REGULAR, NATHAN KOANDA
It is with tremendous sadness that the family of the late Nathan Koanda Regular, age 27, announce his tragic passing at the Greenhills Fording Coal Mine, Elkford, BC on Thursday, May 1, 2003. Predeceased by Colleen's father and their son's namesake Alvin Sacrey. Nathan is survived by his beloved wife Colleen (nee Sacrey) and their 19-month old son Alvin; parents Dennis and Kathleen Regular; sister and brother-in-law Pamela and Stephen Chipp; Colleen's mother and step-father Ena and Ross Young as well as many other relatives and friends in both Newfoundland and Elk Valley, British Columbia. Captains Chris and Claudette Pilgrim conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Woodstock on Wednesday, May 7, 2003. Pallbearers were Stephen Chipp, Dyson Regular, Barry Regular, Dwayne Regular, Merle Norman and Carson Greenham.

RICE, LEONARD B.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leonard B. Rice announce his passing at the Valley Vista Home, Springdale on May 5, 2003 at the age of 86. Leonard was a member of the Salvation Army and retired from the Dept. of Forestry, Springdale. Predeceased by wife Marie; son hardy; father and mother Sidney and Emma; brother Selby and sister Olive. Left with fond and loving memories are Pearl, son Woodrow (Joan), Pilley's Island; daughters Joan Boyde (Rex, deceased), Labrador City and Joy Heath (Ford), Robert's Arm. Also leaving to mourn mabel, Bramwell, Marie and William; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Captains Ed and Rose Cannings conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church and Cemetery on May 8, 2003. Pallbearers were Brian Rice, Dennis Boyde, Bradley Heath, Charlie Jerrett, Corbin Rice and Don Maye.

OXFORD, CLAYTON
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clayton Oxford announce his passing at the GBMC, Springdale on May 6, 2003 at the age of 75. Clayton was a member of the Salvation Army and retired from the Federal Dept. of Fisheries and Oceans. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Gladys; sons Clifford (Darlene), Springdale, Jerry (Karen), St John's, Jimmy, Springdale and Michael, Banff, AB; daughter Maureen (Glenn), Fort McMurry, AB; grandchildren William and Cole. Also leaving to mourn sister Hazel Grimes and brothers Theophilias and Wincel. Major Butt conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church and Cemetery on May 9, 2003. Pallbearers were Roy Oxford, Wincel Oxford, Clyde Oxford, Alfred Milley, Gerald Milley and Robert Chatman.

MOREY, BASIL M.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Basil M. Morey announce his passing at the Springdale Hospital on May 11, 2003 at the age of 83. Basil was a member of the Salvation Army and retired from Eastern Exploration. Predeceased by mother and father; brother Eric; sister Marie Patey and son Gary. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Madeline; sons Guy (Geraldine), Springdale, Ivan, Toronto, Ford (Joan), Springdale, Ron, Toronto, Andy (Gaye), Toronto, Mike, Toronto and Ewen, Toronto; daughters Diane (Calvin), Springdale, Kay (Fern), Toronto, Roxanne (Paul), Toronto, Nancy and Connie (Roy), Vancouver and Peggy, Springdale. Also leaving to mourn 19 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Major Butt conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church and Cemetery on May 14, 2003 Pallbearers were Ford Morey, Andy Morey, Rocky Morey, Gary Clarke, Jerdon Reid and Edward Oxford.

MITCHELL, AUBREY MAURICE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Aubrey Maurice Mitchell, age 33, announce his tragic passing at his residence on Sunday, May 11, 2003. Predeceased by mother Masie. Left with fond and loving memories are spouse Betty; daughters Candace Noble and Heidi Bowers; father Lorne Mitchell (Gleason); sister Pamela brothers Robert (Romaine) and Morley; nieces Tiffany, Tara and Tegan; nephew Maurice; in-laws Cyril and Joyce Noble, Molly Mitchell (James), Guy Noble (Debbie), Willie Noble (Rowena), Gladys Moores (Mike)and Neta Dicks (Eddie); many aunts and uncles and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Leighton Foster conducted the funeral service at the Bayview Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Middle Arm on Thursday, May 15, 2003. Pallbearers were Lorne Mitchell, Pamela Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, Morley Mitchell, Chad Mitchell and Mike Mitchell.

ANDREWS, CLAUDE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Claude Andrews announce his passing at his home in King's Point on May 12 at the age of 68. Claude was a member of the Pentecostal Church and retired from fishing. Predeceased by father and mother John and Pearl Andrews. Left with fond and loving memories are Neta; son Tyson (Kimberly), King's Point; daughter Tracy (Craig Thomas), King's Point. Also leaving to mourn granddaughter Victoria, grandson Timothy; siblings Masie (Cecil), Bert (Patricia), Rowena, Harvey (Ruby), Ruby (George), Shirley (Merlin), Verna (Wallace), Henry (Bride) and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Soper conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church on May 15, 2003. Interment was at the Interfaith Cemetery Pallbearers were Sidney Payne, Melvin Pinksen, Henry Andrews, Boyd Andrews, Arch Newbury and Gerald Budgell.

WINSOR, GILBERT I.
Gilbert I. Winsor
of Triton passed away May 12, 2003 at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor at the age of 54 years. He was a member of the Salvation Army Men's Fellowship, Triton. Predeceased by father Ralph. Left to mourn are wife Georgina; daughters Patricia (Bernard Roberts), Triton, Yvette (Rob Penney), Triton and Kenelda (Andy Simms), Triton; mother Lottie Winsor, Triton; five sisters Karen Squires, Lovett Lewis, Jacqueline Hollett, Roseanne Fraser and Myra Winsor; three brothers Jack, Frank and Kevin and four grandchildren Christopher, Conrad, Clinton and Chase. Capt. Rex Colbourne conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Triton on May 15, 2003

IVANY (OAKE). MARJORIE MAY
Passed away May 16, 2003 Marjorie May Ivany (Oake) at the CRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor in her 79th year. Predeceased by her first husband Bennett Oake; brother Bromwell Boyde and son Brian. Left to mourn are husband Silas Ivany; sons Roy (Averil), Burin, Bromwell (Carmie), Nova Scotia and Neil (Darlene, Burin; daughters Sophie (John), Robert's Arm, Donna (Randy), Triton and Marjorie (Cluny), Triton; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the Salvation Army, Pilley's Island on Sunday, May 18, 2003. Interment was at the S.A. Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gerald Anthony, Cyril Tizzard, Wycliffe Tizzard, Gerald Whalen, Wycliffe Boyde and Brad Anthony

HAMLYN, AZRELLA
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Azrella Hamlyn announce his passing at the CNRHC, Grand falls-Windsor on May 17, 2003 at the age of 80 years. Azrella was a member of AOTS, La Scie and retired from employment with the American Military. Predeceased by his wife Nerissa, parents and three brothers. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Peter Hamlyn (Dianne), Doyles, Larry Burton (Lucy), Triton and Hedley Burton (Olive); daughters Bonnie Rowsell (Roy), Springdale and Betty Prole (Edward), Nipper's Hr. Also leaving to mourn sisters Margaret and Clara and brother Herbert. Rev. G. Kean conducted the funeral service at Zion United Church, La Scie. Interment was at the United Cemetery, La Scie. Pallbearers were members of the AOTS.

BURTON, ENOS D.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Enos D. Burton announce his passing at the Valley Vista, Springdale on May 18, 2003 at the age of 80 years. Enos was a member of the Salvation Army and retired from fishing and logging. Predeceased by first wife Doreen; son Fabian; grandson Shawn; granddaughter Amanda and son-in-law Wayne Fudge. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Rowena sons Adolphus (Olive), Springdale, Wilfred (Joyce), Pickering, ON, Bruce (Emeline), Scarborough, ON, Cyril (Sadie), Scarborough, ON, Derek (Tammy), Penetang, ON, and Elvis (Shelia), Newmarket, ON; daughters Marie (Kevin), Clarenville. Eveline (Ken), Sheppardville, Geraldine (Wallace), Ajax, ON, Ruby, Springdale, Fern (Allen), Bancroft, ON and Lisa (Shan), South Brook; 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Major Gary Burr conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army on May 21, 2003. Interment was at the Robert's Arm Cemetery. Pallbearers were Shan Barrett, Scott Anstey, Harold Burton, Kenneth Wright, Stephen Dicks and Grayson Rice.

LEWIS, BEATRICE MARY
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Beatrice Mary Lewis, age 70, announce her passing at the BVPHC on Tuesday, May 20, 2003. Predeceased by her husband Victor; infant daughter Mary Amelda; parents Jack and Bridget Ford and brothers Jack and Charles Ford. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Wayne (Ann-Marie), Calgary, AB, John (Janice), Beaverton, ON, Ernie, St John's,Michael (Kay), Middle Sackville, NS and Barry (Edna), Fort McMurray, AB; daughters Victoria Lewis, Baie Verte, Laura Doucette (Nat), Lower Sackville, NS, Mary-Ellen Downey (Elias), Fort McMurray, AB, Carmen Lewis, Fleur De Lys, Bonnie Spurrell, Leduc, AB, and Julia Parsons (Vince), Fort McMurray, AB; brothers Jerry Ford (Joan), Fleur De Lys, Clarence Ford (Margurite), Holyrood, Tom Ford, Tumbler ridge, BC, Harold Ford, Logan Lake, BC, Paul, Toronto, ON and sister Mary Ellen Mitchell, Lakefield, ON; sisters-in-law Madeline Downey, Peggy Ford Morin, Mary Ford and Elizabeth Ann Ford; 27 grandchildren; her dear and special friends at the BVPHC Residential Unit and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Father Tom Duffenais conducted the funeral service at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Fleur DE Lys on Saturday, May 24, 2003. Pallbearers were sons Wayne, Lewis, Ernie Lewis, Mike John; grandsons Brandon, and Anthony and the crossbearer was Granddaughter Leanna Lewis.

RIDEOUT, FREDERICK
Passed peacefully away on May 24, 2003, Frederick Rideout, King's point at 80 years of age. Predeceased by daughter Fanny; son Frederick; parents Roland and Fanny Rideout; five brothers Stanley, John, James, Reginald and Herbert and two sisters Irene and Sophie. Left to mourn are wife Melrose; sons Sidney (Lillian), Calvin (Nancy) and Pleaman (Catherine) all of King's Point and daughter Chloe (Eugene), King's Point. Also leaving to mourn sisters Mildred (Sidney) Bartlett and Elizabeth (Garfield) Noseworthy; brother Bert (Marcella) Rideout; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and two special children he accepted as his own great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Major Young and Pastor Soper conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army, King's Point on Monday, May 26, 2003. Interment was at the Interfaith Cemetery, King's Point. Pallbearers were Rayfield Rideout, Dawson Rideout, Tony Dawe, Jim Rowsell. Allan Warford and Leamon Squires.
