BONISE, LILLIAN I.
Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre on July 1, 2005, Lillian Bonsie. She was 73 years of age. Predeceased by first husband Frank Bonsie; second husband Erastus Evans and daughter Nora. Left to mourn are daughters Laura Simpell, Donna Skilton and Joy Bu-Mansour; sons Frank, Rocky and Stanley. Also leaving to mourn a number of sisters and brothers; 19 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Major Marie Hollett conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army citadel and Cemetery, Harry's Hr.

RYAN, RAYMOND CLAUDE, LA SCIE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Claude Ryan, age 71, announce his passing at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor on Friday, July 1, 2005. Predeceased by parents William and Eunice Ryan; brothers James and Dorman; sisters Sheila and Idella; infant daughter Sheila Diane and sister-in-law Jeanette Bishop. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Betty; son David (Maxine), La Scie; daughters Jessie Diane, St. John's and Melinda, Baltimore, Maryland; grandchildren Darren Ryan and Melissa Ryan. Also leaving to mourn siblings Grogan Ryan (Patsy), Willie Ryan (Ann), Cecil Ryan (Nina), George Ryan (Neta), Phyllis Burton (Weir) and Julia Wiseman (Roy); brothers-in-law Ralph Burton, Roy Toms (Phyllis), Gordon Bishop and Woodrow Bishop (Dorothy); sisters-in-law Ethel Critch (Bert), Marjorie Ryan, Florrie Johnson (Douglas) and Eileen Andrews (Eric); many neices and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Captain Arley and Major Darlene Masters conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel  and Cemetery, La Scie on Sunday, July 3, 2005. Pallbearers were nephews Ronnie Ryan, Fred Ryan, Jeremy Ryan, Dwayne Ryan, Greg Ryan and Gordon Andrews.

GAVIN, JOHN "JACK"
WESTPORT

It is with great sadness that the family of the late John "Jack" Gavin, age 77, announce his passing at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor on Monday, July 4, 2005. Predeceased by parents John and Julia Gavin; sisters Victoria Gavin, Jessie Banks, Tammer Grant (Harold), Darcos Stuckless (John), Maria Rice (Stanley) and Elizabeth Gale (Alex); brothers George Gavin (Mathilda), Arthur Gavin, Johnny Gavin, James Gavin (Mae) and Leander Gavin. Left with fond and loving memories are sister Mary Oxford (Hubert), Springdale; special friends Havelock and Olive Jacobs with whom he resided for the past 17 years; sister-in-law Ruby Gavin, Westport; brother-n-law Elikan Banks, Baie Verte; many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. William Ranson conducted the funeral service at St. Peter's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Westport on Friday, July 8, 2005. Pallbearers were Glen Banks, Mathew Ricketts, John Jacobs, Robert Ricketts, Vanessa Jacobs and Margaret Rice.

ROWSELL, NINA
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nina Rowsell announces her passing at Springdale, NL on July 5, 2005 at the age of 77. Predeceased by parents E. J. and Gladys Winsor; sister Sylvia Winsor and daughter Linda Rowsell, January 2005. Left with fond and loving memories are husband, Thomas; sons, Bill of Gander, NL; Jeff of Elk Island Park, AB. Also leaving to mourn grandsons, Justin Rowsell and Jamie Rowsell; brothers, Austin Winsor of Springdale and Richard Winsor of Corner Brook, NL and a large circle of friends and relatives. Rev. Raymond Clouter conducted the funeral service from the United Church, Rattling Brook, NL on July 8, 2005. Interment was at the United Cemetery, Rattling Brook, NL. Pallbearers were Elmo Taylor, Cyril Vey, Melvin Manuel, Byron Pelley, Don Taylor and Shawn Winsor.

RANDELL, DOROTHY MABEL
LA SCIE

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy Mabel Randell, age 91, announce her passing at the BVPHC, Baie Verte on Wednesday, July 6, 2005. Predeceased by husband Simon; parents Robert and Violet Hollett and daughter Violet. Left with fond and loving memories are son Warrick (Donna), La Scie; granddaughters Jennifer Randell and Lori Randell (Justin Giles) both of La Scie, Leeann Matthews (Steve), Harbour Round; great grandchildren Brandi-Lee Randell, Brady Matthews, Josh Matthews, Dawson Giles and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. William Ranson conducted the funeral service at Zion United Church, La Scie on Friday, July 8, 2005. Interment followed at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Baie Verte. Pallbearers were Kenneth Rice, Dennis Toms, Carl Rice, Albert Randell, David Osmond and Aubrey Randell.

MITCHELL, CAROLINE "CARRIE"
WOODSTOCK

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Caroline "Carrie" Mitchell, age 88, announce her passing at the BVPHC, Baie Verte on Friday, July 8, 2005. Predeceased by husband Peter Mitchell; parents George and Esther Decker; son Herbert Mitchell; daughter Hilda Grigsby; step-daughter Blanche Regular; grandson Nathan Regular; granddaughter Della Mitchell; sister Alfreda Mitchell and brother Chesley Decker. Left with fond and loving memories are children George (Bertha), Daniel's Hr., Sheila Simms (Alphonse), Melvie Bussey (Harold), Yvonne Bussey (Valance), Chesley Mitchell (Ella), Reginald Mitchell (Jessie), Mackenzie Mitchell (Marion), Bernice Regular (Pleman Randell), Judy Bussey (Albert), Pearce Mitchell (Maxine), Rex Mitchell (Gloria), Flossie Taylor (Norman) all of Woodstock; step-sons Woodrow Mitchell (Lillian), Woodstock, Ralph Mitchell (Violet), Harry's Hr.; 68 grandchildren; 114 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; brother Sterling Decker; brothers-in-law Roland Mitchell, Harry Mitchell (Joan) and Dawe Mitchell (Mildred); many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Captains David and Wavey Chaulk conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church and Cemetery, Woodstock on Monday, July 11, 2005. Pallbearers were George Mitchell, Chesley Mitchell, Reginald Mitchell, Mackenzie Mitchell, Pearce Mitchell and Rex Mitchell.

TAYLOR DERRICK LEVI
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Derrick Levi Taylor announces his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale, NL on July 18, 2005 at the age of 67. Derrick was a member if the Springdale Lions Club and retired from logging in 1997. Predeceased by parents, Angus and Fanny (Coles) Taylor. Left with fond and loving memories are loving wife, Ruth ; brothers, Otto (Daisy) of Bay Roberts, NL; Ford (Trudy) of Springdale, NL; Baxter (Mary) of Conception Bay, NL; Angus jr. of Winnipeg, Man; sisters, Malviny Young (Roy) of Beachside, NL; Ruby Taylor (Hammond) of St. John's, NL; Viletta Robinson of Springdale, NL; Rhonda Stuckless (Bill) of Twillingate, NL; Mitchie Rich (Wayne) of New Waterford, NS; Helen Hustins (Neil) of Springdale, NL; Roxanne Miller (Barry) of Thompson, Man. Also leaving to mourn brothers in law, Steadman Jenkins, Ralph Coombs and Milton Thompson and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Majors Gerald Lacey and Lindsay Oxford conducted the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Springdale, NL on July 20, 2005.  Pallbearers were, Terry Rolfe, Melvin Manuel, Terry Rideout, Rick Goudie, Berkley Coish and Kenneth Ghaney.

RYAN, PERCY AMBROSE
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Percy Ambrose Ryan announces his passing at the Green Bay Health Centre in Springdale on July 23, 2005 at the age of 73. Percy Ryan was a member of the Pentecostal Word of Life Tabernacle, Robert's Arm and retired from years of service with Gid Sacrey Ltd. Predeceased by parents, Edmund and Florence Ryan and six siblings. Left with fond and loving memories are loving wife, Beulah; sons, Dale Ryan (Pamela), Flin Flon, Man; Kirk Ryan (Brenda), Marathon, ON; daughters, Janice Heath (Angus) of Manitouwadge, ON; Glenda Gail (Brian), Robert's Arm; Robyn Lussier (Andrew), Winnipeg, MB; Trena Roberts (Tim), Manitouadge, ON. Also leaving to mourn one brother three sisters and twelve grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Pastor Wayne Noble conducted the funeral service from the Word of Life Tabernacle Roberts Arm on July 26, 2005. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Roberts Arm.. Pallbearers were, Dale Ryan (son), Kirk Ryan (son), Braden Gail (grandson), Carl Paddock (cousin), Ivan Wiseman (friend), Doug Winsor (friend).
