PINSENT, LEONA VIVIAN
1948-2011

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leona Vivian Pinsent announces her passing at the Green Bay Health Centre in Springdale on January 2, 2011 at the age of 62. Leona was a member of the Miles Cove Pentecostal Church. Predeceased by parents, Harland and Daisy Taylor; sister, Marjorie; brother, Calvin; sister, Genetta; brother-in-law, Emilien and sister-in-law, Grace. Left with fond and moving memories is her husband of 37 years, Lloyd; son Gregory (Kimberly) and grandson Austin in Kitchener, Ontario. Also leaving to mourn sisters - Olive, Rosie (Gordon), Alma (Ivan), Maisie (Hubert), Ada (Don); brothers - Cyril, Clayton (Elsie), Bruce (Vera), Ford (Trudy), Dawson (Ruth), Derrick (Brenda); sister-in-law Gloria, brother-in-law Freeman (Jean) and a large circle of relatives and friends. Pastor Ben Brown conducted the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church in Miles Cove on January 5, 2011. Interment was at the Miles Cove Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers were her brothers - Clayton, Bruce, Fred, Dawson, Derrick and son Gregory. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

FUDGE, BERTHA IRENE
It is with sadness that the family of the late Bertha Fudge, Brighton, announce her passing on January 4, 2011, at the age of 87. Born on March 24, 1923 to Fanny and Arthur Winsor, she married Gordon Fudge of Brighton in 1941. They enjoyed a loving relationship and together raised 5 children. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband Gordon (2008); 3 children Dorman, Norma & Jimmie; brothers Otto & Earl; sister Hilda; grandson Danny Fudge. She leaves to mourn: daughters Major Lorraine Fudge, Sheila (Ben) Barrett, Christine (Samuel) Hawkins; sons Otto (Cynthia), Gerald (Loretta); 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and a large circle of other family and friends. The funeral service was held on January 6 at Salvation Army Citadel, Triton-Brighton Corps, with Majors Larry & Phyllis Fudge officiating. Interment followed at the Brighton Community Cemetery. Pallbearers were Otto, Gerald, and Woodrow Fudge, Ben Barrett, Sam Hawkins, Bill Wells. Donations may be made in her memory to the Brighton Community Cemetery Fund. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gail Noel of Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale. She will be dearly missed by her family.

BARKER, (ROBERTS) CATHERINE KATHLEEN
Baie Verte, NL

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Catherine Kathleen Barker (Roberts), age 84, announce her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Tuesday, January 4, 2011. Predeceased by her first husband - Ronald Saunders; second husband - Peter Barker; third husband - James Roberts; daughter - Frances Furey; son-in-law - Rick Shears; parents - Leo & Elizabeth Domalain; siblings - Jack Domalain, Aloysius Domalain, Michael Domalain, Bride Saunders, Theresa Howell & Philomena Tulk. Left with fond and loving memories are her children - Mildred Shears, Corner Brook, NL, Phil Conway (Bob), Corner Brook, NL, Faustina Ford (Bob), Baie Verte, NL, Michael Barker (Janeth), Tumbler Ridge, BC, Eugene Barker (Kate), Tumbler Ridge, BC, Leo Barker (Beverly), Dartmouth, NS, Bertha Bath (Philip), Sparwood, BC, Aiden Barker (Cheryl), Fort St. John, BC; son-in-law - Ned Furey; and the Roberts family; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Father Joseph Tebsis conducted the funeral mass at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church & Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL on Saturday, January 8, 2011. Pallbearers were sons - Michael Barker, Leo Barker, Eugene Barker & Aiden Barker; grandsons - Michael Barker & Joey Barker and the crossbearer was daughter - Bertha Bath. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wimbleton's Funeral Home, Baie Verte.

OSMOND, JUNE ELIZABETH
1941-2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late June Osmond announces her passing at the Green Bay Health Care Centre in Springdale on January 8, 2011 at the age of 69. Predeceased by parents, Cecil & Julia Childs; brothers, Clyde and Russell Childs; and son-in-law, Ronald Lee. Left with fond and loving memories is her husband Harold Osmond; sons: Lorne of Ontario, Quinton of Ontario, Keith of Pilley's Island, Deon (Karissa) of Grand Falls-Windsor; daughters: Carmen (Chris), Ursel (Allen), Ula (Leroy), Katie (Clarence) and Valerie (Terry). Also leaving to mourn 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 5 sisters and 1 sister-in-law as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Majors Marvin and Vera Youden conducted the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Pilley's Island on January 11, 2011. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Clarence Payne, Ben Callahan, Leroy Laing, Michael Laing, Allen Simms and Ronald Simmons. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.

RIDEOUT, HERBERT C.
Passed peacefully away at Captain William Jackman Memorial Hospital on January 8, 2011. He was predeceased by his: parents - George and Annie Rideout; brothers - Augustus (Beatrice - sister-in-law), Fred (Sophia - sister-in-law), Alfred (Marie - sister-in-law), Abraham, Gordon, Willis; Glenn Winsor - brother-in-law; sister - Theresa Seymour (Joe - brother-in-law). Leaving to mourn wife Lydia Rideout, son Junior (Stacey), daughter Louise (Paul) and grandson Noah. Sister - Evelyn Winson and sisters-in-law Bernice Rideout and Laura Rideout. Also a circle of friends and relatives. The funeral service was held at the Salvation Army Citadel in Labrador City on Jan. 11, 2011. Officiating clergy were Captains Tim and Laura Jenkins. Funeral services were entrusted by Penney's Funeral Home, Labrador City.

KELLY, HAROLD FELIX
1951-2010

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Felix Kelly announces his passing at the Central Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on January 10, 2011 at the age of 59. Predeceased by parents, Florence & Albert Kelly; brothers, Ricky Kelly and Calvin Kelly and grandson, Baby Nate Randy Baxter Harold Kelly. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife of 31 years, Roslie; sons: Randy (Betty-Lynn) and Rodney (Hilary); granddaughter, "Pop's Woman" Rihanna Janet Rose Kelly. Also leaving to mourn sisters: Wavey, Stella (Mike), Madaline (Ammon); brothers: Larry (Darlene), Barry (Roxanne), Earland (Daisy), Victor (Ruby), Terry (Louise) and Lester (Alma); mother-in-law, Georgina Sheppard and the Sheppard family. Pastor Dave Mercer conducted the funeral service from the United Church in Sheppardville on January 13, 2011. Interment was at the United Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy Kelly, Rodney Kelly, Larry Kelly, Terry Kelly, Earland Kelly, Barry Kelly, Victor Kelly and Wayne Pilgrim. HEWLETT, WESLEY ROBERT
1925-2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wesley Robert Hewlett announces his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on January 14, 2011 at the age of 85. Wesley was a member of the Beaumont United Church. Wesley retired from fishing. Predeceased by parents, Warrick & Catherine Hewlett; sister, Stella and grandsons, Cruz and Roy. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife, Bronwen; son, Hubert; stepson, Clyde (Linda); daughters: Goldie (Steve), Beverly (Melvin); stepdaughters: Fern (Milton) and Marjorie (Wilbert). Also leaving to mourn, sisters: Linda & Jessie; grandchildren: Krista, Lloyd, Norma & Hilary; great-grandchildren: Robbie, Sarah, Anna & Lila, nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends. EARLE, BETTY
1935-2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Betty Earle announces her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on January 20, 2011 at the age of 75. Betty retired from Banking. Predeceased by husband, Hughie Earle; parents, Bertram & Rowena Inder; brothers: Steadman, Chesley and Bill and sister, Lorraine Lacey. Left with fond and loving memories are her sons: Kurt (Judy) of Glovertown and Ted (Marilyn) of Springdale; stepson Eddie (Karen) of Springdale; daughters June (Paul) of Triton and Lynn of Thompson, Manitoba. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren: Christopher, Christina, Stephen, Jason, Tim, Justin, Mike, Jana and Krista; great grandchildren: Nicolas and Tori and brother, Jim (June) Inder. Hazel was a faithful member of the Salvation Army Church and the Home League. Predeceased by her parents, Harry & Faith Randell. Left with fond and loving memories is her husband, Maxwell; children: Melvin (Gail), Trudy, Peter (Cheryl), Loretta (Dean), Maverick, Morris (Amber) and Michael (Anna). 1933-2011

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Karl Adolf Meyer announces his passing at his home in Little Bay on January 24, 2011 at the age of 77. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife, Marjorie Simms; children: Lorraine (Peter Campbell), Dale (Paul Vardy) and Keith (Dana Luff); grandchildren: Adam, Kyle, Lucas, Sarah and Anna; two sisters, Elizabeth and Hannah as well as a large circle of family and friends. Catherine Gutjahr conducted the funeral service from the United Church in Springdale on January 28, 2011. Interment was at the United Cemetery in Little Bay. Pallbearers were Adam Vardy, Peter Campbell, Kyle Campbell, Shawn Winsor, Clyde Simms and Denise Simms. 2010-2011
It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Dennis Rowsell announces his passing at the Janeway Hospital in St. John's on January 26, 2011 at the age of 8 ½ months. Predeceased by grandfather, David Rowsell and great grandfathers, Edward Rowsell and Fred Perry. Left with fond and loving memories is his parents, Gary Rowsell and Brittany Perry. Also leaving to mourn grandmothers, Linda Rowsell (Stan) and Lisa Osmond; grandfather, Hayward Perry; Aunt Sarah, Aunt Natasha; great grandparents, Valma & Judson King, Steadman & Phyllis Rice and Georgina Perry as well as large circle of relatives and friends.
