Burt, Arthur Eric
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arthur Eric Burt announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Center, Grand Falls/Windsor, NL, on November 2, 2005 at the age of 72 years. Arthur was a member of the Salvation Army Church, King's Point, NL. Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Lucy Burt and his brother Earland Burt. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Marion Burt; sons, Bruce Burt (Nina) of King's Point, NL. Paul Burt (Betty Goss) of Mount Pearl, NL; daughter, Judy Giles (Bruce) of Labrador City, NL. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren, Melanie (Roger), Krista, Stephen (Nancy), Jerry, Jonathon and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Nathan; Junior Burt (Marie) and a large circle of relatives and friends. Captains Josh and Pauline Randell conducted the service at the Salvation Army Citadel, King's Point on November 5, 2005. Interment was at the Interfaith Cemetery, King's Point. Pallbearers were grandchildren, Melanie, Krista, Stephen, Jerry, Jonathon and Aaron.  

Parsons, Uliah Mary Marie (nee Head)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Uliah Mary Marie Parsons announces her passing at the Green Bay Hospital in Springdale, NL, on November 4,2005 at the age of 71 years. Uliah was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church, South Brook. Predeceased by husband, Willis Parsons; parents, Michael and Elizabeth Head; brother Kevin and sister Hellen. Left with fond and loving memories are sons, Anthony (Margaret) of Kitchener, On; Eldon (Peggy) of South Brook, NL; Kevin (Vera) of South Brook, NL; Gordon of On; Glen (Marguerite) of Springdale, NL; Morris (Melvina) of South Brook, NL and daughter Marilyn Parsons of Fort Nelson, BC. Also leaving to mourn brother Thomas Head of South Brook, NL; sisters Bridget Head of South Brook, NL. and Margaret Bowns of Deer Lake NL; fifteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Pastors George Hilliard and William Harnum conducted the service at the Calvary Pentecostal Church in South Brook on November 7, 2005. Interment was at the Calvary Pentecostal Cemetery, South Brook. Pallbearers were: son Morris Parsons; grandsons, Mitch and Hughie Parsons, Pete Conners, Stephen James and Jimmy Boyles.

Evans, Emma Janet (nee Well's)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Emma Janet Evans announces her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex, Springdale, NL. on November 13, 2005 at the age of 91 years. Emma was a member of the United Church, Harry's Harbour, NL. Predeceased by her parents, John and Jane Wells, husbands, Gordon Gillard and Cecil Evans, sisters Mary Wells, Bessie Upwards, brothers, Pearce Wells, Stephen Wells and nephew Rod Kennedy. Left with fond and loving memories, one sister Nellie Moore. Also leaving to mourn, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. Rev. Raymond Clouter conducted the service at the United Church, Harry's Harbour on November 15, 2005. Interment was at the United Cemetery, Harry's Harbour. Pallbearers were: Carl England, Rev. Irving Hale, Nelson Freake, Ross Osmond, Greg Kennedy and Keith Kennedy.
