ROBERTS, LEONARD P.
Passed away peacefully at Flat Rock Tickle, Pilley's Island, Leonard Roberts at age 57. Mr. Roberts retired from logging in 1992. Predeceased by Willis Roberts. Left to mourn are sons Clifford (Alisa), Springdale and Clayton, Corner Brook and daughter Sylvia, Yellowknife. Also leaving to mourn sisters Sadie, Jean and Judy; brothers Bruce, Jerry, John, Tony, Mervin, Stedman and Edmund; two grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Wayne Noble conducted the funeral services at the Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Robert's Arm on Tuesday, September 24, 2002. Pallbearers were Otto Fowlow, Reg Fowlow, John Roberts, Earl Thomas, Wilf Dicks and John Robertson.

WEBBER, CHESLEY GEORGE,
Passed peacefully away September 25, 2002, Chesley George Webber at the Senior Citizens Home, Springdale at the age of 82. Predeceased by three children, four grandchildren, mother and father and one sister. Left to mourn are wife Fanny Mary; sons Garland (Debbie), Paris, ON, Carvin (Hallen), Brampton, ON, Bronson (Marthina), Little Bay, Brooklyn (Lynn), Musgrave Hr., Gary (Anne), Bramalee, Jerome (Lisa), Brampton, and Eldon, Little Bay; daughters Valma (Eldon Burt), Brampton, Donna Milley, Lewisporte, Myra (Albert Wells), Mississauga, Josephine (Gordon Colbourne), Coffee Cove, Lorraine (Keith Gilbert), Brampton, Roxanne, Brampton, Suzanne (Craig Bennett), Beachside and Suzette (Craig Young), Springdale. Also leaving to mourn sisters Lillian, Pearl and Hazel; brothers Edward and Leo; 34 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor butt conducted the funeral services at the Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Beachside on September 29, 2002. pallbearers were sons Eldon, Brooklyn, Gary, Bronson, Carvin and Jerome.

LODER, GLADYS MAY, LA SCIE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gladys May Loder, age 79, announce her passing at the BVPHC on Sunday, September 29, 2002. Predeceased by her husband Bert; parents Elijah and Harriett Dicks; sister Marjorie Foster; half sisters Irene Dicks, Violet Miller and Winnie Grimes and half brother Nicholas Dicks. Left with fond and loving memories are sons David (Madeline) and Maxwell, of La Scie and John, Bradford, ON; daughters Rosalie Fudge (Roy), St. John's, Christine Loder, La Scie and Diane McKeage (Michael), Greenwood, NS; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. George Kean conducted the funeral services at Zion United Church and Cemetery, La Scie on Wednesday, October 2, 2002. Pallbearers were Raymond Gray, Lloyd Hunt, Gordon Rice, Harvey Martin, John Hoddinott and Brian Martin.
