It is with great sadness that the family of the late Newton Eric Regular, age 56, announce his passing at the St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's, NL on Thursday, March 1, 2007. Predeceased by his father - Archibald Regular; sister - Lillian; parents-in-law - Alex & Margaret Ward; brothers-in-law - Len Fowler, Boyce Ward and Bennett Ward (missing). Left with fond and loving memories are his wife - Sylvia; children - Patty Regular & Peter Regular; granddaughter - Alexandra Regular; mother - Helen Regular; brothers - John Regular (Leona), Weldon Regular (Laura), Les Regular (Rhoda), Paul Regular (Mona); sisters - Selma (Francis Hedderson), Loretta Morris (Frank), Joan Humby (Nelson), Pam Patey (Ron), Gwen Clancy (Heber), & Wavey; brothers-in-law - Chesley (Golda), & Jack (Alvina); sister-in-law - Shirley (Bob); 32 nephews, 45 nieces and a large circle of other relatives & friends. BURTON, DELPHINE IDA
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Delphine Ida Burton announce her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex in Springdale on March 2, 2007 at the age of 82. Delphine was a member of the Pentecostal Church in South Brook. Predeceased by husband, Ronald; infant daughter, Mary; parents, Roland and Mary Newman and brothers, Fred and Lloyd. Left with fond and loving memories are son; Clifford of Bonnyville, AB; daughters, June (Wesley) of South Brook, Bernice (Philippe) of South Brook and Sandra of Bonnyville, AB. Also leaving to mourn brother, Melvern (Jean), nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor George Hilliard conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church in South Brook on March 5, 2007. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, South Brook. Pallbearers were: grandchildren, Jim Hibbs, Chad Hibbs, Michelle Lawless, Andre Beaupre and great grandchildren, Cody Hibbs and Jamie Hibbs. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes in Springdale.

PETERS, EVELYN MADELINE (CAKE)
August 10, 1914 - March 3, 2007
Evelyn Madeline (Cake) Peters
passed away March 3, 2007 at the Green Bay Health Care Centre, Springdale. She is predeceased by husband, Norman Peters. Leaving to mourn are daughters, Fay (Roger Parsons) of Coffee Cove, and Glynne (Craig Holtby) of Springdale; brother, Ronald Cakes (Joyce) of King's Point; grandchildren, Peter Parsons (Karen) of Maryland, US, and John Parsons (Debbie) of Ottawa, Michael Holtby (Melissa) of Edmonton, Alberta, Susan Holtby of Toronto; great-grandchildren, Jenny Parsons-Bartolini of Hamilton, Ontario, Lisa Parsons of North Carolina, US, Jessica and Cory Parsons of Ottawa, Ontario; Mitchell and Ethan Holtby of Edmonton, Alberta; also, nephews, nieces and many more relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place, as Madeline wished. A memorial service to celebrate her life will he held in St. John's for relatives and friends. Another memorial service will be held in Springdale, date and location will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, donations in Madeline's memory may be made to the Grace United Church (Roof Fund).

HAWKINS, HECTOR GREY
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Hector Gray Hawkins announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor on March 3, 2007 at the age of 72. Hector retired from the Dept. of Transportation Ferry Service in 1996. Predeceased by wife, Iris; parents Harvey and Effie; brother, George and sisters, Rose and Jacqueline. Left with fond and loving memories are his three sons; Eldon (Darlene), Clifford (Linda) and John (Sandra), all of Scarborough, Ontario; four daughters; Elizabeth (Wayne) of Shoe Cove, Lorraine (Kevin) of Beaumont, Golda (Lewis) of La Scie and Marylou (Robert) of Newcastle, Ontario. Also leaving to mourn 11 grandchildren; John Wayne, Josephine, Jeremy, Jodine, Jarvis, Julianna, Jeffrey, Jessica, Jasper, Jenna and Jamie; three brothers; as well a large circle of family and friends. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery in Beaumont on Monday, March 5, 2007. Pallbearers were his sons, Eldon, Clifford and John, sons-in-law, Wayne and Kevin; and nephew, Harvey. WELLS, JOSEPHINE ELIZABETH
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Josephine Elizabeth Wells announce her passing at the Central West Health Care Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on March 6, 2007 at the age of 78. Josephine was a member of the Salvation Army. Predeceased by sister, Marie Lush; parents, Annie and Ambrose Johnson. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband, William H. Wells; sons, Merlin (Lisa) of Springdale and Terry (Mary) of Thompson, Manitoba; daughter, Juanita Wells of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn sisters, Bridge, Nell, Kathleen, Agnes and Margaret; one brother John; 12 grandchildren, Kitty, Angela, Patti, Marilee, Nakita, David, Tammy, Richard, Melanie, Carly-Ann, Katie and Cassity; three great grandchildren, Billy-Joe, Shawn and Emily as well as a large number of relatives and friends. Major Lindsay Oxford conducted the funeral service at the Central Funeral Home in Springdale on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment was at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Pallbearers were her children, Merlin, Terry, and Juanita; brother John, grandson David and her nephew Ward. CRITCH, Harold Roland
Passed away on March 13, 2007 Harold Roland Critch at Fort Nelson, BC, age 55 years. Predeceased by father, Hedley. Left to mourn mother, Rita; daughters, Tammy, Tracey and Charmaine; common-law wife, Sandy; sister, Lavenia; brothers, Paul Art, Ambrose and their families. A memorial service will be held in Springdale at a later date.

HEWLETT, HILDA MAE
Passed peacefully away March 17, 2007 Hilda Mae Hewlett at Valley Vista Seniors Home, Springdale. She was 92 years of age. Mrs. Hewlett was a member of ladies auxiliary and the Royal Canadian Legion. Predeceased by: husband, Donald; daughter, Myrtle; and son, Reuben. Left to mourn are: daughters, Marion (Domion Oake) of Robert's Arm, NL, Evelyn (Warrick Roberts) of Triton, NL, Blanch (Ernest Austins) of King's Point, NL, Maisie (Willie Rodgers) of Triton, NL, Patsy (Murrey) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL and Christine (Wally White) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Also leaving to mourn, sister, Dalphine Winsor; and brother, Stewart Wiseman; 47 grandchildren, 95 great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Shane Simms conducted funeral services at Word of Life Tabernacle, Robert's Arm on March 19, 2007. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery Robert's Arm. ARMSTRONG, JOSEPH PATRICK
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Joseph Patrick Armstrong announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Centre in Springdale on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the age of 90. Joseph was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. He was retired from Abitibi Price, NL. Predeceased by mother and father, one sister and five brothers. Left with fond and loving memories are, one sister; Alice Noseworthy of Stephenville; three brothers, Harold Armstrong of Little Bay, Robert Armstrong of Ontario and Frank Armstrong of California. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces and nephews. Father Eugene Morris conducted the funeral service at the Roman Catholic Church in St. Patrick's on Wednesday, March 21, 2007. Interment was at the Roman Catholic cemetery. Pallbearers were his nephews, Frank, Neil, Mike, Pat, Bruce and David. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

CURRAN, MARY FRANCES
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Mary Frances Curran announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Centre in Springdale on March 21, 2007 at the age of 90. Mary was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish. Predeceased by husband, William; son, Doc; four brothers; son-in-law, Michael Dormody; four grandsons, Michael, Timothy and John Dormody, Bill Curran; and one great grandchild, Chantel Parsons. Left with fond and loving memories are son, John (Elsie) of St. Patrick's, Little Bay; and daughter, Maude Dormody of Grand Falls-Windsor. Also leaving to mourn one sister, Catherine Cleary; daughter-in-law, Amy Curran; nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and a large number of relatives and friends. Father Eugene Morris conducted the funeral service at the Roman Catholic Church in St. Patrick's on March 23, 2007. Interment was at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul Curran, Bill Dormody, Rick Curran, Mike Dormody, Patrick Curran, Andrew Walker and Noah Curran, Crossbearer was Jessica Walker and honourary pallbearer was Gerald Pelley. BURTON, MILDRED ANNIE
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Mildred Annie Burton announce her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Complex in Springdale on March 22, 2007 at the age of 80. Mildred Burton was a member of the United Church and the Orange Lodge. She was retired from National Sea Products in La Scie. Predeceased by son, Guy Burton; parents, John and Susie Tilley; and two brothers, Augustus and Roy. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband, Robert Burton; sisters, Marjorie Newbury (Donald), Myrtle Thomas and Ivy Bursey; sisters-in-law, Rita Hamlyn, Marina Grey (Raymond), Doreen Morey, Betty Noseworthy, Kathleen Gillingham (Roy), and Louise Gillingham (Ralph); brothers-in-law, Randolph Burton (Hazel), Ralph Burton, Clarence Burton (Clara), James Burton (Marion) and Bond Burton (Shirley). Also leaving to mourn a large circle of other relatives and friends. Reverend George Stockley conducted the funeral service at the United Church in La Scie on Sunday, March 25, 2007. PAYNE, EMERSON
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Emerson Payne announce his passing at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's on March 25, 2007 at the age of 67. Emerson was a member of the Salvation Army, Pilley's Island Corps and a faithful member of the SS+ Group. Emerson retired from fishing in Bell Isle in 1985. Predeceased by parents, Fred and Irene Payne; brothers, Hayward, Pleman, Wilbur and Dexter; stepchildren, Myrl and Edgar. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Margaret Payne (Whalen); stepsons, Clarence (Katie) of Pilley's Island, and Ernest (Tracey) of Vancouver; daughter Tina (Peter) of Slave Lake; stepdaughters, Marion (Alain) of Woodstock, New Brunswick, Beulah (Woodrow) of Fort Nelson, B.C., Joy (Todd) of Deer Lake and Sherry of Iroquois Falls, Ont. AMOS, DOROTHY C.
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Dorothy C. Amos announce her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on March 25, 2007 at the age of 89. Dorothy retired from Kesteven College of Education, Lincolnshire, UK. Predeceased by parents, William Arthur and Ruby Bale (Slater); brother, William Arthur and sister, Marjorie. Left with fond and loving memories are son, Christopher (Jean) of Springdale; grandson, Stephen (Jennifer) of Windsor, Ontario, and sister-in-law, Barbara Bale of Solihule, England. Rev. Mildred Tobin conducted the funeral service at Central Funeral Home on Thursday, March 29, 2007. Her ashes will be returned to England for burial. CLARKE, CALVIN PEARCE
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Calvin Pearce Clarke announce his passing at the Central Nfld. Regional Health Care Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on March 26, 2007 at the age of 82. Calvin was a member of the Springdale Town Council for four years. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church for most of his life. Calvin retired from construction work. Predeceased by parents: Joseph and Margaret Clarke. Left with fond and loving memories are: wife, Lily; daughter, Rhonda (Brad) of Manuels. Also leaving to mourn granddaughter, Madison, brother, Desmond (Beryl) as well as Harry and Betty Oxford. Pastor Lindsey Foster conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church on March 29, 2007. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Springdale. ROBERTS, MARION ELIZABETH
1943-2007

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marion Elizabeth Roberts announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on March 26, 2007, at the age of 63. Marion Roberts was a member of the Marantha Pentecostal Church, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, Triton Weigh In's group, Women's Dart League. She is retired from FPI (Fishery Products International). Marion is predeceased by: her parents Stafford and Nellie Roberts; her brother Leonard Roberts; and son Danny Roberts. Left with fond and loving memories are: husband Claude Roberts; sons Bradley Roberts (Holly) of Amherst, NS, Keith Roberts (Joanne) of St. Catherine's, ON, Almo Roberts (Dale) of Triton, NL; daughters Connie Windsor (Joey) of Edison, AB, and Deneka Roberts (Wayne) of Triton, NL. Also leaving to mourn 14 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, five sisters, one brother along with a large circle of friends and family. Pearl, NL, Dennis (Karen) of Pilley's Island, NL, Captain Vaden (Judy) of St. John's, NL, Albert (Beverly) of Triton, NL, Captain Morris (Wanda) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Max of Vancouver, BC, Graham (Joann) of Triton, NL; daughters, Yvonne (Winston Woodford) of Triton, NL, Gloria (Guy Williams) of Triton, NL, and Mavis (Harry Simms) of Triton, NL. Also leaving to mourn 18 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, along with a large circle of family and friends. Captains Morris Vincent and Vaden Vincent conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel in Triton, on April 1, 2007. Interment was at the Triton Interfaith Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons Gavin Vincent, Capt. Kristian Simms, Andrew Vincent, sons-in-law Harry Simms, and Winston Woodford, and special family friend Keith Southworth. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment and Ken Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harvey Bennett Noble, age 73, announce his passing on Wednesday, March 28, 2007. Predeceased by: parents, Arthur and May (Giles) Noble; parents-in-law, Raymond and Jessie Thomas; siblings, Malcolm Noble, Neta (Joseph) Saunders, and Evelyn Wiseman; brother-in-law, Fred Bartlett; infant daughter, Darlene Noble; and grandchild, Jeffrey Foster. Left with fond and loving memories are: his wife, Golda (Thomas) Noble; children, Junior Noble (Joan), Deer Lake, NL, Maxine Foster (Glen), Lloydminister, AB, Juanita Burton (Bryce), Burlington, NL, Elaine Perry (Harry), Burlington, NL, Keith Noble (Kelly), Middle Arm, NL, Audean Decker (Ronald), Ming's Bight, NL; 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Stella Bartlett, Middle Arm, NL; brothers, Cyril Noble (Joyce), Calvin Noble (Gladys), Lester Noble (Maude), all of Middle Arm, NL; brothers-in-law, Henry (Iris) Thomas, Middle Arm, NL, Wallace Wiseman, Springdale, NL; a large number of special nephews and nieces, extended family and friends. He will always be remembered for his love of the "woods" and his love for his grandchildren. Pastors Jeffrey and Wanece Green conducted the funeral service at Bayview Pentecostal Church and Oceanview Interfaith Cemetery, Middle Arm on Sunday, April 1, 2007. Pallbearers were Junior Noble, Richard Foster, Wylie Noble, Bryce Burton, Harry Perry and Ronald Decker. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wimbleton's Funeral Home, Baie Verte.
