CASSIE ISBELLA RICE It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Cassie Isbella Rice announce her passing at the Valley Vista in Springdale on November 29, 2006 at the age of 92. Cassie Isbella Rice was a member of the Salvation Army Home League. Predeceased by husband, James; son, Aubrey; daughter, Mae; two young children and one grandson, Toby Moores. Left with fond and loving memories are sons; Lloyd (Myrtle) of Labrador City; Mark of Thunder Bay; Nelson (Frances) of Triton and Dawson (Joan) of Pilley's Island; daughters; Sadie (Hayward) of Pilley's Island, Nancy (Ross) of Pilley's Island, Donna (Kevin) of Pilley's Island and Chloe (Maurice) also of Pilley's Island. Also leaving to mourn two sisters; Annie Roberts of Springdale and Delica Payne of Point Leamington; one brother, Major William Stoodley at Grand Falls-Windsor, 50 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many many great great grandchildren. Majors Larry and Phyllis Fudge conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel on December 3, 2006. Interment was at the Interfaith cemetery in Triton. Pallbearers were Shirley Rice, Cleo Roberts, Paula Rideout, Corinne Whalen, Christopher Rice and Stanley White. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear, Jim Maidment and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
