It is with great sadness that the family of the late Deon Robbie Lewis, age 34, announce his passing on the FPSO Sea Rose on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. Predeceased by his grandparents, William and Elizabeth Lewis; Stephen and Josephine Lewis; uncle, Don Lewis; aunts, Bridget Tobin, Theresa Lewis and Geraldine Lewis. Left with fond and loving memories are wife, Trina; son, Ryan and stepson, Tristen, all of Baie Verte; parents, William and Caroline Lewis, Fleur de Lys; brother, Sheldon Lewis (Terri-Lynn), Baie Verte; parents-in-law, Eric and Marlene Fitzgerald, Coachman’s Cove; brother-in-law, Terry Fitzgerald (Susan), Coachman’s Cove; sister-in-law, Trudy Fitzgerald (Matthew Hemmings), Fort McMurray, AB; nieces and nephews, Benjamin Lewis, Alysha, Dawson and Teralyn Fitzgerald and Bailey Hemmings; many aunts, uncles, cousins and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Father Joseph Tebsis conducted the funeral mass at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Fleur De Lys, on Monday, October 15, 2007. Pallbearers were Sheldon Lewis, Shane Silvey, Terry Fitzgerald, Jason Barker, Roddie Walsh and Jason Lewis and the crossbearer was Chris Noftall. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wimbleton’s Funeral Home, Baie Verte.

DYER, MARJORIE JESSIE
Formerly of La Scie, NL
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marjorie Dyer, age 82, announce her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Center, Baie Verte on Sunday, October 14, 2007. Predeceased by her parents, Obediah and Edith Rice; son, Baxter Dyer; sisters, Violet Foster, Maude Hewitt; brother, Victor Rice; brothers-in-law, Gordon Foster, Harry Hewitt; parents-in-law, Fredrick and Minnie Dyer; brothers-in-law, Edgar Dyer, Alfred Toms, Leander Dyer; sister-in-law, Ethel Dyer. WALSH, BERNARD PATRICK
Coachman’s Cove, NL
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernard Patrick Walsh, age 70, announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls - Windsor on Monday, October 15, 2007. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Walsh; brother, William Walsh; niece, Doreen Walsh; nephew, Timmy Walsh; sister-in-law, Gertrude Walsh. Left with fond and loving memories are wife, Mary I. “Molly”, Coachman’s Cove, NL; sons, Gregory Walsh (Elizabeth), Oshawa, ON, Kevin Walsh, Leonard Walsh (Anne-Marie), both of Barrie, ON; daughter-in-law, Nickey Walsh; grandchildren, Joseph and Nancy Walsh, Kristina, Kassandra, and Kevin Walsh, Ellen-Marie, Amy-Lynn, and Ryan Walsh. Pallbearers were Gregory Walsh, Kevin Walsh, Leonard Walsh, Gerard Walsh, Roddie Walsh, and Cecil Walsh, and the crossbearer was Darlene Blanchard. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wimbleton’s Funeral Home, Baie Verte.

JONES, ROY BRAMWELL
Passed away October 18, 2007 peacefully Roy Bramwell Jones at Valley Vista, Springdale formerly of Little Bay Islands. Predeceased by: wife, Grace; parents, Joseph and Louisa; brothers, Wilson and Lesley; and sister, Adelia Youden. Left to mourn are: son, Robert ( Victoria) of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn one sister, Marie Pelley (Pierce), three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Reverend Betty Robbins conducted funeral services at White Dove Funeral Home, Springdale on Oct. 20, 2007. Interment was at United Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by Bill Weeks and Leander Hewlett of Green Bay White Dove Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Wilson Weir, Howard Weir, Tyrone Lush, Colin Weir, David Weir and Eugene Young.

STUCKLESS, RICHARD
La Scie, NL
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Richard Stuckless, age 79, announce his passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte on Tuesday, October 23, 2007. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Mary Stuckless; brothers, Abraham and Roland Stuckless; sister, Mae Gavin; parents-in-law, Fredrick and Minnie Dyer; siblings-in-law, James Gavin, Edgar Dyer, Alfred Toms, Leander Dyer, Ethel Dyer and Marjorie Dyer. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Myrtle, La Scie, NL; daughter, Cheryl Stuckless, St. John’s, NL; granddaughter, Coalie Stuckless, La Scie, NL; and special niece, Karen Tilley (Johnney), La Scie, NL; siblings-in-law, James Dyer, Baie Verte, NL, Pearl Toms, La Scie, NL, Eileen Burton (Don), Baie Verte, NL, Bessie Dyer, La Scie, NL, and Alonzo Dyer (Mary), Baie Verte, NL, many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Reverend Jason Haggstrom conducted the funeral service at Zion United Church , La Scie, NL on Friday, October 26, 2007. Interment followed at the St. Paul ’s Anglican Cemetery , Baie Verte. Pallbearers were Douglas Foster, Gerry Domalain, John Drover, Willie Kerfont, Lewis Dyer, and Mark Foster. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wimbleton’s Funeral Home, Baie Verte.

BOYDE, ARTHUR THOMAS
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Arthur Thomas Boyde announce his passing at his home in South Brook on October 24, 2007 at the age of 61. Arthur was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church. Arthur retired from logging. Predeceased by father, Arthur Boyde Sr.; mother, Gertie Boyde; sister, Olive Thomas; and brother-in-law, Jack Heath. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Mildred Boyde, nee Saunders; sons, Jason (Jenny) of Leamington, Ontario, Maxwell of Fort Nelson, BC and Andy Fudge (Patsy) of Marystown; daughter, Sara (Bryan Taylor) of Grand Falls-Windsor. Also leaving to mourn sisters, Gladys Heath and Sadie Boyles; brothers-in-law, George Boyles and Bert Thomas; and grandkids, Kyle and Konnor Boyde, Kayla and Andrew Fudge, Kasey Smith and Kamron Boyde. Pastor Fred Randall conducted the funeral service at the Apostolic Faith Church in South Brook on October 27, 2007. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Selby Boyles, Eric Thomas, Ford Saunders, Bill Arnold, Basil Saunders and Archie Morey. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear, Jim Maidment and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Thomas Skinner, age 65, announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls - Windsor, NL on Thursday, October 25, 2007. Predeceased by his parents, James and Irene Skinner; brother, Walter; and sister, Dorothy. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Randolph “Dolly” Burton, age 83, announce his sudden passing at his home in La Scie, NL on Saturday, October 27, 2007. Predeceased by his daughter, Joan Coombs; his parents, Edwin and Gertrude Burton; siblings, Lloyd Burton and Ella Inder; parents-in-law, Eli and Alice Mitchell; siblings-in-law, Idella Burton, Mildred Burton, Raymond Noseworthy, Gordon Hamlyn, Ross Morey, Chesley Inder, Daisy Bartlett, Daisy Richards, and Manuel Martin; and nephews, Guy Burton, Milton Burton and Manuel Gray. TAYLOR, KEZIAH (KAY)
1910-2007
Passed peacefully away October 31, 2007 at Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, Kay (Keziah Foote Lake) Taylor. She was 97 years of age. Predeceased by husband, Roy (1996); grandson, Keith Dobson; brothers, Bruce, George Ewart and Newton; and sister, Bertha Martinez. Leaving to mourn daughters, Phyllis (Geoff) Seymour, Little Bay Islands; Joan (Frank) Ricketts, Bedford, NS; Margaret (Bill) Pritchett, St. John’s; Marion (Ted) Vincent, Triton; sons, Bill (Kathy), Victoria, BC; Roger (Daisy), Wabush; Jim (Beulah) Dobson, Grand Falls-Windsor; 18 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn are sisters, Dorothy Pleasance, Kenora , ON; Christie Blundon, St. John’s; Jean Bugg, Brockville, ON; Blanch Hill, Yucaipa, California; Marjorie (Bill) Townson, St. Thomas, ON; brothers, Don (Anne), Prescott, ON; Tom (Ruth), Cobbie Hill, BC; sister-in-law, Dinah, Fortune. Kay was born in Fortune, worked in St. John’s during the 1930s and then spent 20 years working for George T. Dixon Ltd. in Fortune. She came to Springdale in 1963 to marry Roy Taylor. She was very active in church and community work. After Roy ’s retirement they spent many happy years traveling and enjoying their grandchildren. Reverend Betty Robbins conducted the funeral service from Central Funeral Homes, Springdale on November 3 at Grace United Church, Springdale. Interment was at the Grace United Cemetery, Springdale. Pallbearers were Peter Dobson, Gary Broderick, Ted Vincent, Bill Pritchett, Hardy Sparkes, Job Parsons. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear, and Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes, 57 Little Bay Road, Springdale, NL. Donations in her memory may be made to the United Church Building Fund, Grace United Church, Springdale, NL, A0J 1T0.
