Verte, NL on Monday, March 1, 2010. Predeceased by her husband
- William Parsons; parents - Hedley & Janet Roberts; brother - Billy
Roberts; sister-in-law Jeanette Roberts. Left with fond and loving memories

Roy Parsons (Jean), Labrador City, NL, and Darlene Hutchings (Tom), Baie
Verte, NL; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren;
siblings - Cleveland Roberts, Bonne Bay, NL, Winnifred Goosney (James), Stephenville,
NL; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken
place. A memorial service will take place from Bethany United Church, Baie
Verte at a later date. Inurnment will follow at Bethany United Cemetery,
Baie Verte. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted
or donations may be made to the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre - Therapeutic

ARMSTRONG, HAROLD JOSEPH
Sept. 16, 1919 - Mar. 1, 2010
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Joseph
Armstrong of Little Bay announces his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale
on March 1, 2010 at the age if 90. He leaves to mourn with many treasured memories;
his sons: Bruce (dale), Rick (Jackie) and David (Dianne); step-daughter: Ruth
Saunders; grandchildren: Jonathon, Mark, Kenny, Justine, Scott, Sandi and Adrian;
step grandchildren: Grace, Gary, Peter, Robin, Marilyn, Delores, Paul and Corey;
sister: Alice Noseworthy; sisters-in-law: Margaret Armstrong, Lollie Armstrong,
Loretta Armstrong and Hazel Baker; brother-in-law: Roland (Barbara) Whittle,
many nephews, nieces and friends that thought the world of him. Predeceased
by: wife Maude (nee Whittle) and son Danny and also wife Violet (Nee: Hull);
step-daughters: Carol and Betty; brothers: Philip, Mike, Jack, Bill, Richard,
Jim, Joe, Bob and Frank; sister: Agnes; parents: Thomas and Ellen Armstrong;
brothers-in-law: Norbert Russell and Gerard Noseworthy; sister-in-law: Nellie
Armstrong. Dad lived a full life in spite of much sorrow and sickness. His
strength and sheer determination right to the end has been and will continue
to be an inspiration to all of us. A very sincere thank you to all of the staff
of the Valley Vista who took such good care of him in his last few months.
Father Eugene Morris conducted the funeral service at the Sacred Heart Parish
in St. Patrick's on Sunday, March 7, 2010. Interment was at the Sacred Heart
Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bruce Armstrong, Rick Armstrong, David Armstrong,
Jonathon Armstrong, Kenny Armstrong and Scott Armstrong. Ushers were Mike Armstrong
and Pat Armstrong. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sterling Decker, age 88,
announce his sudden passing at the Valley Vista Senior Citizens Complex,
Springdale, NL on Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Predeceased by his parents -

WARD, ERIC DOUGLAS
1931-2010
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eric Douglas Ward announces
his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on March
5, 2010 at the age of 78. Eric was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 47,
Labrador City. Eric retired from Iron Ore Company of Canada, Labrador City.
Predeceased by his father, George Ward; mother, Elsie Cave; step-father, Jessie
Cave; brother, Gordon Cave and sisters, Bertha Lane and Barbara Ward. Left
with fond and loving memories are his wife, Joyce; son, Douglas of Victoria,
B.C. and daughters: Loretta Arsenault (Rene) of Three Rivers, Quebec and Dianne
Bailey (Rick) of Brighton. Also leaving to mourn brothers: Jim Cave (Rosalind),
Ross Cave (Norma); sisters: Lena Cave and Violet Thomas (Alfred); three grandchildren:
Pat, Craig and Katleen; three great grandchildren: Dylan, Lea and Nathan; step-brother,
George Cave (Winnie); step-sister, Meta Dawe, as well as a large circle of

service at the Salvation Army Citadel in Triton on March 9, 2010. Interment
was at the Interfaith Cemetery in Brighton. Pallbearers were Rick Bailey, Ambrose

1932-2010
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harvey Vincent announces
his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on March
6, 2010 at the age of 77. Harvey was a member of the Salvation Army Corps in Robert's
Arm. Harvey retired from Abitibi Price. Predeceased by infant son, Paul; parents,
Norman and Janet Vincent and brothers, Ronald and Bramwell. Left with fond
and loving memories are his wife, Shirley; sons: Hank (Trudy) of Robert's Arm,
Travis (Paula) of Robert's Arm, Conn (Paulette) of Robert's Arm; daughter:
Beverly (Bruce Fudge) of Robert's Arm, Bonnie (Gilbert Fudge) of Grand Falls,
Jewel (Dean Short) of Sussex, N.B., Michele (Dennis Fifield) of Sussex, N.B.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Otto Pearce Rice announces
his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on March
7, 2010 at the age of 80. Otto was a member of the Salvation Army Corps in Pilley's
Island. Predeceased by his wife, Daphne Rice. Left with fond and loving memories
are his sons: Cordswell (Angela) of Happy Valley, Goode Bay and Sherman (Deborah)
of Mt. Pearl; daughter JoAnn of Pilley's Island. Also leaving to mourn brothers:

June 3, 1930-March 17, 2010
It is with sadness that the family of the late Julia Edith Paddock, Robert's
arm announce her passing on March 17, 2010, at the age of 79. She was born
June 3, 1930 to Mack and Susanna Ryan, Pilley's Island. She married Samuel
Lloyd Paddock on December 28, 1956 and together they raised eight children.
Her career of choice was housewife and mother. Sadly, she was predeceased by
son Glosson (1964) and husband Lloyd (2001). She leaves to mourn seven children
- four sons Roland (Patricia) Thunder Bay, ON; Raymond (Tina), Hamilton, ON;
Arlanda (Lin, Cdr Canadian Navy) Halifax, NS; Stanley James, Robert's Arm,
NL; three daughters Iris Paddock Delmore, Nashua, NH; Avis (Dwight) Moores,
Omemee, ON; and Lorraine (Jerdon) Hewlett, Barrie, ON; 15 grandchildren - Braden,
Ian, Alexander, Lelani Delmore; Joanne Hart (Moores), Jeffrey Moores; Dale,
Josie, Melissa Paddock; Glosson, Julia, Samuel, Emily Paddock; Jordon, Matthew
Hewlett; also great-grandchildren - Julia Hart and Sheldon Hewlett; sister
Myrtle, brother Donald (Pearl) Ryan; sisters-in-law Clemmie and Stella Ryan;
brother-in-law Albert (Gladys) Paddock; as well as a large circle of other

the Salvation army Citadel, Robert's Arm with interment following at the Salvation

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roland Jethro
Heath announces
his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on March
26, 2010 at the age of 94. Roland Heath was a member of the Beaumont United Church.
Roland Heath retired from Long Island Co-op. Predeceased by his parents and
his three brothers. Left with fond and loving memories are his nieces and nephews
and many other relatives and friends. Minister Joan Brinston conducted the
funeral service from the United Church in Beaumont on March 29, 2010. Interment
was at the United Church Cemetery in Beaumont. Pallbearers were Leslie Hurley,
Clyde Croucher, Scott Slade, Hedley Croucher, Gilbert Burton and Randolph Burton.
