WILLIAMS, MELVIN ROYBURN
TRITON

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Melvin Royburn Williams, age 66, announce his passing at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor on Tuesday, November 14, 2000. Predeceased by his brother Michael. Left with fond and loving memories are: wife - Lily; sons - Guy (Gloria), Pat (Faye), Bob (Trudy), all of Triton, Hank (Myrna), St. John's and Michael (Rochelle), Triton. Also leaving to mourn: sisters - Doris Henstridge, Doreen Morgan and Kathleen Fifield; brother - Gerald Williams; 12 grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Robert Hamlyn conducted the funeral service at Maranatha Pentecostal Tabernacle, Triton on Friday, November 17, 2000. Interment was at the Triton Community Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons - Shane, Patrick, Robert, Ryan, Conn, Aaron, Jonathan and nephew Chris.

SKINNER, JOHN THOMAS (JACK)
HARBOUR ROUND

It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Thomas Skinner, age 79, announce his passing at the BVPHC, Baie Verte on November 17, 2000. Predeceased by: son - Frank; brothers - Jim, George, Mick and Bill and sister - Mary Haas. Left with fond and loving memories are: wife - Elizabeth; sons - Terrance (Rita), Victor, Gerald (Irene Payne), Ronald, Eddie (Evelyn), Brendan (Lorraine) and Wayne (Michelle); daughters - Irene Skinner (Paddy Downey) and Mary Sullivan (Raymond Jr.); daughter-in-law - Eileen; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Father Edward Brophy conducted the funeral service at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Harbour Round on November 20, 2000. Pallbearers were sons - Terrance, Ronald, Victor, Edward, Gerard, Brendan and the crossbearer was Lorne.

BOWERS, ROSALIND
MIDDLE ARM

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rosalind Bowers, age 73, announce her passing at CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor on November 18, 2000. Predeceased by; son - Eric; sisters - Daisy Prouse, Flossie England and Jessie Rideout; and brother - Wilbert Tilley. Left with fond and loving memories are: husband - Phillip; sons - Harvey (Olive), John (Gleason), Ronald (Grace), Ricky (Tracey) and Willie (Ann); daughters - Lily Dove (Pleman), Yvonne Rowsell (Edward Boone) and Patsy Saunders (Arthur); daughter-in-law - Jean Bowers, Little Bay; sisters - Marie Prouse and Clara Tulk (Ernest); brother - Charlie Newbury (Joyce); 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Wayne Hoyles conducted the funeral service at Bayview Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Middle Arm on Monday, November 20, 2000. Pallbearers were Harvey Bowers, Rob Bowers, Ivan Bowers, Willie Bowers, Miles Bowers and Art Saunders.

GOUDIE, ALMA
ROBERT'S ARM

Passed peacefully away Nov. 19, 2000, after a short illness, Alma Goudie at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor. She was 80 years of age. Predeceased by husband Amos and son Melvin. Left to mourn are; sons - Roy (Lillian) of Burlington, Ralph (Bonnie) of Robert's Arm, Bob (Shirley) of Port Anson, Junior (Phyllis) of Durell's, Harvey (Lola) of Welland, ON and Bill (Joan) of Tumbler Ridge, BC; daughters Alfreda (Bon Mitchell) of Middle Arm, Patsy (Ernie Muise) of Fort McMurray, AB, Stella (Roy Hamlyn) of St. Catherine, ON, Gwen (Lloyd Cool) of Tumbler Ridge, BC and Jayne (Wylie Earle) of Robert's Arm. Also leaving to mourn: brother Jesse Curtis (Elsie) of Springdale; 40 grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastors Noble, Lodge and Mills conducted the funeral service at the Word of Life Pentecostal Church, Robert's Arm on Thursday, November 23, 2000. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Robert's Arm. Pallbearers were grandsons Trevor Clarke, Richard Goudie, Steve Clarke, Christopher Earle, Ernie Smith and Rex Goudie.

BURTON, VIOLA MAY
LA SCIE

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Viola May Burton, age 70, announce her passing at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre, Fort McMurray, AB on Nov. 25, 2000. Predeceased by her husband - Boyce. Left with fond and loving memories are son: - Murray (Sharon), Winnipeg, MB; daughters - Thelma (Stephen) Peddle, Fort McMurray, AB, Gail (John) Burdett, Thornhill, ON and Kim (Fred) Ryan, La Scie. Also leaving to mourn are: sisters - Ruby Martin, Shoe Cove and Phyllis Toms, La Scie; brother - George Hoddinott, Shoe Cove; 11 grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. George Kean conducted the funeral service at Zion United Church and Cemetery, La Scie on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000. Pallbearers were Neta Price, Kathleen Critch, Doreen Morey, Glenda Goulding, Marilyn Billard and Ethel Critch.

EVANS, WILSON
HARRY'S HR.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilson Evans, 82, announce his passing at the Valley Vista Senior Citizen's Home, Springdale on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000. Predeceased by his wife Jean. Left with fond and loving memories are sons - Calvin (Bonnie) of Harry's Hr. and Glen (Dulcie) of Gander. Also leaving to mourn: sisters - Myrtle Hillier, Campbellton, Nina Giles (Leonard), Smith's Hr., Margaret Foster (Howard), Smith's Hr. and Belle Sharpe, Harry's Hr; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Lodge conducted the funeral service at the United Church, Harry's Hr. on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000. Interment was at the Harry's Hr. Community Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sidney Freake, Ross Osmond, Harry Knight, Nelson Freake, Eric Moores and Frank King.
