KING, LEVENIA WINNIFRED
June 26, 1924 - May 4, 2009
Passed peacefully away at the Valley Vista Senior's Complex on May
4, 2009 Levenia Winnifred King of Harry's Harbour, NL. She was predeceased
by her parents - Alfred and Naomi King, brothers - George, Francis
and John, sister - Julia Norman, sister-in-law Hettie King and brother-in-law
Maxwell Norman. One of Winnie's greatest joys was visiting her many
friends in Harry's Harbour and she just loved to drop in almost daily.
She also enjoyed working with her hands and spent many hours sewing,
knitting, crocheting and quilting. She leaves to mourn, nephews and
nieces; Judy (Sid) Thomas, Burlington, NL, Joan (John) Stead, Brantford,
ON, Daphne (Harry) Bowers, Pacquet, NL, Chesley (Jane) Norman, Brantford,
ON, Elvis (Norma) Norman, Pacquet, NL, Yvonne Norman, Pacquet, NL,
and niece-in-law, Susan Norman, Pacquet, NL, as well as a circle of
other family and friends including Fronie, Francis, Leroy and Sabrina
Gillard whom Winnie considered her family. Captain Henry Bingle conducted
the funeral service at Green Bay Funeral Home on May 6, 2009 with interment
following at the Harry's Harbour Community cemetery. Pallbearers were
friends, Wayne England, Michael England, Elmo Freake, Paul King, Lloyd
Stuckless and Vincent Verge. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to
Gail Noel and Leander Hewlett of Green Bay Funeral Home.
NELSON (ROWSELL), DEBORAH DOREEN
September 10, 1958 - May 6, 2009
On May 6, 2009, God decided to take our beautiful mother, grandmother,
best friend and loving sister to be with him and the angels in heaven.
Surrounded by her loving family and friends at the Miller Centre, Mom
passed peacefully away. Left to mourn are her three children, Sherry,
Holly and Matthew (Tara-Lee); two darling little dolls, Brooklyn and
Madison; sisters, Janet, Wands and Jackie; brothers, Otto, Lloyd, Dave
and Shawn and many supportive and devoted friends. As well, we would
also like to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude
to all the healthcare professionals and volunteers who provided exceptional
care throughout our journey. Mom has touched so many lives in so many
ways, and although she is no longer with us, we are comforted knowing
that one day we will all be together again.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nelson
Wade Baker announce his passing at his Indian Pond residence in Springdale on
May 11, 2009 at the age of 74. Ward Baker retired from Harold England
Limited. Predeceased by his first wife, Irene; second wife, Bernetta;
brother, George; father, Hardy and mother, Clara. Left with fond
and loving memories are his sons, Don (Daisy) of Springdale, Eldon
(Kennessee) of Round Lake, Ontario, Brian (Andrea) of Liverpool,
Nova Scotia, stepson, Keith (Inez) of Springdale, stepson, Lyndon
(Barbara) of Cambridge; daughters: Hilda (Wayne) of King's Point
and stepdaughter, Cavell (George) of Cambridge, Ontario. Also leaving
to mourn: brothers, Edward, Stafford and James; grandchildren, Danny,
Dustin, Candice, Kailee, Adam, Ashley, Mark, Brandon, Nicole and
great grandchildren, Daniella, Scott and Douglas. Majors Gerald and
Doreen Lacey conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army
Citadel in Springdale on May 15, 2009. Interment was at the Salvation
Army Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ron Saunders, Corey Prouse, Peter
Pelley, Scott Anstey, Bob Baker and Lyndon Tizzard. Funeral arrangements
were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral
Homes.
WINSOR, JONAH NATHAN
April 3, 1992 - May 20, 2009
Passed away tragically as the result of a motorcycle accident on May
20, 2009 Jonah Nathan Winsor, age 17, of Triton, NL. He was predeceased
by grandparents, Gordon and Avas Winsor and Abraham Boone. Left to
mourn are parents, Wade and Nancy Winsor, grandmother, Eva Boone, sisters,
Sherry Boone (Scott), Corner Brook, Donna Roberts (Rocky), Triton,
Vanda Roberts (Robbie), Grand Falls-Windsor, brother, Wade (Jessica),
Triton, also nieces and nephews, Craig, Emily, Kyle, Katie, Whitney,
LaToya, and Kaylie as well as a large circle of relatives and friends.
Pastor Jeffery Elliott conducted the funeral service on Sunday, May
24, 2009 from Maranatha Pentecostal Tabernacle. The Dorset Huskies/GBS
Wildcats formed an Honour Guard in tribute to a well loved team-mate.
Interment followed at the Triton Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers were
nieces, Katie Roberts, Emily Breen, nephews, Kyle Roberts, Craig Breen,
friends, Dylan LeDrew and Zachary Taylor. Funeral arrangements were
entrusted to Green Bay Funeral Home Springdale.

CULL, ALFREDA Margaret
1932-2009
October 14, 1932 - May 27, 2009
Alfreda was born on October 14, 1932 at Englee, NL, to Robert and Mary Jean Reid.
As a young woman she met and married Alexander Cull and they spent their early
married years together in Roddington. They later moved to Goose Bay where they
resided. Alfreda is predeceased by her husband, Alex; son, Armenious, parents,
Robert and Mary Jean Reid; brothers, Roland, Booth, Armenious; sister, Elizabeth
and son-in-law, Wilson Heath. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are
children, Wilson (Kandise) of Fort McMurray, Doris (Gary Elson) of Goose Bay,
Ruby (Jim Pittman) of Fort McMurray, Evelyn (Bernie Glavine) of Grand Falls-Windsor,
Rick (Sandy) of Barrie, ON, Lindy (Sunny) Edmonton, Marshall (Linda) of Stoney
Plain, Shirley McMullin of St. Albert. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
