CAMPBELL, PEARCE
Passed away March 15, 2008 after a lengthy illness Pearce
Campbell at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s
. He was 61. Mr. Campbell retired from Mining and Lumber Woods.
Predeceased by parents – John and Blanche Campbell. Left
to mourn are wife – Patricia, son – Robert (wife,
Jill) of Ontario , daughters – Zoe (husband, Rodney) of
Ontario , Kitty of Ontario, Vicki (husband, Archie) of Newfoundland
. Also leaving to mourn sisters – Rose (Rex), Pauline,
Phyllis (Morris), Kathy (Earl), Sue (Dean). 5 grandchildren – Alexander,
Mark, Kristina, Shelby, Morgan. Captains Morgan and Lisa Hillier
conducted funeral services at the Salvation Army Church Robert’s
Arm on Thursday, March 20, 2008. Interment was at the Salvation
Army Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by David Chaulk and

BUDGELL, IVY
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Ivy
Beatrice Budgell announce her passing at the Central
Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on March
16, 2008 at the age of 66. Ivy was a resident of the
Springdale Retirement Centre. Ivy was once a member of the South
Brook Women’s Missions. Predeceased by husband – Claude
Budgell, son – Reginald Budgell and mother Ida Locke. Left
with fond and loving memories are her son – Kenneth (Donna)
of South Brook; three daughters – Doreen of Kitchener,
Brenda of Kitchener and Naomi of La Scie. Also leaving to mourn
six sisters, six brothers, eight grand children and four great-grandchildren.
Pastor George Hilliard conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal
Church in South Brook on March 20, 2008. Interment was at the
Pentecostal Cemetery in South Brook. Pallbearers were – Karen
Chipp, Rowella Budgell, Eileen Anstey, Eileen Budgell, Larissa

HOLLETT, SIDNEY RAYMOND
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Sidney
Raymond Hollett announce his passing at the Central
Newfoundland Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on March
16, 2008 at the age of 61. Sidney was a member of the
Springdale Pentecostal Church and Secretary of the Springdale
Men’s Ministries. Sidney took an early retirement due to
his illness from Tony’s Décor in Springdale . Left
with fond and loving memories are his wife – Cavell; parents – Raymond
Hollett, born in North Harbour and Hope Hollett (Batstone) born
in Jackson’s Cove; two sons – Rick Hollett (Donna)

Shaundelle Cassell (Leroy) of Calgary, Shauna Hollett of Springdale

Seniors Home in Springdale on March 18, 2008 at
the age of 82. Palma was a member of the Salvation Army Springdale
Corps. Predeceased by parents – Robert and Maryann Bartlett;
sisters – Ettie, Mina, Emma; brothers – Ralph, Wilfred,
Gordon and granddaughter Kelly Noble. Left with fond and loving
memories are her husband – Malcolm; five sons – Bruce

, Nova Scotia , Gary (Maxine) of St. John’s, Shannon (Lorraine)

Tucker announce his passing at the Northern Lights Health
Care Centre, Fort McMurray , Sunday, March 23, 2008 at
the age of 73. Predeceased by parents, Gordon and Evelyn Tucker
and brother, Lloyd in infancy. Left to mourn with fond and loving

(Lisa) of St. John’s, Dwayne (Shannon) and Rod (Monique),
both of Fort McMurray; daughters, Elaine (Steve) Hibbs of Charlottetown,

PITTMAN, HAROLD
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Harold
Pittman announce his passing
at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on March
27, 2008 at the age of 74. Harold was a member of St.
Luke’s Anglican Church. Harold retired from fishing at
his home in Harbour Deep. Predeceased by parents Andrew and Ellen
(Newman) Pittman. Left with fond and loving memories are his
loving wife Alma; son Walter of Montreal and his daughter Ada
(Scott) of Jackson’s Arm; also leaving to mourn grandchildren
Christopher, Morgan and AJ; sister Grace, and a large circle
of relatives and friends. Reverend Hannah Dicks conducted the
funeral service at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in
Jackson’s Arm on March 31, 2007. Interment was at the St.
Bartholomew’s Anglican Church cemetery. Pallbearers were
his grandsons Christopher and Morgan; friend Rex Leyte; nephews
Bruce Cassell and Ramsay Cassell; and brother-in-law Cyril Pittman.

HAMILTON, DENNIS HARRY

Harry Hamilton announce his passing at the Albian Sands
Expansion Job site in Fort McMurray, Alberta on March
29, 2008 at the age of 51. Predeceased by parents Mabel
and Walter and brothers Fred and Edward. Left with fond and loving
memories are his sisters: Bernice (Bud) James of Gander, Jean
(Keith) Dally of Springdale, Lorraine Thomas of Springdale, Sandra
(Walter) Joy of Springdale and Dianne (Doug) Hazlett of Edmonton;
brothers, Bill (Pansy) of Springdale, Greg (Judy) of Springdale;
half brothers Wilson and Clayton. Also leaving to mourn with
happy thoughts are his aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins

funeral service at the Pentecostal Church in Springdale on Saturday,
April 5, 2008. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers
were Francis Hull, Doug Toms, Dennis Mercer, Lloyd Critch, Gilbert
Saunders and Danny Parsons. Funeral arrangements were entrusted
to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
A special thank you to J.V. Drivers management of the Albian
Sands Expansion Site for the tremendous emotional support shown
to family members, especially Greg and Tyler; and helped in getting
Dennis and family members home from Alberta. Donations may be
made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
HEATH, SEBINA MAE
Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness, Sebina
Mae Heath in her 81st year, at the Saint
John Regional Hospital, in New Brunswick. Mrs. Sabina “Mae” (Langford)
Heath, wife of Malcolm Heath, of St. George NB, went
home to be with her Lord on March 29, 2008.
She was born in Brown’s Cove, NL, May 13, 1926. She is
survived by her husband, Malcolm, three sons, George, of St.
George, NB, Angus (Kay) of Black’s Harbour NB, and John
(Charlene) of Fort McMurray. Eight daughters, Nellie Rice (Wilfred)
of Mount Albert ON, Alice Pittman (Arthur) of Keswick Ridge NB,
Isabelle Stuckless (Alan) of Yarmouth NS, Eileen Gale (Eric)
of Corner Brook, NL, Violet Regular (Wayne) of Simcoe ON, Emma
Cater (Allan) of Hanover ON, Rose Mitchelmore (Hubert) and Irene
Verge (Tony) both of St. George, NB. Also, 31 grandchildren,
34 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; one brother,
Lwelyn (Gladys) Langford of Hampden, NL, several nieces, nephews
and cousins. Mae was predeceased by her parents, William and
Martha Langford, 2 sons, Bryant and Reginald, three sisters,
Melvina, Emily and Naomi and four brothers, Randolph, Garland,
Walter and William. Funeral service was held at the Original
Word Full Gospel Assembly in Pennfield, NB on April 1 with Rev.
Ron Hanscom officiating and Allan Carter assisting. Interment
will take place at the St. George Rural Cemetery in the Spring.
Honorary pallbearers were son George Heath and grandson Corey
Heath. Pallbearers were grandsons, Willis Rice, Shane Regular,
Paul Verge, Mark Verge and David Cater. Arrangements were in
the care of the St. George Funeral Home and Crematorium, St.
George, NB.

It is with great sadness that the families of the late B.
Wade Colbourne announce his passing at the Leonard A.
Miller Centre in St. John’s on March 31, 2008 at
the age of 53. Wade was a member of the Newfoundland and Labrador
Teachers’ Association and the Beaumont United Church. Wade
retired from teaching at Long Island Academy in 2007. Predecease
by father, James Colbourne in 2000. Left with fond and loving
memories are his wife, Ruby Paddock Colbourne; two sons, Vance
of Long Island and Nicholas of Springdale; daughter, Christa
of St. John’s. Also leaving to mourn his mother, Maggie
(Oake) Colbourne; siblings – Aubrey Colbourne of Long Island,
Madge (Melvin Heath) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Debbie (Graydon
Pelley) of Belville, Ontario and Gregory Colbourne; mother-in-law – Dorothy
Paddock, one brother-in-law, four sisters-in-law and spouses,
22 nephews and nieces, as well as a large circle of relatives,
friends and colleagues. Reverend Barbara Noble conducted the
funeral service at the United Church in Beaumont on April 5,
2008. Interment was at the United Cemetery, Lushes Bight. Organist
was Alice Oake and the ushers were Megan Heath and Melanie Hewlett.
Pallbearer was Bonnie Green. Funeral arrangements were entrusted
