It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maureen Angela
Dicks,
age 50, announce her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie
Verte on Monday, May 8, 2006. Predeceased by her parents: John and Mary Saunders;
daughter, Fallon; and father-in-law, Woodrow Dicks. Left with fond and loving
memories are: husband, Jimmy; children, Francine Rowsell (Darrell Townsend),
Sooke, British Columbia, and Felicia Rowsell, Corner Brook; grandchildren,
Janzen, Isaiah and Jaime-Lee; sisters, Muriel (Bobby), Spain, Kathleen Edden,
England, Janice Mitchell (Lewis), Burlington; brothers, Thomas Saunders,
Elliott Lake, Ontario and Francis Saunders, England; mother-in-law, Olive
Dicks, Ming's Bight; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Barry Dicks (Janice),
Baie Verte, Dale Dicks (Carrie), Moncton, New Brunswick, Cecil Dicks (Roxanne),
Ming's Bight, Juanita Burton, Toronto, Ontario, Peggy Sacrey (Benny), Ming's
Bight; many nieces and nephews, and a large circle of other relatives and
friends. Reverend George Stockley conducted the funeral service at Faith
Pentecostal Church, Burlington on Thursday, May 11, 2006. Interment followed
at Bayview United Cemetery, Smith's Harbour. Pallbearers were Felicia Rowsell,
Francine Rowsell, Janice Mitchell, Audrey Bartlett, Bev Penney, Jackie Knight,
Sandra Shiner and Sheila Young.
CLARKE, GORDON
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Clarke, aged 71,
announces his passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Center, Baie Verte
on Wednesday, May 10, 2006. Predeceased by: father, Robert Clarke; mother,
Flora Ann Clarke-King; sister, Lillian Rice; brothers-in-law, Allan Regular,
Woodrow Dicks and Johnny Rice; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Clarke. Left with
fond and loving memories are: his wife, Ella; children, Taffie Dicks (Truman)
of Ming's Bight, Grace Greenham (Morris), Evelina Norman (Wayne), all of
Pacquet, Flora Regular (Vaden), Brenda Sacrey (Dyson), Sid (Debbie), all
of Ming's Bight, Colleen Perry (Kenneth Peterson) of Timmons, Ontario, Tim
(Carla) of Ming's Bight; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers
and sisters, Dora Regular, Randolph Clarke, Roland Clarke (Olive), Olive
Dicks; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Captains David
and Wavey Chaulk conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church
and Cemetery, Ming's Bight on Saturday, May 13, 2006. Pallbearers were Sid
Clarke, Tim Clarke, Vaden Regular, Truman Dicks, Wayne Norman, and Morris
Greenham.
WLLIAMS, HILDA W.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hilda W. Williams announces
her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex in Springdale on May
22, 2006 at the age of 88 years. Hilda was a member of the Maranatha
Pentecostal Church, Triton, NL.
Predeceased by her 1st husband Clifford Hibbs, 2nd husband
D.J. Williams, son John; 2 grand sons, 2 grand daughters, 2 sisters Una and Elsie.

Pastors Glen and Enid Chaulk conducted the funeral service from the Maranatha
Pentecostal Church in Triton on May 25, 2006. Interment was at the Interfaith
Cemetery, Jim's Cove, Triton.
Pallbearers were the grandchildren, Dino Winsor, Jeff Hibbs, Boyd Andrews, Perry
Roberts, Jeff Winsor, Clyde Roberts and Roxanne Roberts.
TIZZARD, MALCOLM JOHN (BRADLEY)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Malcolm John (Bradley)
Tizzard announces his sudden passing in Springdale on May
28, 2006 at the age
of 72 years. Malcolm was a member of the Salvation Army Church,
Springdale. Malcolm retired from the R.C.M.P as a jail guard and semi retired
from his janitorial business. Predeceased by mother Minnie Burton, father Archibald;
sisters, Rose, Louis; brothers, William, Edward and Lloyd.
Left with fond and loving memories are wife Mavis(nee Oake), sons, David (Robin)
of Cambridge, Ont. Raymond (Tammy) of Thompson, Man. Daughters, Judy
(Tony) of Springdale, Maxine (Don) of Springdale, Madina (David) of Westport,
NL. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren, Lori, Nicole, Christopher, Caitlyn,

Army Citadel in Springdale on June 1, 2006. Interment was at the Salvation
Army Cemetery, Springdale.

ROBERTS, EUGENE DONALD
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eugene Donald
Roberts announces his passing at the Central Nfld. Regional Health Care Centre in
Grand Falls/Windsor on May 29, 2006 at the age of 63 years.
Eugene was a member of the Salvation Army Church, Triton, NL.

NL. Also leaving to mourn two brothers, Alvin (Ruby) of Twillingate, NL Roy

Citadel in Triton on May 31, 2006. Interment was at the Evergreen Interfaith
Cemetery, Heads Harbour, Triton.

years. Gerald was a

was at the Interfaith Cemetery, Harry's Harbour. Pallbearers sons and son
in law and they were David, Tony, Jimmy, Paul, Eddy and Brian. Honourary
pallbearer was brother Ronald Gillard.
