It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rubert Rosswell Rideout, age 87, announce his passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Center, Baie Verte on Tuesday, May 8, 2007. Predeceased by: his wife, Daisy; parents, Abram and Phoebe Rideout and brother-in-law, Eric Mills. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lucy Maude Coish, age 88, announce her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte on Tuesday, May 8, 2007. Predeceased by her husband, Clayton Coish; daughter, Evelyn Janes; grandchildren, Dwayne, Wendy, Paul; great-grandchild, Julie; brothers, Robert Baker, George Baker; sisters, Doris Cassell, Vida White. EARLE, MAE LOUISE
Mae Louise Earle
, beloved wife of Maxwell Earle, passed away suddenly at the St. Michael's Health Centre on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at the age of 65 years. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her daughters, Elaine (Andreas), Jean (Steve), and Darlene (James), mother Rowena, 14 brothers and sisters as well as nine grandchildren. Mae was born in Newfoundland on November 7, 1941. She enjoyed camping, knitting, crafts and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service was held at Cornerstone Funeral Home, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor John Moerman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 210D 12 Street North, Lethbridge, AB, T1H 2J1 or to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317 - 10 th Street South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 2M7. BURTON, BRIDGET MARY
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Bridget Mary Burton announce her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex in Springdale on May 15, 2007 at the age of 80. Bridget was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle in South Brook. Predeceased by: parents, Ambrose and Annie Johnson; sisters, Marie and Josie and son Steadman. Left with fond and loving memories are: her husband, Elijah; sons, Roy (Golda) of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Jerry of South Brook and Fraser (Linda) of Esterhazy, Sask.; daughters, Pansy (Otto) of South Brook, Lorraine of South Brook, Roxanne (Stanley) of Harbour Round and Marilyn (Edward) of Maidstone, Sask. Also leaving to mourn: sisters, Helen, Kathleen, Margaret and Agnes; brother, John; 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and special friend Rowena (Fudge) Burton. Pastor G. HEWLETT, ANDREW GORDON
Passed away May 17, 2007, peacefully, Andrew Gordon Hewlett at Valley Vista Complex Springdale. He was 83 years of age. Predeceased by: father, George; mother, Lilly; sisters, Emily, Lucy and Monnie; and brother, Pearce. Left to mourn are: wife, Sylvia Mae; son, Pearce (wife Lucy) of Robert's Arm; daughters, Melita Rooney of Sussex, NB, Doris Hewlett of Sussex Corner, NB. Also leaving to mourn: brother, Albert (Lilly); nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a large circle of relatives and friends. Pastor S. Simms conducted funeral services at Word of Life Tabernacle in Robert's Arm on Saturday, May 19, 2007. Interment was at Pentecostal Cemetery, Robert's Arm. MORGAN, MARJORIE
Passed away May 21, 2007, peacefully, Marjorie Morgan at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor. She was 84 years of age. Predeceased by: husband, Fredrick Morgan, three infant children. Leaving to mourn: son, Nelson (wife-Doreen) of Robert's Arm, NL; daughters, Lillian (husband-Albert) of Robert's Arm, NL, Gladys (husband-Melvin) of South Brook, NL, Joyce (husband-Clarence) of Port Perry, ON, Yvonne (husband-Lloyd) of Fort McMurray, AB, Eleanor of South Brook, NL. Also leaving to mourn: sisters, Ruth Collett, Daisy Wiseman, Frances Gates, Pearl Rowsell and brother, Harold Burton, 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Shane Simms conducted funeral services at Word of Life Tabernacle in Robert's Arm on Thursday, May 24, 2007. Interment was at Pentecostal Cemetery in Robert's Arm. Predeceased by: her husband, Bernard; parents, Michael and Elizabeth Downey; parents-in-law, John T. and Josephine Drover; brothers and sisters; and daughters, Mary Fahey and Dorothy Drover; son, Cyril Drover; sons-in-law, Thomas Fahey, William Skinner, Edward Hynes and Gordon Dobbin. UPWARD, MAE MABEL ELLEN
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Mae Mabel Ellen Upward announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Care Centre in Springdale on May 28, 2007 at the age of 40. Mae was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Left with fond and loving memories are: her husband, Leon; mom, Phyllis; dad and step-mom; Simeon and Marjorie; and mother-in-law, Madeline Upward; sons, Matthew of Springdale and Jeremy of Sudbury, Ontario; daughters, Ashley of Silverdale and Pamela of Bathurst, New Brunswick. Also leaving to mourn: brothers, David, George, Dennis and Simeon Jr.; sisters, Judith, Tammy, Joyce and Kathy; two grandchildren: Brandon and Jessica, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Pastors Robert Parsons and L. G. Soper conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church on May 30, 2007. Interment was at the United Cemetery in Jackson's Cove. ROWSELL, ERNEST W.
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Ernest W. Rowsell announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on May 29, 2007 at the age of 78. Ernest Rowsell was a member of the Rattling Brook United Church. Ernest Rowsell retired from farming in Rattling Brook. Predeceased by parents, Frederick and Asenath; brothers, Robert and Reginald Rowsell. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Wilhelmina; sons, Lorne (Joan) of Springdale, Ross (Helen), and Paul of Rattling Brook; daughter, Ada (Robert) of Roberts Arm. Also leaving to mourn sister, Stella Toms of King's Point; grandchildren, Angela, Richard, Annetta, Andrea, Dylan, Justin and Natayla; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Rebecca, Jordan, Morgan, Lauren, Owen, Hunter, Nolan, Thatcher and Andrew. Reverends Raymond Clouter, Russell Lodge and Barbara Noble conducted the funeral service at the Rattling Brook United Church on June 1, 2007. Interment was at the United Cemetery. Pallbearers were Richard Rowsell, Howard Toms, Dean Rowsell, Bryce Dawe, Gerald Pelley and Earl Foster. TULK, ERNEST BRAMWELL
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Ernest Bramwell Tulk announce his passing at the Central Nfld. Health Care Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on May 31, 2007 at the age of 83. Ernest Tulk was a member of the Salvation Army. Ernest Tulk retired from fishing at the age of 65. Predeceased by: son, Wilbert and brother, Stanley. Left with fond and loving memories are: his wife, Clara; sons, Harold (Cavell) of Langdon's Cove, Eric (Audrey) of Silverdale; daughters, Evelyn Luff (Fred) of Nicky's Nose Cove, Edna Budgell (Gerald) of Langdon's Cove, Eileen Budgell (Cecil) of Nicky's Nose Cove, Elsie Batstone (Wesley) of Hamilton, Ontario, Marie Budgell (Wesley) of Langdon's Cove and Ada Matthews (Baxter) of King's Point. Also leaving to mourn: sisters, Vina Freake of Harry's Harbour and Rita Prowse of Bishop's Falls, 23 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Captains Joshua and Pauline Randall conducted the funeral service from the Salvation Army Church in Harry's Harbour on June 3, 2007. Interment was at the United Cemetery in Jackson's Cove. Pallbearers were Michael Budgell, Peter Budgell, Albert Tulk, Gregory Tulk, Jimmy Batstone and Collin MacKenzie. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

OLDFORD, STEPHEN CHESLEY
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Stephen Chesley Oldford announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on May 31, 2007 at the age of 81. Stephen Chesley Oldford was a member of St. Albans Church in Burnside, Bonavista Bay. Predeceased by his parents, Augustus and Hilda Oldford. Left with fond and loving memories are: his brother, Augustus (wife Mabel) and sister, Dorothy Rose. Also leaving to mourn Butch (Jan), Derek, Gordon (Mary), Vern (Lorna), Kim (Wade) and great nephews and nieces. Reverend Mildred Tobin conducted the funeral service at Central Funeral Homes in Springdale on June 2, 2007. Interment was at the St. Albans Anglican Church Cemetery in Burnside. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
