ROBERTS, AUBREY W.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Aubrey W. Roberts announces his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Centre in Springdale on June 4, 2008 at the age of 61. Aubrey was a member of the Salvation Army. Aubrey retired from Abitibi-Price. Predeceased by father, Roger Roberts and brothers, Melvin and Sterling Roberts. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Jean; son, Roger (Janice) of Triton; daughters, Michelle (Eddie Wiseman) of Triton, Kimberley of Triton and Miranda (Glen Fudge) of Triton. Also leaving to mourn mother, Clara Roberts, brothers, Ambrose (Joy), Barry, Dennis and Todd; grandchildren, Amanda, Daniel, Jordan and Devin. Majors Larry and Phyllis Fudge conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel in Triton on June 7, 2008. Interment was at the Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers were his co-workers, Juan Roberts, Corwin Roberts, Hayden Roberts, Derwin Roberts, Corey Vincent and Dennis Fudge. Honorary pallbearers were his son, Roger Roberts and nephew, Peter Roberts. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear, Jim Maidment and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

DAWSON, HUGH DANIEL
Seal Cove, NL
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hugh Daniel Dawson, age 73, announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Sunday, June 8, 2008. Predeceased by his parents; brother, Douglas Dawson; and father-in-law, Ernest Vokey. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Pearl, Seal Cove; children, Amy Dawson (Keith Parsons), Beamsville, ON, Nada Rideout (Kerry), King’s Point, NL, and Myra Dawson, St. John’s, NL; grandchildren, Nicole Dawson, and Kaelan Rideout. Also leaving to mourn brother, John Dawson; mother-in-law, Blanche Vokey, Baie Verte; and brother-in-law, Tony Vokey (Betty), Stephenville, NL; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. George Stockley conducted the funeral service at Bethany United Church and Cemetery, Baie Verte, on Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Pallbearers were Tony Vokey, Eric Robinson, Gordon Parsons, Gary Rideout, Nelson Vokey, and Wallace Rice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wimbleton’s Funeral Home, Baie Verte.

FOSS, CECIL WILLIAM
Baie Verte, NL
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecil William Foss, age 82, announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Predeceased by his son, Robert Foss; granddaughter, Jennifer Jacobs; parents, Henry and Ethel Foss; siblings, Raymond Foss, Mae Welshman, Henry Foss, Harriet Ryan and Bert Foss; siblings-in-law, daisy Butt, Harvey Wimbleton, and Pearce Chipp. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Maisie, Baie Verte; children, Melvina Burton (Alex Young), Baie Verte, Velma Foote (Ted), La Scie, Cherry Jacobs (Ralph), Baie Verte, Carl Foss (Donna), Pasadena, Jean Foss, Baie Verte, and Debra Boone, Halifax, NS; 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn sister, Evelyn Wimbleton, Baie Verte; a number of siblings-in-law; many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. George Stockley conducted the funeral service at Bethany United Church and Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL on Saturday, June 14, 2008. Pallbearers were Andrew Foss, Wayne Foss, Mark Hillier, Raymond Wimbleton, Howard Osbourne and Harold Downey. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wimbleton’s Funeral Home, Baie Verte.

BOYDE, ROBERT STANLEY MATTHEW
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Robert Stanley Matthew Boyde announce his passing at his home in Saint John, New Brunswick on June 14, 2008 at the age of 23. Left with fond and loving memories are his mother, Jean (Rowe), father Stan Boyde, wife, Jessica Higgins and daughter, Kami. Also leaving to mourn his sisters, Darlene (Aydin and Ashton), Dwan (Robert and Aliyah), Diane (Shelby and Seth), Deanne (Dave, Brittni and Madison), Debbie (Shawn, Samantha and Isabelle) and mother-in-law Jackie. Majors Gerald and Doreen Lacey conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel in Springdale on June 20, 2008. Pallbearers were his sisters Darlene, Dwan, Dianne, Deanne, Debbie and wife Jessie. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

CHIPP, IDA MAY
Middle Arm, NL
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ida May Chipp, age 90, announce her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre in Baie Verte, NL on Monday, June 16, 2008. Predeceased by her first husband, John Thomas; daughter, Jean Mitchell (Bon); grandson, Wade Austin; parents, Obediah & Agnes Robinson; parents-in-law, siblings, Clayton Robinson, Wesley Robinson, Norman Robinson, and Elizabeth Austin. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband, Sidney Chipp, Middle Arm; children, Betty Noseworthy (Ray), Shirley Austin (Bon), Scott Thomas (Jessie), and Rhoda Smith (Sim), all of Middle Arm; Elsie Greenham (Calvin), Ming’s Bight, Yvonne Canning (Ross), Stratford, ON, and Morris Chipp (Nancy), Middle Arm; 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn siblings, Fred Robinson, and Pearl Rowsell (Sandy); a large number of in-laws, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Jeffery Green conducted the funeral service at Baieview Pentecostal Tabernacle and Oceanview Interfaith Cemetery, Middle Arm, NL on Friday, June 20, 2008. Pallbearers were Perry Thomas, Clem Thomas, Shane Harvey, Corey Greenham, Shawn Noseworthy and Jody Smith. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wimbleton’s Funeral Home, Baie Verte.

MOREY, RHONDA D.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rhonda D. Morey announce her passing at her home in South Brook on June 22, 2008 at the age of 35. Rhonda was a member of the United Church. Predeceased by her grandfather, Marmion Paddock and grandparents, Baxter and Rowena Fudge. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband, Keith Morey and her two daughters, Victoria and Robyn Ann of South Brook. Also leaving to mourn are her parents, Rupert and Sandra Fudge; brother, Tyler Fudge; sisters, Tiffany Fudge and Ramona Fudge and grandmother, Marjorie Paddock. Barbara Noble conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church in South Brook. Interment was at the United Cemetery. Pallbearers were; Tyler Fudge, Richard Morey, Hank Morey, Russell Morey, Gord Fowlow and Roger Morey. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

BOWERS, MUNDEN MILTON
Nipper’s Harbour, NL
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mundon Wilton Bowers, age 74, announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on Monday, June 23, 2008. Predeceased by his partner, Margaret and parents, Edward and Fanny Bowers. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Adelaide; children, Sheila Bowers (Stanley Gray), Nipper’s Harbour, and Peter Bowers, Port Hardy, BC; step-children, John Starkes, Nipper’s Harbour, and Deanne Newbury (Ken), Baie Verte; grandchildren, Cody, Chloe, Chelsea, and Ashley. Also left to mourn sisters, Viola Bowers (Stewart), and Sandra Jamieson; and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Sidney Newbury conducted the funeral service at Nipper’s Harbour United Church and Nipper’s Harbour Anglican Cemetery , Nipper’s Harbour on Thursday, June 26, 2008. Pallbearers were Lloyd Dolland, Norman Perry, Bill Perry, Rodger Noble, Claude Weir, and Edward Prole. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wimbleton’s Funeral Home, Baie Verte.

WINSOR, DONNA
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Donna Winsor announces her passing at the Springdale Hospital Thursday, June 26, age 58. Predeceased by parents, Bennett and Mae Oake and brother, Brian in infancy. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories husband, Randolph; son, Kirk (Patty); grandson, Cameron; brothers, Roy (Averil), Bramwell and Neil (Darlene); sisters, Sophie (John) and Marjorie (Cluney); and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation took place from the Salvation Army Citadel, Triton, Saturday June 28. The funeral service took place at the Salvation Army Citadel Sunday, June 29 at 2 p.m. with Major Larry Fudge officiating. Interment at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Pilley’s Island. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maud Clara Short, age 65, announce her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Friday, June 27, 2008. Predeceased by her son, Jerry Short; parents, Kenneth and Winnie Critch; parents-in-law, Henry and Pearl Short; siblings-in-law, Raymond Short, Malcolm Short, and Laura Young; and nephew, Tony Critch. WIMBLETON, JOSEPH STEWART

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Stewart Wimbleton, age 87, announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Saturday, June 28, 2008. Predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Nettie Wimbleton; siblings, Lucy Welshman, Effie Welshman, George Wimbleton, Thomas Wimbleton, Jacob Wimbleton, and Harvey Wimbleton; parents-in-law, Edward & Annie Welshman; siblings-in-law, Harold Welshman, Charles Welshman, Gertie Foster, Lucy Gray, Augustus Foster, Leander Gray, Joyce Welshman, Reginald Winsor, Josephine Wimbleton, and Alfreda Wimbleton. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lucy Mary Lewis, age 72, announce her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, June 29, 2008. Predeceased by her husband, Anthony Joseph Lewis; infant daughter, Heidi Lewis; grandson, Jordan Regular; parents, William & Elizabeth Lewis; brother, Don Lewis; and special friend, William Aylward.
