PARDY, MAXWELL LEWIS,
WILD COVE

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxwell Lewis Pardy, age 73, announce his passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre on Friday, May 3, 2002. Predeceased by his parents Abraham and Elizabeth; brothers Wilson, Albert, Garland and Gordon and sisters Gladys, Pearl, Mary, Violet and Agnes. Left with fond and loving memories are his son Maxwell (Cindy), St. John, NB; daughters Maxine Blais (Clement), Chelmsford, ON and Lisa Pardy, St. John's. Also leaving to mourn brother Claude (Orneva); sister Hazel Sparks; four grandchildren Joshua, Denika, Kaitlyn and Jocelyn; his dear and special friends at the Dorset Manor and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Marvin Freake conducted the funeral service at Glad Tidings pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Wild Cove on Monday, May 6, 2002.
Pallbearers were Maxwell Pardy, Maxine Clement, Lisa Pardy, Claude Pardy, Kim Sacrey and Brenda Pinksen.

VINCENT, BRAMWELL GARLAND
Passed away at his home in Triton on Saturday, May 4, 2002, age 78, Bramwell Garland Vincent. Bram was the son of the late Norman and Janet Vincent. He leaves to mourn his devoted wife Alma (nee Heath) of 52 years; sons James (Doreen), Triton; Colin (Judy), Springdale; Kevin (Marie), Hillview; Ted (Marion), Triton; Jerome (Connie), Triton; Wallace (Barbara), Milton, ON and Ian (Julie), London, ON. Also leaving to mourn brothers Ron, Springdale, Gordon (Phyllis), Corner Brook, Otto (Celia), Triton and Harvey (Shirley) Robert's Arm; brother-in-law Gordon (Meryl). Springdale; sister-in-law Marie, Mount Pearl; grandchildren Lee, Jordan, Amy, Lynette, Allison, Laura, William and Debbie as well as a large number of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Captain Rex Colbourne at the Salvation Army, Triton on May 7, 2002. Interment was at the Interfaith Cemetery, Triton.

GOULD, WILLIAM JOHN
BAIE VERTE

It is with great sadness that the family of the late William John Gould, age 88, announce his passing at The Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre on Wednesday, May 8, 2002. Predeceased by his parents, John and Rosanna Gould; brothers Raymond, Arthur, Edmond and Les. Left with fond and loving memories are his dear and special friends, Jack and Madeline Shelly and family with whom he resided after coming to Baie Verte. Also leaving to mourn eight nieces, four nephews, the Baie Verte Manor residents and staff where he resided for the past six years and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Father Edward brophy conducted the funeral mass at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Baie Verte on Friday, May 10, 2002. Pallbearers were Legionaries, Malcolm Norman, Lorne Hynes, Ewen Gillingham, Leo O'Rielly, Neil Bursey, Eric Pennell and the crossbearer was Joe Gillis.

WINSOR, ANNIE FLORANCE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Florance Winsor announce her passing at the Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook on May 10, 2002 at the age of 95. Annie was a member of the United Church. Predeceased by her husband Harris Winsor. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Ford (Irene), Stephenville, Garland (Eileen), St. John's, Howard (Sadie), Little Bay, James (Norma), Whitbourne and Maxwell (Shirley), Goose Bay. Also leaving to mourn 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and a number of relatives and friends. Rev. Davis conducted the funeral service at the Grace United Church on May 13, 2002. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ford Winsor, Garland Winsor, Howard Winsor, james Winsor, Maxwell Winsor and Wayne Winsor.

WELSHMAN, IRENE
SNOOK'S ARM

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Irene Welshman, age 90, announce her passing at the BVPHC on Thursday, May 16, 2002. Predeceased by her husband Wilfred and parents James and Dolly Austin. Left with fond and loving memories are her son Ralph, Snook's Arm; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces; her dear and special friends at the Baie Verte Manor and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Sheldon LeGrow conducted the funeral service at the Baie Verte Peninsula Funeral Home on Sunday, May 19, 2002. Interment followed at Snook's Arm United Church Cemetery.

JACOBS, STELLA CHARLOTTE
WESTPORT

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stella Charlotte Jacobs, age 68, announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor on Sunday, May 19, 2002. Predeceased by her parents Archibald and Ruth Pittman and sister Gladys Combdon. Left with fond and loving memories are husband Sefton; son Kevin (Lori), Waterloo, ON; daughter Doreen Wheeler (Jim), Grand falls-Windsor and grandchildren Michael, Joey and Madison. Also leaving to mourn are brothers Randolph Pittman (Daisy) and Lester Pittman (Loraine); step-brother Edmond Pittman (Carmen) and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Sandra Voelker-Wack conducted the funeral service at St. Peter's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Westport on Wednesday, May 22, 2002. Pallbearers were Reginald Combdon, Bruce Pittman, Gordon Gale, James Jacobs, Gordon Jacobs and Allan Jacobs.

ANDREWS, DAISY
LA SCIE

Passed peacefully away on May 22, 2002, Daisy Andrews at the BVPHC, Baie Verte. She was 73 years and six month of age. Mrs. Andrews was a member of the Bethel Pentecostal Church. Predeceased by her parents; four sisters and one brother. Left to mourn are husband Ross and son David (Trula), La Scie. Also leaving to mourn sister Maude Saunders, La Scie; brothers Allan Andrews (Pearl), Deer Lake. Lawrence Andrews (Shirley), St. Lunaire and Everett Andrews (Hazel), Botwood and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Combdon conducted the funeral service at Bethel Pentecostal Church, La Scie on Saturday, May 25, 2002. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Andrews, Edward Andrews, Wayne Andrews, Eric Andrews, Raymond Curtis and Clyde Saunders

SCOTT, EDWARD
Passed away May 23, 2002, Edward Scott, at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's in the arms of his wife. Cherished dad of Tony (Kelly), Allan (Ellen), Ken (Cathy) and proud papa of Laurel, David, Conner, Sarah, Nicholas, Samantha and Mitchell. Predeceased by his infant grandson John. Eddie will be returned to Scotland for burial.

GILLINGHAM, YVONNE
KING'S POINT

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Yvonne Gillingham announce her passing at the Springdale Hospital on May 24, 2002 at the age of 66 years. Yvonne retired from cooking at Indian River Motel. Predeceased by her parents Daisy and Allen Newbury; brother Chesley and sister Geraldine Rideout. Left with fond and loving memories are husband Andrew Gillingham Sr.; sons Andrew Jr. (Marilyn), King's Point and Perry ((Bride), King's Point; daughters June Austin (David), King's Point, Diane Knight (Selby), Grand Falls-Windsor and Shelly Stacey of Dartmouth, NS. Also leaving to mourn Blanche Giles, Oswald Newbury (Motee). Ada Foster (Hedley) and Gary Newbury (Christine); 15 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Capt. R. Young conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army on May 26. 2002. Interment was at the Interfaith Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandchildren Corey Gillingham, Michael Austin, Stephen Austin, Shelley Gillingham, Cindy Gillingham and Stacey Austin.
