CRITCH, SADIE D.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sadie D. Critch announce her passing at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor on January 2, 2005 at the age of 54. Sadie was a member of the Salvation Army. Predeceased by her father Adolphus Heath; daughter Janice and brother Wilson. Left with fond and loving memories are husband Roy; son Michael, Springdale; daughter Wendy, Springdale. Also leaving to mourn her mother Irene Heath; granddaughter Shari-Lee; brother Freeman and sisters Phyllis and Bettylou. Majors Gary and Glenys Butt conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church and Cemetery, Springdale on January 5, 2005. Pallbearers were Gerald Daley, Clive Khan, Melvin Manuel, Harry Oxford, Randy Smith and Wilson Weir.

RYAN, HUGHIE P. Sr.
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hughie P. Ryan Sr. announce his passing at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor on January 3, 2005 at the age of 85. Hughie was a member of Merchant Marine (WWII Veteran), Men's Fellowship, Orange Lodge, 50 plus Club and the Salvation Army. Predeceased by parents Mark and Susanna; five brothers Fred, Bernard, Ronald, Jim and Frank and one sister Geneva. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Clementine; sons Junior, Toronto, ON, Wayne, Robert's Arm, Barry (Peggy), Chetwynd, BC and Doyle (Linda), Ajax, ON; daughters Maxine (Lewis Barrie), Whitby, ON, Joan (Samuel Fowlow), St. John's, Yvonne (Richard Bennett), Robert's Arm, Norma, Robert's Arm, Carol-Ann (Aubrey Goulding), Robert's Arm and Jacqueline (Paul Rideout), Whitby, ON. Also leaving to mourn 23 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother Donald (Pearl) and sisters Myrtle and Edith. Capts. Edward and Rose Canning conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Church and Cemetery on January 6, 2005. Pallbearers were Dion Fowlow, Sean Fowlow, Brandon Goulding, Otto Ryan, Robert Ryan and Roy Hewlett.

MILLS, JAMES GRANT
It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Grant Mills, age 76, announce his passing at the BVPHC, Baie Verte on Tuesday, January 4, 2005. Predeceased by parents John and Elsie Mills; parents-in-law William and Elizabeth Cooper and sister Minnie Strong. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Marion; son John (Tracey Comeau) all of Seal Cove; daughter Betty Mills (Danny Redway), North York, On; granddaughters Jodi, Jennifer and Jillian Mills; stepson Lloyd Cooper (Susan Villineuve), Twillingate; brother William Mills (Lydia), Stephenville; sisters Myrtle Bath (Roland), Baie Verte, Edna Dove (Roy), Twillingate; many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Capts. Paul and Michelle Blake conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Christ Community Church on Thursday, January 6, 2005. Pallbearers were Lyle Rice, Victor Rice, Wilson Burton, Steve Burton, Pratt Sacrey and Gord Greenham.

ROBERTS, REGINALD RALPH
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Reginald Ralph Roberts announce his passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre, Botwood on January 7, 2005 at the age of 73. Reginald was a member of the Pentecostal Church and had retired from logging and associated work. Predeceased by parents Hedley and Mable Roberts; brother Ford and granddaughter Suzette Ryan. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Bride; sons Albert (Della), Triton, Hank (Charlene), Triton and Lee (Robi-lynn), Thompson, MB; daughters Edna Ryan (Ewen), Leaf Rapids, MB, Nancy Watkins (Mervin), Triton, Pauline Farrell (Ignatius), Labrador City, Debbie Sisodiya (Hemat), Mantouwadge) On and Carolyn Carey (Paul), Mantouwadge, ON. Also leaving to mourn Sylvia (Eugene Bridger), Ross (Beryl), Claude (Marion), Clifford (Joan); 11 grand children and one great grandchild. Pastor Glen Chaulk conducted the funeral service at Maranatha Pentecostal Church, Triton on January 9, 2005. Interment was at the Interfaith Cemetery, Triton. Pallbearers were son Albert Roberts; grandson Christopher Roberts; bothers Claude Roberts and Clifford Roberts; sons-in-law Ewan Ryan and Mervin Watkins.

LOCKE, FREDERICK (WILLIS)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Willis Locke announce his passing at the St. Claires Mercy Hospital, St. John's on January 9, 2005 at the age of 65. Predeceased by parents Percy and Irene and brother Cecil. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Violet; son Billy, Laval, Que.; daughter Beverly (Kirk Oxford), Little Bay Islands. Also leaving to mourn granddaughters Brittany and Brianna and a very large circle of other relatives and friends. Capt. W. Hayward conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel, Little Bay Islands. Interment was at the Interfaith Cemetery, Little Bay Islands. Pallbearers were Cyril Oxford, Mike Roberts,Claude Weir, Dennis Grimes, Richard Roberts, Roy Roberts, Clarey Roberts, Ray Flynn and Brenton Roberts

ANTHONY, GERALD CHARLES
Passed away January 13, 2005, Gerald Charles Anthony at the CNRHC. He was 67 years old. Predeceased by parents William and Jane; brothers Harold, Bruce, Edward, Sandy, Eric, Boyce and Robert. Left to mourn are wife Mary; son Perry (Selina), Robert's Arm; daughter Marice (Ken Jenkins), Steady Brook. Also leaving to mourn sisters Mildred Parsons, Ruth (Fred) Colbourne, Bernice (Lorne) Strickland; brothers Dawson (Grace), Jack (Salome) and Scott; six grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Minister Barbara Noble conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church, Robert's Arm on Sunday, January 16, 2005. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Neil Mercer, Donald Sweeney, William Simms, John Ryan, Roy Hewlett and James Osmond.

LUSH, AMELIA ANNIE MAE
Passed away January 21, 2005 after a lengthy illness Amelia Annie Mae Lush at the Valley Vista Complex, Springdale, at the age of 83. Amelia was a member of the Salvation Army Home League, Triton Predeceased by husband Willis. Left to mourn are sons Wilfred (Ruth), Wilson (Shirley), Alvin (Golda), Leonard Christine), Cyril (Louise), Wayne (Janice) and Barry (Ruth) all of Triton; daughters Judy (Ryan), Knight's Cove and Joy (Hayward Strickland), Pilley's Island. Also leaving to mourn sister Lulu Forsey, Deer Lake; brother Eric Roberts, Triton; 25 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Major Rex and Darlene Colbourne conducted the funeral service at he Salvation Army Citadel, Triton on Tuesday, January 25, 2005. Interment was at the Triton Community Cemetery. pallbearers were grandsons Seanne and Justin Heath, Grant Lush, Cody Lush. Tyrone Lush and Theo Lush.
