Gillingham, Andrew Wilson
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Andrew Wilson Gillingham
Sr. announces his passing at home in King's Point on October
20, 2005 at the age
of 72 years.Andrew was a member of the Salvation Army. Andrew retired from the
Town of King's Point in 1997. Predeceased by wife Yvonne, parents,Walter and
Julia. Left with fond and loving memories are sons, Andrew (Marilyn) of King's
Point, NL. Perry (Bride) of King's Point, NL. daughters: June Austin ( David),
of King's Point NL. Diane Knight (Selby) of Grand Falls-Windsor NL. and Shelley
Stacey of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Also leaving to mourn one sister; Dulcie Toms
of Rattling Brook, NL. and a large circle of relatives and friends. Capts Joshua
and Pauline Randell conducted the service at the Salvation Army Church King's
Point, NL., on October 23, 2005. Interment was at the Interfaith Cemetery King's
Point, NL. Pallbearers were; grandchildren, Corey Gillingham, Steve Austin, Sunni
Gillingham, Cindy Gillingham, Shelley Gillingham and Stacey Austin.
Baker, John Joseph
It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Joseph Baker announces
his passing at Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale, NL, on October
28, 2005 at the age of 86 years.John was a member of the Roman Catholic
Church, St. Patrick's. John retired from logging. Predeceased by, parents,
Joseph and Julie Ann. Left with fond and loving memories are loving wife Leona,
sons, Leonard (Sadie) of St. Patrick's,NL, Ted (Edna) of St. Patrick's, NL,
Glen (Katherine) of Nova Scotia, Jarrod of Alberta, John (Colleen) of Toronto,
On, daughters: Rose Penney (Glenn) of Labrador City, Joy Baker of Alberta,
Ann Clary (Don) of Alberta and Darlene Wiseman (Dean) of Springdale NL. Also
leaving to mourn twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one four sisters,
one brother and a large circle of relatives and friends. Fr. Eugene Morris
conducted the service at the Roman Catholic Church, St. Patrick's NL, on October
31, 2005. Interment was at the Roman Catholic Church St. Patrick's, NL. Pallbearers
were: sons, Leonard, Ted, Dean Wiseman son-in-law, Jarrod, John 2nd,
