VINCENT, WILLIE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Willie Vincent announce his passing at Fox Cove, near Brighton on September 1, 2003 at the age of 44. Willie was a member of the Salvation Army and had retired from New Venture Logging. Left with fond and loving memories are spouse Hazel; sons Jeffrey, Andy and Clifford all of Triton; daughters Janet (Eddie), White Court, AB and Jenny (Scott), Orillia ON. Also leaving to mourn Lindy and Winnie, Debbie and Charles, Leo and Marie, Carvin and Penny, Della and Lloyd, Pratt and Verna and Kemp; grandchildren Adrian, Cody and Brady. Capt. Rex Colbourne conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel on September 7, 2003. Interment was at the Triton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Clifford Hibbs, John Hedges, Rocky Roberts, Clarey Roberts, Mike Williams, Derrick Mercer, Dave Pinksen, Craig Budgell, Jeff Vincent, Gerard Lynch and Arnold Edwards.

SHEARS, THELMA SUSANNAH
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thelma S. Shears, age 69, announce her passing at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Friday, September 12, 2003. Predeceased by parents Jim and Mary Budden; sisters Neila and Mary and brothers Harold and John. Left with fond and loving memories are Dave Shears (Yvonne), Baie Verte, Holly Pickett (John), Clarenville, Dawne Lalor (George), Cobh, Ireland and Rod Shears, Goose Bay; sister Vivian House (Maxwell), Bellburns; brothers Ben Budgen (Betty), Norris Point, Walter Budgen (friend Eva), Bellburns; grandchildren Michael and Lori Pickett, David James Lalor; brothers-in-law Ben Shears (Beatrice), Austin Shears (Myra); sisters-in-law Evelyn Tiller (friend Bob), Maxine Osmond (David), Sharon Otten (Klaus) Georgina Toms (Lloyd) and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Cremation took place on September 13, 2003. Rev David Pearce conducted the memorial service at Wimbleton's-Baie Verte Funeral Home on Monday, September 15, 2003. Interment was at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Baie Verte. Pallbearers were grandchildren Lori and Michael Pickett.

SNOW OXFORD, NELLIE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nellie Oxford Snow announce her passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre, Botwood on September 21, 2003 at the age of 87. Nellie was a member of the Pentecostal Church, Springdale. Predeceased by husbands Chesley Oxford and John Snow; sisters Harriett and Janie Hudson and brothers Wilson and Jim Hudson. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Ruddy (Yvonne), Springdale, Marvin (Doris), Springdale; daughters Malecia Gosse, Calgary, AB, Shirrill Lake (William), Pasadena, Olive Price (Randolph), Grand Falls-Windsor, and Joslyn Janes (David), Grand Falls-Windsor; 15 grandchildren;i5 great grandchildren; stepsons Stanley (Linda), Gordon (Rosemarie), Calvin (Betty), Jerry (Annetta) and Clarence (Jill); stepdaughters Marie (Gerald), Minnie (Calvin), Fay (Reg), Ruby, Alma (Mervin), Cavell (Landon), Deana (Elie) and Lucy (Mike); 38 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn brother Frazer Hudson, Victoria. Pastor E. Rideout conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church and Cemetery on September 24, 2003. Pallbearers were grandchildren Embry Oxford, Bill Lake Jr., Douglas Janes, Jonathan Price, Twylia Janes and Rochelle Price.

McKAY, LENORA
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lenora McKay, age 91 announce her passing at the BVPHC, Baie Verte on Monday, September 22, 2003. Predeceased by husband George; son Harold; son-in-law Guy Rice; parents Josiah and Helen Osbourne; sisters Bessie McKay, Elizabeth Moores, Priscilla Robinson, Dorothy Banister and Blanche Osbourne; brothers Mathias, Pierce and Aaron. Left with fond and loving memories are son Larry (Shirley), Fort McMurray, AB; daughters Beulah Rice, Seal Cove, Evelyn White (Al), Brantford, ON, Betty Banks (Stan), Seal Cove; daughter-in-law Dorcus McKay, Fort McMurray, AB; sister Myrtle Osbourne; 14 grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Sidney Payne conducted the funeral service at St. Swithin's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Seal Cove on Wednesday, September 24, 2003. Pallbearers were Alonzo Osbourne, George Osbourne, Clement Osbourne, Gordon Parsons, Garry Rideout and Harold Fudge.

GRAY, MAXWELL LLOYD,
SHOE COVE

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxwell Lloyd Gray, age 69, announce his passing at the BVPHC, Baie Verte on Saturday, September 27, 2003. Predeceased by parents Thomas and Margaret Gray; brother Leander Gray; brothers-in-law Claude May and Henry Foss and sister-in-law Lucy Gray. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Lylie; children Betty Gray, Guy Gray (Roma Gillingham), Nina Welshman (Roy), Kathleen Perry (Kevin), Juanita Osbourne (Howard), Junior Gray, Pauline Dobbin (Dennis), Tony Gray (Melissa) and Travis Gray; grandchildren Wendy Welshman, Trina Perry, Kara Gray, Dean Gillingham, Trisha Perry, Corey Osbourne, Dustin Dobbin, Sheldon Gray,; great grandchild Logan Gray; brothers Cyril (Madeline) Eric (Audrey); sisters Audrey May, Myrtis Foote (Chesley) and Evelyn Foss and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. George Kean conducted the funeral service at First United Church and Cemetery, Shoe Cove on Tuesday, September 30, 2003. Pallbearers were Guy Gray, Junior Gray, Tony Gray, Travis Gray, Clayton Newbury and Melvin May.

PERRY, EARL ALBERT,
BURLINGTON

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Earl Albert Perry, age 73, announce his passing at his family residence in Burlington on Saturday, September 27, 2003. Predeceased by his parents Hayward and Maggie Perry; baby sister Maggie and brother Fred. Left with fond and loving memories are sister Margaret (Hubert) Moores; sister-in-law Georgina Perry (with whom he resided); a number of nephews and nieces and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Marilyn Avery conducted the funeral service at Riverside United Church, Burlington on Monday, September 29, 2003. Interment followed at Perry's Cove Cemetery, Burlington. Pallbearers were David Perry, Harry Perry, Jerry Perry, Earl Perry, Roy Vokey and Ricky Antle.

HEATH, JOSEPH H.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph H. Heath announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex, Springdale on September 28, 2003 at the age of 72. Predeceased by Walter, Clara; brother Lambert; step brothers Adolphus, Johnny and Norman. Leaving to mourn sisters Dorothy (Dexter), Marie, Nellie, Alice (Ford), Joy (Jerome), Lawrence (Marilyn) and Helen (Jerry). Barbara Noble conducted the funeral service at the Beaumont United Church and Cemetery on October 1, 2003. Pallbearers were Bronson Rideout, Howard Rideout, Edwin Short, Leslie Hurley, Aubrey Burton and Alonzo Rideout.
