ROBERTS, EDDIE WAYNE
November 17, 1961 - July 2, 2009

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eddie Roberts of Triton, announce his passing on July 2, 2009, at the age of 47. He was predeceased by grandparents, Stafford and Nellie Roberts and Joseph Fudge. Left with fond and loving memories are daughters, Amanda and Jessica; girlfriend, Joy; parents, Nina and Allister; sisters, Paula (Mike), Brenda (Bob); brothers, Shane (Lori), Dwight (Cathy), Shannon (Ashley); nieces, Tiffany, Bailey, Brooke; nephews, Matthew and Tim; grand niece, Ciara; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Majors Larry and Phyllis Fudge conducted the funeral service on Saturday, July 4, 2009 from The Salvation Army Citadel, Triton, with interment following at the Triton Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers were Derwin Roberts, Todd Oake, Jeremy Winsor, Bill Simms, Randy Roberts, and Warren Lush. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gail Noel and Leander Hewlett of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale.

ANDREWS, GEORGE ERIC

It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Eric Andrews, age 79, announce his passing at Valley Vista Senior Citizens Complex, Springdale, NL on Thursday, July 9, 2009. Predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Rebecca (Blanchard) Andrews; step-father, Herbert Hamlyn; siblings, Martha Lacey-Toms, Maxwell Gordon, Lovet Watkins, Lewis "Jack" Andrews, and Emma Gillingham; parents-in-law, Walter and Matilda Fillier; siblings-in-law, Garland Lacey, William Toms, Abner Watkins, Pearl Andrews, Thomas Gillingham, Ralph Fillier, Reginald Compton, and Gordon Hewlett. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Ella, La Scie, NL; children, Max Andrews (Jessie), Port Hardy, BC, Patsy Martin (John), La Scie, NL, Melody Croucher (Dennis), Chris Andrews (Louise), and Judy Shiner (Derrick), all of Fort McMurray, AB, Sandra Squires (Thomas), La Scie, NL, and Blake Andrews (Kayla Seymour), Fort McMurray, AB; grandchildren, Tonya Walsh (Kerry), Chad Andrews (Jessica Fleming), Pamela Tilley (Lawrence Whyee), Shauna Short (Adam), Michael Lee (Kelly), Angela Lee, Draper Andrews (Natasha), Grant Andrews (Ashley Clarke), Melanie Andrews (Tyler), and Nicholas Squires (Candace Burton); great-grandchildren, Dylan and Jayden; Jesse and Alexis; River, Reauna and Destiny; Bo; Haylie, Heidi and Ethan; Thomas and Landon; and Linken; brother, Pearce Andrews (Shirley); siblings-in-law, Yvonne Gordon, Bessie Compton, Violet Wilcox (Harvey), Alma Pilgrim (Albert), Sylvia Hewlett, Jerry Fillier (Gloria), and Ken Fillier (Melina); special niece, Judy Critch (Sandy); many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Sandy Critch, Corps Sergeant Major, conducted the funeral service at The Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, La Scie, NL, on Monday, July 13, 2009. Pallbearers were Grant Andrews, Nicholas Squires, Victor Andrews, Roy Bath, Louis Fudge and Warrick Randell. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wimbleton's Funeral Home, Baie Verte.

BENNETT, GENETTA
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Genetta Bennett announce her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on July 11, 2009 at the age of 79. Genetta Bennett was a member of the Beachside Pentecostal Tabernacle. Predeceased by her parents, Harland and Nellie Taylor; stepmother, Daisy; daughter, Paulette and brother, Calvin. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Freeman Bennett and two daughters; Hazel (Chris Sacrey) of Ming's Bight and Lisa Bungay of Beachside. Also leaving to mourn five grandchildren, six sisters and six brothers. Pastor George Coles conducted the funeral service at the Beachside Pentecostal Tabernacle on Tuesday, July 14, 2009. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Beachside. Pallbearers were Clayton Taylor, Bruce Taylor, Ford Taylor, Dawson Taylor, Derrick Taylor and Andre Rodrigue. Honorary pallbearer was Cyril Taylor. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

PARSONS, VICTORIA
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Victoria Parsons announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on July 11, 2009 at the age of 87. Predeceased by her husband, Reuben; parents, Phillip and Bessie Locke; half-brothers, Sidney, Clayton, Edward, Maxwell, Parmenius and Adolphus; brothers, Selby, Frederick, Gerald and sister, Winnifred. Also leaving to mourn sisters-in-law, Nellie Locke and Lily Locke; nieces, nephews and a large number of other relatives and friends. Majors Gerald and Doreen Lacey conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel in Springdale on July 13, 2009. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery in Lushes Bight. Pallbearers were Michael Parsons, Michelle Reid, Christopher Parsons, Lori Miller, Todd Reid and Monique Henstridge. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

LAING-REID, JOYCE
May 16, 1921 - July 14, 2009

It is with sadness but also a great sense of hope that the family of the late Joyce Laing-Reid, announce her passing on July 14, 2009, at the age of 88. She and her family moved to Roberts Arm from Howley in 1978. She was predeceased by husband, Stephen Laing in 1991. She remarried in 1999 to John Reid. Left to mourn and awaiting the resurrection are: husband, John; sons, Milton (Wendy), Medicine Hat, AB, Clarence (Joyce) Port Perry, ON, Jim (Margaret) Whitby, ON; daughters, Myra (Jack), Deer Lake, NL, Sandra (Robert) Robert's Arm, NL, Joanne (Derrick) Bay Roberts, NL; sisters, Georgina, Gladys and Betty; brother, Clarence, 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Robert Paddock conducted the funeral service on Sunday, July 19, 2009 from The Word of Life Tabernacle with interment following at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Robert's Arm. Pallbearers were grandchildren, Terri Curtis. Ruth Peddle, Sandra Pierce, Jacalyn Raike, Cory Reid, Gary Reid and Cory Thompson. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gail Noel and Leander Hewlett of Green Bay Funeral Home Springdale.

LOCKE, LOUISE ANN
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Louise Ann Grant Locke announce her passing at her home in North York, Ontario on July 26, 2009 at the age of 63. Predeceased by husband, Guy Grant and daughter, Carolyn. Left with fond and loving memories is her special friend, Max, sisters, Lorraine, Alice, Lois, Joan, Rose, Rosalyn, Jeanette; brothers, Stanley and James; two step-daughters, Sherry and Shelly; step-son, Barry; daughter, Ashley in Toronto and grandson, Jeff Mouland. Also leaving to mourn a large number of other family and friends. Pastor Lindsey Foster, Pastor Head and Reverend Patricia Melindy conducted the funeral service at Central Funeral Homes in Springdale on August 19, 2009. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alice Curtis, Roslyn Oxford, Ron Oxford, Mike Heath, Jeanette Young and Max Mugford. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes. Rev. Sidney Newbury conducted the funeral service at Zion United Church and Cemetery, La Scie, NL on Friday, July 31, 2009. Pallbearers were fellow members of the Baie Verte AOTS - Jerry Parsons, Roland Bath, Robert Boyle, Howard Roberts, Clayton Hewlett, and Frederick Woodridge. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wimbleton's Funeral Home, Baie Verte.
