announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale
on Jan. 6, 2009 at the age of 83. Edward was
a member of the Pentecostal Church in Springdale. Predeceased
by wife – Doris Geraldine Penney. Left with fond and loving
memories are his son, Bruce (Eileen) of Springdale and grandson,
Warren T. Penney. Pastor Howard Head conducted the service
at Central Funeral Homes on Jan. 9, 2009. Interment was at

Samuel LeDrew announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland

daughters, Jillian of Oakville, Ontario and Iris Pynn (Baxter)

MCQUIGGAN, WINNIE M.
(Retired University of Toronto – Library Administrator)
Died peacefully on Wed., January 21, 2009 at
Toronto Western Hospital in her 97th year, Winnie
M. McQuiggan, much beloved wife of the late Kenneth
McQuiggan (1999). Winnie was born in Boot Harbour, Newfoundland
on March 19, 1912 to Willis and Lydia (nee Ledrew) Wiseman. She
is survived by her sister, Hazel Halloway and Doris Andrews.
Loving aunt of Joan, John and David and to her great-nieces and
great-nephews. Predeceased by her sister, Nellie Simms; her brother,
Berkley Wiseman and by her nephew, Sam Andrews. In accordance
with Aunt Winnie's wishes there will be a private family gathering
to remember her. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial
gifts to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Grace Wells announce her passing at the Valley Vista
Seniors Home in Springdale on Jan. 23, 2009 at
the age of 88. Grace was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Predeceased by husband, David Wells, daughter, Irene Baker; and
sons, Clifford Wells and Simon Wells. Left with fond and loving

Clarence Wells (Shirley) of Grand Falls-Windsor, John Wells (Ellen)

the age of 91. Mary was a member of the Maranatha Pentecostal
Church. Predeceased by husband – Raymond Simms. Left with fond
and loving memories are: her sons – George (Elizabeth) of Ottawa,
Edward (Rose) of Red Sucker Lake, and Howard (Patricia, deceased)
of Triton; daughter – Lily Strickland (Arthur, deceased) of Robert's

of 83. Lovelett was a member of the Pentecostal Church of South

and Maud Grant; two brothers and four sisters. Left with fond

Yellowknife and daughters – Fay Moyle (Ray) of Squamish, B.C.,

Selby Rowsell announce his passing at his home in Springdale
on January 29, 2009 at the age of 69. Sandy
was a member of the Springdale Pentecostal Church. Sandy retired
from Iron Ore Company of Canada, Labrador City. Predeceased by
his mother – Olive Rowsell and grandparents – Warrick and Naomi
Rowsell and Pleman and Fanny Hewlett. Left with fond and loving

Labrador City, Shawn Blake of Labrador City and foster daughter
