COLES, SAMUEL LEWIS
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Samuel L. Coles announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Hospital, Grand Falls, NL on January 1, 2006 at the age of 69 years. Samuel was a member of the Salvation Army Church. Predeceased by his parents John and Jemima Coles; brothers Hayward, Silas and Jasper; sisters Josephine, Eva and Lulu. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Dollis Coles; daughters Charlotte of Toronto, Ont. Josephine (Arthur) of South Brook, NL. Eva (Clarence) of Triton, NL. Also leaving to mourn brothers Garfield (Deb), Roland (Christine) sisters Blanche, Edith (Cyril), Hazel, Geraldine, Ettie (Lawrence), Myrtle (Willie) 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends.  Capt. Edward Cannings conducted the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church, South Brook on January 6, 2006. Interment was at the United Cemetery, South Brook. Pallbearers were Archie Morey, Shannon Barrett, David Anstey, Gerald Thomas, Don Higdon and Kenneth Budgell

SNOW, LESTER WILSON
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lester Wilson Snow announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Center, Springdale, NL on January 5, 2006at the age of 65 years. Lester retired from mining due to illness in 1989. Predeceased by his wife, Bernice, father Robert and mother Flossie. Left with fond and loving memories are son Paul of Little Bay, daughter Glennyth of Springdale, Also leaving to mourn brothers Roy (Joan)of Buchans, Brenden (Cora) of Red Lake, Ontario. sisters Linda Ryan of Robert's Arm, Shirley (Maxwell Winsor) of Goose Bay, Phyllis (Dawson Rideout) of King's Point, Georgina (Howard Bath) of Pacquet, Colleen (Albert Dobbin) of Little Bay and a large circle of relatives and friends. Pastor Edwin Rideout and Pastor Howard Head conducted the funeral service at the Springdale Pentecostal Church, Springdale on January 8, 2006. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Springdale, NL. Pallbearers were Paul Snow, Brenden Snow, Roy Snow, Bradley Dobbin, Dawson Rideout, Basil Saunders, Victor Foster and Albert Dobbin.

HUXTER, FLORA
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Flora Huxter announces her passing at the Valley Vista, Springdale, NL on January 6, 2006 at the age of 87 years. Flora was a member of the UCW, LOBA, Jubilee Guild, Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary, Sunday School Teacher, and United Church Organist as well as a volunteer with the Red Cross. Predeceased by her husband, George, son Harold, daughter Shirley, sister, Mae Chappel, 4 brothers Clarence, Harold, Ray & Ira. Left with fond and loving memories are sons, Keith (Madeline), Curling, NL, Curtis (Marion), Edson, Alberta, daughters, Joan (Bruce Yates) of London, Ontario, Sheila (Nelson Brenton) of Little Burnt Bay, NL. Also leaving to mourn sister Mildred Sullivan, Springdale, 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Major Lacey and Rev. Pat Melindy conducted the service at the Salvation Army Church, Springdale January 9, 2006. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery, Springdale, NL. Pallbearers were, grandsons Barry, Lee, Larry, Rick, Lorne and Terry

Locke (nee Wiseman), Joy Kathleen
It is with great sadness that the family of the late K. Joy Locke announce her passing at The Green Bay Health Center, Springdale, NL on January 8, 2006 at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by her husband Malcolm 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Left with fond and loving memories are son Melvin Locke (Helen) of Surrey B.C.; daughters, Marion (Lemuel Jones of Little Bay Islands, Pauline (Gerry Byatt) of McBride, B.C. Also leaving to mourn are 3 sisters, 8 grand children and 7 great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rev. Betty Robbins conducted the funeral service from Central Funeral Homes, Springdale on January 11, 2006. Interment was at the Grace United Cemetery, Springdale. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Myrtus Marie Curtis announces her passing at her home in Springdale, NL on January 13, 2006 at the age of 87 years. Myrtus was a member of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador. Predeceased by her husband Pastor Harvey Curtis. Left with fond and loving memories is her son James (Greta) of Val Caron, Ont; daughters Olive (William) of Cox's Cove, NL. Patricia (Bruce) of Moncton, NB. Elva (Harvey) of Brampton, Ont. Freda of Brampton, Ont. Jean of Toronto, Ont. Marilyn of Springdale, NL. Also leaving to mourn Brother Claude Bath and a large circle of relatives and friends. Pastor H. Paul Foster and Pastor Edwin Rideout conducted the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church, Springdale on January 16, 2006. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Springdale. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pastor Sterling Warr announces his passing at St. Clair's Mercy Hospital in St. John's, NL on January 13, 2006 at the age of 60 years. Pastor Sterling Warr was a member of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Bertha Warr; brother Austin; sister Yvonne. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Verna; son Dean Warr (Charmaine) of Hammonds Plains, N.S. daughter Roxanne Callahan (Oral) of St. John's NL. Also leaving to mourn are his brothers and sister Eileen Jewer, Adollis McDougall, Barbara Meunier, Karen Wilkins, Joan Snow, Faye Warr, Norman Warr, Ron Warr, grandchildren Ryan Warr, James Callahan and a large circle of relatives and friends. Pastor H. Paul Foster and Pastor Clarence Buckle conducted the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church, Springdale on January 17, 2006. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Springdale. Bartlett, Frederick Neal
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frederick Neal Bartlett announces his passing at his home in Rattling Brook, NL on January 14, 2006 at the age of 70 years. Neal was a member of the Jehovah's Witness congregation Grand Falls-Windsor and had retired from farming and carpentry. Predeceased by his parents Fredrick and Beatrice; Brother in law Elmo Rowsell. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Olive; son Larry Bartlett (Angela) of Slave Lake, AB. Daughters Neala (Kenneth Best) of Slave Lake, AB. Christylee (Glen Ivany) of St. John's, NL. Andrea (Patrick McKenna) of Torbay, NL. and special grandson Caelin. Also leaving to mourn are his Sisters Jean Rowsell, Ella Edwards (Eddie) and a large circle of relatives and friends. The funeral service was from the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witness, Grand Falls/Windsor on January 17, 2006. Interment was at the Jehovah's Witness Cemetery, Grand Falls-Windsor. Simms, Reuben William
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Reuben W. Simms announces his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale, NL on January 15, 2006 at the age of 94 years. Reuben was a member of the United Church. Reuben retired from School Bus Driver in 1976. Predeceased by his wife Ivy, father Andrew, mother Carloine, step-mother Sarah,brother James, half brothers Gilbert, Ernest, Fred and half sister Audrey. Left with fond and loving memories is his son Marden (Betty) of Little Bay, NL. Also leaving to mourn sister Lucy Coombs,half brothers Douglas (Audrey Rolls), Harvey (Doris), Freeman (Stella), Scott (Sheila), Neil (Vida), half sisters Gertie Verge (Calvin), Irene Winsor (Ford), Margorie Myers (Karl), Sadie Winsor (Howard), Bernice Mouland (Winston), Ivy Hatcher (Austen), two grandchildren Jeff (Denise), Jamie (Cheryl), three great-grandchildren Taylor, Evan, Eric, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Rev. Betty Robbins Conducted the Funeral Service from the Grace United Church, Springdale on January 18, 2006. Interment was at St. Paul's United Cemetery Little Bay. Pallbearers were Marden Simms, Jeff Simms, Jamie Simms, Scott Simms, Douglas Simms and Allison Locke. 

BUDGELL, CLAUDE JEREMIAH
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Claude Budgell announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Hospital, in Grand Falls- Windsor, NL on January 21, 2006 at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by mother Mary, father William, brother Wilfred, & two sisters Hilda and Beatrice. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Ivy, son Kenneth (Donna) of South Brook, daughters Brenda of Kitchener, Ont. Doreen (Barry) of Springdale, NL and Naomi of Nova Scotia. Also leaving to mourn ten brothers, three sisters,eight grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Pastors Edwin White and George Hilliard Conducted the Funeral Service from the Pentecostal Church, South Brook, on January 24, 2006. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, South Brook. Pallbearers were brothers Arthur Budgell, Gerald Budgell, Sim Budgell, Wesley Budgell, John Budgell, Alfred Budgell and Cecil Budgell.

NOBLE, HAROLD STEWART

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Stewart Noble, age 73, announce his passing at the BVPHC on Friday, January 27, 2006. Predeceased by wife Nina; parents Stewart and Della Noble and brother Roy. Left with fond and loving memories are sons Ted (Joy), Wade (Alice Woodford), all of Nipper's hr; grandchildren Jenny Patey (Jeff), Nipper's Hr, Andrea Austin (Lyndon), Middle Arm, Andy Noble (Joanne), Halifax, NS, Lee Noble, Port Hardy, BC and Riley Woodford, Nipper's Hr; great grandchildren Avery, Landon and Ty Austin and Julian Patey; sister Mildred Wright (Carl), king's Point; brother-in-law Howard Noble (Eileen); sister-in-law Marion Cramm and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Hubert Tucker and Pastor Reg Moulton conducted the funeral service at Nipper's Hr. United Church and Cemetery, Nipper's Hr on Monday, January 30, 2006. Pallbearers were Ted Noble, Wade noble, Ed Wright, Jeffery Patey, Lyndon Austin and Allan Cramm.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilfred Rice, age 73, announce his passing at his residence in Baie Verte on Friday, January 27, 2006. Predeceased by his parents Cyril and Winnie Rice and brother-in-law Sidney Rice. Left with fond and loving memories are brothers Ernest (Carmel Downey), Baie Verte, Gordon Rice, Corner Brook, Pleman (Lora), Labrador, Albert (Joan), Seal Cove and Bart (Linda Hurley), Baie Verte; sisters Neta, Seal Cove and Joan (Edmond Banks), Baie Verte; sister-in-law Ella Rice (Carmen Morrison), Baie Verte; many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. David Russell conducted the funeral service at St. Paul 's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Baie Verte on Monday, January 30, 2006. Pallbearers were Wade Rice, Terry Miller, Bill Drover, Carmen Morrison, Jim Gavin and Alonzo Dwyer.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Manuel Clarence Gray, age 61, announce his passing at his residence in Shoe Cove on Friday, January 27, 2006. Predeceased by mother-in-law Ruby Martin, sister-in-law Emma Butt and nephew Roger Foster.
