives and friends.
Majors Gerald and Doreen Lacey conducted the funeral service from
the Salvation Army Citadel in Springdale on October 3, 2006.
Pallbearers were Jody Mercer, Clinton Curtis, Danny Huxter, Paul
Wells, Dave Edison and Corey Tizzard.
