It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kelly Jewvern Noble, age 38, announce her sudden passing at her home in Middle Arm, NL on Monday, July 2, 2007. Predeceased by grandfather, Eric Thomas; father-in-law, Harvey Noble; sister-in-law, Darlene. Interment followed at Oceanview Interfaith Cemetery, Middle Arm, NL. Pallbearers were Kent Thomas, Kenny Thomas, Herbie Martin, Barry Prowse, Ben Prowse, Roland Anstey. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wimbleton's Funeral Home, Baie Verte.

Seal Cove, NL

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Valerie Young, age 60, announce her passing at her home in Seal Cove, NL on Monday, July 2, 2007. Predeceased by her first husband, Maxwell Simms; parents, John and Alma Lora Rideout; brothers, Eugene and Woodrow; two infant sisters. Left with fond and loving memories are husband, Peter Young of Seal Cove, NL; children, Wanny Higdon of Fort St. John, BC, David Simms (Rhonda) of Grand Cache, AB, Keith Simms (Tina) of Grand Cache, AB, Earl Simms (Lisa) of Ming's Bight, NL, and Steve Simms (Penney) of Grand Cache, AB; grandchildren, Helana Fudge, Tyrone and Tonya Simms, Victor and Robyn Simms, Colton and Shauna Simms and Natay Simms; birth mother, Evelyn Dillon; brother, Leonard (Millie); sister, Mildred (Dawe); sisters-in-law, Lucy Rideout and Helen Rideout; many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. JONES, LEAH DAPHNE
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Leah Daphne Jones announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Centre in Springdale on July 4, 2007 at the age of 65. Leah was a member of the Salvation Army Home League as well as a member of the Hospital Auxiliary and Tops. Leah retired from Pelley Inn Springdale. Predeceased by parents, Chesley and Phoebe Ann Norman; and sister, Betty Verge. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband, Elmo; son, Barry (Connie) of Paradise; daughters, Lorna of Springdale, Rosemary of Snow Lake, Manitoba and Patricia ( Clinton ) of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn sister, Daisy (Charlie) Coombs; and brothers, Clarke (Golda) Norman and Wallace (Beryl) Norman; and seven grandchildren. Pastor Dave Mercer conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel on July 6, 2007. Interment was at the Living Waters Ministries Cemetery. Pallbearers were Barry Jones, Jarred Cadet, Charlie Coombs, Clarke Norman, Wallace Norman and Lionel Baker. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

PADDOCK, DEXTER
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Dexter Paddock of Beaumont announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on July 5, 2007 at the age of 83. Dexter was a member of the Merchant Marine WWII. Predeceased by father, Willis in 1927; mother, Lydia in 1972; and sister, Maisie Rowsell in 2005. Left with fond and loving memories are wife, Dorothy Paddock; son, Neil Paddock of Thompson, MB; daughters, Ruby (Wade Colbourne) of Long Island, Georgie (Bond Ryan) of Leaf Rapids, MB, Wanda (Darrell Budgell) of Paradise, Fay (David Murphy) of Calgary, Helen (Jerry Roberts) Robert's Arm. Also leaving to mourn 11 grandchildren. Reverend Barbara Noble conducted the funeral service at the Beaumont United Church on July 10, 2007. The organist was Alice Oake. Interment was at the Beaumont United Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randolph Burton, Clyde Croucher, Hedley Croucher, Leyton Oake, Kristopher Ryan and Dawson Slade. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

WARD, JAMES RAYMOND

It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Raymond Ward, age 64, announce his sudden passing at La Scie on Saturday, July 7, 2007. TIZZARD, CYRIL JAMES
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Cyril James Tizzard announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on July 8, 2007 at the age of 84. Cyril was a member of the Salvation Army Church. Cyril retired from Green Bay Logging. Predeceased by daughter, Sandra. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Olive; sons, Harvey (Pat) of Springdale, Clyde (Eileen) of Springdale, Boyd (Francis) of Calgary, AB, Randy (Mary) of Ontario, Wade (Vera) of Ontario, Tony (Susan) of Springdale and Lorne (Chantell) of Ontario; daughters, Sheila (George Rice) of Arnold's Cove, Pauline (Gerald Matthews) of South Brook, Verlie (Jim Parsons) of Ontario, Christine (Roger Rideout) of Ontario, Barbara (Warren Lush) of Triton, Lorna (Rick Oxford) of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn: four sisters, Mabel Roberts, Greta Marsh, Ivy Noble, Marjorie Wells, 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jacqueline Ruth "Jackie" Sheppard, age 56, announce her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Center, Baie Verte on Tuesday, *July 10, 2007. Predeceased by her parents, William and May Loder; mother-in-law, Phyllis Sheppard; granddaughter, Charlie Sheppard. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband, Carl; children, Aldonna King (Shannon), Kitchener, ON, Jamie (Cindy), Cambridge, ON, randy (Noelle Decker), La Scie, NL; grandchildren, Brady King, Sam Sheppard, Jesse Sheppard, Jake Sheppard; siblings, Yvonne Butt (Alvin), Debra Loder, Rocky Loder, Alvin Loder (Cathy), all of Edmonton, AB; father-in-law, Douglas Sheppard, Carmanville, NL; sisters-in-law, Linda Gaultois, Kippens, NL, Marie Fifield (Peter), Wesleyville, NL, Ruby Connors (Ronald) Burlington, ON; many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. MOREY, LYDIA MIRIAM
1931-2007

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lydia Morey announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on July 10, 2007 at the age of 76. Lydia Morey was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Miles Cove. Lydia retired from owning and working at her own business. She is predeceased by her father, Wallace Morey; mother, Martha Morey; sister, Rowena; brother, Albert and grandson, Jake Morey. Left with fond and loving memories are: husband, Clifford Morey; sons, Melvin (Melvie) of Miles Cove; Otto (Shirley) of Miles Cove; Ivan (Viola) of Miles Cove; daughters, Flora (Lloyd) of Miles Cove, and Angela ( Wayne ) of Miles Cove. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren Morris, Michael, Trina, Terri-Lynn, Trevor, Krista, Justin, Janice, Danny and Nathan; and five great-grandchildren. Pastor B. Brown conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church in Miles Cove, on July 13, 2007. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Miles Cove. Pallbearers were grandchildren Morris, Michael, Danny, Trevor, Krista, Morey and Justin Normore. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.

BOWERS, PHYLLIS
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Phyllis Bowers, nee Milley, announce her passing at the Seniors Home in Springdale on July 10, 2007 at the age of 70. Phyllis was a member of the Pentecostal Women's Ministries and the Salvation Army Home League. Phyllis retired from fishing with her husband. Predeceased by her father - Elijah, mother - Margaret and sister - Marjorie. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband - Pierce*; one son - Randy (Andrea) of Marathon, Ontario; three daughters - Pauline (Jim) of Lewisporte, Diane (Don) of Blaketown, NL, and Tassie (Kevin) of Marathon, Ontario. Also leaving to mourn sisters - Great, Gladys, Bonnie and Evangeline; brothers - Arthur, Gerald, Alfred and Calvin; 6 grandchildren - Janet, Janelle, Russell, Craig, Keith and Don Jr. Pastor Head conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church in Springdale on July 13, 2007. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers were Otto Burton, Cyril Goudie, Lloyd Hewlett, Jim Huxter, Leonard Dicks and Duncan Parsons. FUDGE, SHIRLEY BEATRICE
1939-2007
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Beatrice Fudge announce her passing at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex in St. John's on July 16, 2007, at the age of 67. Shirley was a member of the Salvation Army Church. She is predeceased by husband, Cyril; sister Sadie; parents Pleaman and Winnie Bridger. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons, Morris (Madonna) of Fort McMurray, AB, Peter (Nicole) of Pilley's Island, NL; daughters, Juanita (Jim) of Brighton, NL, Della (Larry) of Gibbons, AB. Also leaving to mourn are sisters, Norma, Rose, Joyce, Meral, Alverda; brother, Neil; grandchildren, Jodi Marrisa, Michell, Synjin. Captains Dwayne and Brandi LeDrew conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church on Pilley's Island on July 20, 2007. Interment was at the Brighton Cemetery. THOMAS, LESLIE RALPH
It is with great joy that the families of the late Leslie Ralph Thomas announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on July 21, 2007 at the age of 75. Ralph Thomas was a member of the King of King's Pentecostal Church in King's Point. Ralph Thomas retired from the Department of Forestry. Predeceased by father, Albert William Thomas; and mother, Loretta Eliza Burt-Thomas. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Marjorie; one son, Don (Shirley) of King's Point; and three daughters, Helen (Ivan Tilley) of Campbellton, Della Lee (John Fairbanks) of Groveland and Mildred (Gilbert Dampier) of Rattling Brook. Also leaving to mourn sister, Edna Pelley (Gerald) of Springdale; grandsons, Ryan Thomas of Moncton, Mark Thomas of King's Point, Timothy, Joshua and Jonathan Tilley of Campbellton and as well many relatives, friends and co-workers. Pastor Robert Parsons conducted the funeral service at the King of Kings Pentecostal Church in King's Point on Monday, July 23, 2007. Interment was at the Interfaith Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews Lance and Rhodes Pelley and grandsons, Timothy, Joshua, Ryan and Jonathan. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment, Marilyn Stuckless and Ken Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.

KING, ROWENA PEARL
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Rowena Pearl King announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Center in Springdale on July 22, 2007 at the age of 84. Predeceased by parents, Timothy and Minnie Grimes; husband, Harold; sons, Ralph and Alvin; daughter, Claudette; four sisters; two brothers; son-in-law, Donald Elliott; and great grandson, Brodie Harrington. Left with fond and loving memories are son, Roger of Tar Lake, Alberta; five daughters, Netta Elliott of Halifax, Edith Wells (Melvin) of Springdale, Ruth Dawe (Owen) of Riverview, NB, Gertrude Roberts (Lester) of Little Bay Islands and Barbara Grimes (Dennis) of Little Bay Islands. Also leaving to mourn, son-in-law, Albert Rideout; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Elsie Grimes; nephews and nieces; and her dog, Pokey. Jerry Weir conducted the funeral service at the Faith United Church on July 26, 2007. Interment was at the community cemetery in Little Bay Islands. PINSENT, IDA ALLISON
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Ida Allison Pinsent announce her passing at the Central Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on July 23, 2007 at the age of 88 years. Ida Allison Pinsent was a member of the Salvation Army Brighton Corps. Predeceased by her husband, eight sisters and three brothers. Left with fond and loving memories are her son, Lloyd (Leona) of Miles Cove; daughters, Jacqueline (Donald) of Brighton, Evelyn of Scarborough, Donna (John) of Calgary, Cleo of Scarborough, Vena (George) of Buchans and Mary (Randy) of Waterloo. Also leaving to mourn 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Majors Larry and Phyllis Fudge conducted the funeral services at the Salvation Army Citadel in Triton on July 27, 2007. Interment was at the Brighton Cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandchildren: Randy, Robbie, Lucas, Tanya, Rosalind, Johanna and Natasha. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

SMITH, FREDERICK ALLAN
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Frederick Allan Smith announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on July 24, 2007 at the age of 71. Fred retired from Diamond Drilling and the Fishing Industry. Predeceased by parents, five brothers and one sister. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Rita Smith; son, Jamie Smith (Nicole) of Ottawa, son/grandson, Andrew Smith of St. John's; daughters, Christine Russell (Keith) of Springdale, Elaine Smith of Springdale, Connie Bonnier (Lyle) of Bowmanville, Ont., and Colette Tuck (Trevor) of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren, Julia, Kylee, Keanne, Reannen, Stacey, Mikayla and Kyle; sisters, Ethel, Nellie, Jean, Margaret, Olive and Maxine; brother, Gerald and many friends. Pastor Foster and Pastor Head conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church in Springdale on July 28, 2007. Interment was at the Springdale Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers were Keith Russell, Lyle Bonnier, Trevor Tuck, Morris Greenham, Norman Hicks and Lloyd Hewlett. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

GREENHAM, SCOTT COYLIE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Scott Coylie Greenham, age 32, announces his sudden passing near Lloydminster, Alberta on Thursday, July 26, 2007. Predeceased by his biological mother, Gertie; grandparents, John and Marjorie Greenham, Walter and Ina Kippenhuck. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Patty; daughter, Courtney; parents, Melvin & Verna Greenham, Pacquet, NL; parents-in-law Ron and Wanda Bowers, Pacquet, NL; sister, Zonya Foster (Dennis), Ming's Bight, NL; siblings-in-law, Mark Sacrey (Cynthia), Baie Verte, NL; Paula Randell (Jason), Lloydminster, Alberta; Kayla Bowers, Pacquet, NL; niece, Madison; nephew, Ethan; grandmothers-in-law, Eleanor Sacrey, Evelyn Gillingham; aunts, uncles, cousins and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Donald Card conducted the funeral service at Harvestime Pentecostal Church, Pacquet, NL on Friday, August 3, 2007. Interment followed at First United Cemetery, Pacquet, NL. Pallbearers were Jason Randell, Jason Rideout, Lawrence Mitchell, Collin Greenham, Guy Greenham, Jeffery Randell. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wimbleton's Funeral Home, Baie Verte.

ANTHONY, LEWIS ERNEST
Passed peacefully away July 27, 2007, Lewis Ernest Anthony at Valley Vista Seniors Home, Springdale, at the age of 81. Predeceased by wife, Olive and son, George. Left to mourn are sons, John (Sherry), Pearce (Maggie), Jerry (Rona), Roy, Harry (Wavey); daughters, Hazel, Pearl (Garry), Marie (Herman), Janice (Cedric); also leaving to mourn sister, Pearl Rice; 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Shane Simms conducted the funeral services at Word of Life Tabernacle, Robert's Arm, on Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Interment was at Pentecostal Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by Bill Weeks and Leander Hewlett of White Dove Funeral Home in Springdale. Pallbearers were: son John; (sons-in-law) Cedric Milley, Garry Roberts; grandsons Leroy Anthony and Keith Roberts; and friend Gilbert Roberts.
