WINSOR, MARJORIE ELIZABETH
TRITON

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marjorie Elizabeth Winsor, age 76, announce her passing at the Valley Vista Senior Citizens Home, Springdale on January 3, 2002 Predeceased by her husband Joshua and twin babies. Left with fond and loving memories are: sons- Lloyd, Pilley's Island, Wycliffe (Beverley), Labrador City and Kenneth, Fort McMurray, AB; daughters - Bernice (Ford Heath), Oromocto, NB, Betty (Melvin Matthews), Triton, Velma (Steven Drown), Stratford, ON and Merle (Roy Fudge), Wabush; sister Audrey Fudge of Ontario; brothers Gordon, Frank and Woodrow Fudge; 15 grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Captains Rex and Darlene Colbourne conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel, Triton on Sunday, January 6, 2002. Interment was at the Triton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Albert, Francis and Oliver Hendstridge, Winston Woodford, Gilbert Roberts and Lawrence Budgell.

BOONE, MARGUERITE LILLIAN
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marguerite Lillian Boone, age 54, announce her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre on Friday, January 4, 2002 Predeceased by her parents Ralph and Lily Belle Randell; brother Rayfield; sister Edith Robinson and parents-in-law William and Ivy Boone. Left to forever cherish their wonderful memories are her husband Bert; daughter Heather Boone-Martin (Robert), Labrador City; son Chad (Jody Coffin), Fernie. BC; sisters Marion Cramm (William), Baie Verte, Helen Lush (Ross), Stephenville and Una Starkes (Pleman), Sparwood, BC; brother Hayward (Doris), Sparwood; brother-in-law Maxwell Robinson, Baie Verte and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Marilyn Avery conducted the funeral service at the Bethany United Church and Cemetery, Baie Verte on Sunday, January 6, 2002. Pallbearers were Roy Barker, Gerald Aceman, Leo Kennedy, Don Seymour, Dave Fudge and Gary Norman

WINSOR, FRANCIS LEIGHTON
KING'S POINT

Passed away January 5, 2002 at the Springdale Hospital, Francis Leighton Winsor of King's Point at age 90. Left to mourn are: wife Charlotte Winsor; sisters Bernice Rideout, Marie Chipp, Blanche Short and Mona Dawe and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Lodge conducted the funeral services at the United Church, King's Point on Tuesday, January 8, 2002. interment was at the King's Point Interfaith Cemetery. Pallbearers were Guy Bartlett, Guy Stoodley, Calvin McKay, Henry Andrews, Harry Adams and Rex Pelley.

MITCHELL, LYDIA MAUDE
MIDDLE ARM

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lydia Maude Mitchell, age 80, announce her passing at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte on Sunday, January 13, 2002. Predeceased by her husband William and daughter Alma. Left with fond and loving memories are: son Scott (Verna), Middle Arm; daughters Lily, Pacquet, Ruby (Basil), Middle Arm, Violet, Hinton, AB, Joyce (Harold), Cap-pele, NB, Gloria (Frank), North York, ON and Sally (Charlie), Middle Arm. Also leaving to mourn are: brothers David Noble (Louise), Middle Arm and George Noble (Nada), St. John's; 26 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Leighton Foster conducted the funeral service at Bayview Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Middle Arm on Tuesday, January 15, 2002. Pallbearers were Dane Tilley, Jimmy Eastman, Rex England, Vincent England, Scott Milley and Chris Milley

BLACKLER, IDA ALFREDA
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ida Alfreda Blackler announce her passing at the Springdale Hospital on January 21, 2002 at the age of 64. Ida was a member of the Pentecostal Church. She retired from Valley Vista Senior Citizen's Complex. Predeceased by her father Fred Ryan and brothers Carl, Orvin and Absalum. Left with fond and loving memories are: her husband Joseph E. Blackler; mother Meta Ryan; sons Wayne (Kim), Mackenzie, BC; Keith (Judy), Springdale, Rex (Cynthia), Waterloo, ON and Brian, Fort McMurray, AB; daughters Joy (Steve), Corner Brook, Karen (Mark), Mackenzie. BC, Kathy, Prince George, BC, Loretta (Derek), Marathon, ON and Jo-anne (Clayton), Mackenzie, BC. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren Michael, Sean, Nathan, Stephanie, Chad, Shauna, Kerri, Matthew, Jamie-Lee, Kristofer, Ryan, Robbie, Joey, Kyle, Nikita and Danielle; great-grandchildren Melissa and Cody; brothers Roland, Mac, Bob, Freeman, Frank, Landon and Walter and sisters Stella, Alma, Bessie, Mary, Cluda, Tamer, Joy and Wavey. Pastor Rideout conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church on January 24, 2002. Interment was at the pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wayne, Keith, Rex and Brian (her sons).

HURLEY, LYDIA MAE
WESTPORT

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lydia Mae Hurley, age 77, announce her passing at the BVPHC, Baie Verte on Tuesday, January 22, 2002. Predeceased by her husband William, grandson Terry and brother Clarence. Left with fond and loving memories are: sons Leslie (Mildred), Beaumont and William Jr. (Ruth), Westport; daughters Rita Curtis (Nish Paul), Grand Falls-Windsor, Eileen Harrold (Alex), Westport, Pheobe Burton (Ronald), Goulds, Sylvia Gale (Alex), Milltown, Margaret Ricketts (Donald) and Cindy Goodyear (Harris) both of Cold Lake, AB. Also leaving to mourn: brothers Arthur (Effie), Charlie, Tom (Myrtle), Garland (Jessie) and Melvin (Eileen); sisters mary, Eloise (Tom) and Rhoda (Harry); 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Sandra Voelker-Wack conducted the funeral service at St. Peter's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Westport on Friday, January 25, 2002. Pallbearers were: grandsons Nicholas Gale, Michael Ricketts, Lance Goodyear, Steven Burton, Matthew Hurley and Mark Hurley.

ROBERTS, GERALD HEDLEY
TRITON

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald Hedley Roberts, age 64, announce his passing at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor on January 26, 2002. Mr. Roberts retired from fishing in 1999. Predeceased by his parents George and Emma Roberts. Left with fond and loving memories are: his wife Leona; sons Allan (Geraldine), Corvin (June), Kevin (Kathi), Tobbie (Sharon) all of Triton and Ted (Linda), Bay Roberts; daughter Denise (Trevor), Triton; sisters Ethel Henstridge, Badger and Hazel Rolph, Pasadena; brothers Arthur, Alex, Harvey, Roland, David, Howard and Dawson; 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Captains Rex and Darlene Colbourne conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel, Triton on Tuesday, January 29, 2002. Interment was at the Triton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Arthur, Alex, Harvey, Perry, David, Howard and Dawson Roberts.

RICHE, EDWIN
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edwin Riche announce his passing at the Springdale Hospital on January 27, 2002 at the age of 64. Edwin was a member of the Pentecostal Church and was a member of the Steelworkers (Local 5795), Labrador City. He retired from the Iron Ore Company of Canada on May 1, 1995. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Ethel Riche and brother Arthur Riche. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Margaret and sons Brent (Nichole), Labrador City and Nicholas, Labrador City. Also leaving to mourn are; sister Ruth (Dan Chaisson); brother Frank (Lillian) and grandson Nathan. Pastor Rideout conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church on January 30, 2002. interment was at the pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tim Burton, Bruce Newbury, Wilbert Price, Cecil Young, Kevin Oxford and Ron Peters.

NORMAN, LLEWELLYN (KENNY)
passed away January 27, 2002 after a lengthy illness Llewellyn (Kenny) Norman at the BVPHC, Baie Verte. He was 79 years old. Mr. Norman retired from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre in 1981 and was a member of the Loyal Orange Lodge. Predeceased by: his parents James and Minnie Norman; brothers Sidney, Edgar, Reg and Eric and sister Daphne Milley. Left to mourn are his wife Ella (Andrews); sons Llewellyn Jr. (Kay), St. John's and Gary (Jenny), Baie Verte; daughters Marilyn (Don Pardy), Mount Pearl and Minnie (Gus Roberts), Baie Verte. Also leaving to mourn; sister Adelaide Dean, Botwood; brothers Tom and Nun Norman, Ontario; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Marion Avery conducted the funeral service at Bethany United Church, Baie Verte on Tuesday, January 29, 2002. Interment was at Bethany United Church cemetery. Pallbearers were members of McDonald Loyal Orange Lodge.

CURRAN, WILLIAM (DOC)
ST. PATRICK'S

It is with great sadness that the family of the late William (Doc) Curran announce his passing at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor on January 29, 2002 at the age of 56. Doc was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired from marine construction. Predeceased by his father William M. Curran. Left with fond and loving memories are: his loving wife Amy; son Paul (Natasha), Mount Pearl; daughters Michelle (Collin), Burnt Islands, Cindy, Little Bay and Connie (Jeremy), Winnipeg. Also leaving to mourn are: his mother Mary; sister Maude; brother John and three granddaughters Laura, Julia and Carrina. Father Morris conducted the funeral service at the R. C. Church on February 1, 2002. Interment was at the R. C. Cemetery, St. Patrick's. Pallbearers were Paul Curren, Bill Dormondy, Rick Curren, Richard Power, Len Jewer and Gerald Pelley.

VINCENT, CELIA W.
TRITON

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Celia W. Vincent announce her passing at the Valley Vista, Springdale on January 30, 2002 at the age of 95. Celia was a member of Maranatha Pentecostal Tabernacle, Triton. Predeceased by her husband William Pearce, October 29, 1968. Left with fond and loving memories are: sons Garland (Joyce), Triton and David (Rhoda), Triton; daughters Lilly, Corner Brook, Vera (Eric), Triton, Ethel (Herman), Triton and Frances (Harold), Triton. Also leaving to mourn: 33 grandchildren; 69 great grandchildren, 30 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends. Pastors Glen and Enid Chaulk and Pastors David and Kristy Collins conducted the funeral service at the Maranatha Pentecostal Church on February 3, 2002. Interment was at the Triton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Clayton Vincent, Clayton Roberts, Tom Roberts, Sandra Colbourn, Dorthy Young and Carl-Ann Moores.

BOWERS, EDWARD
KING'S POINT

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Bowers announce his passing on January 30, 2002 at the age of 55. He was a member of the King's Point Pentecostal Church. Predeceased by father George Bowers; mother Sophia Ryan and daughter Dawn Bowers. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Marion; sons Jeff, King's Point, Paul (Bonnie), King's Point, Sheldon (Monique), King's Point and Stephen (Sarah), King's Point; daughters Patsy, King's Point, Iona (Andre), Lloydminister, AB, Sharon (Brian), Lloydminister, AB, Debbie (Jason), Thompson, MB and Tracy (Milton), King's Point. Also leaving to mourn are sisters Margaret Collins and Velma Burton and grandchildren Jasmine, Jonah, Jagger, Zachary, Dillon, Keisha and Kiara. Pastor Head conducted the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church on February 3, 2002. Interment was at the King's Point Interfaith Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeff Bowers, Paul Bowers, Sheldon Bowers, Stephen Bowers, Andre Rodrique and Milton Saunders.

SHINER, CLIFFORD ALLAN
SMITH'S HARBOUR

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clifford Allan Shiner, age 74, announce his passing at the Valley Vista Senior's Complex on Thursday, January 31, 2002. Predeceased by his first wife Greta; son Losson; parents Harris and Clara and grandchildren Boyd and Betty. Left to forever cherish their wonderful memories are: wife Blanche; sons Rodman (Helen), Cyril (Ivy) and Tony (Roxanne) all of Smith's Harbour; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Bruce Mills conducted the funeral service at Bethel Pentecostal Church, Smith's Harbour on Sunday, February 3, 2002. Interment followed at Bayview United Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rodman Shiner, Cyril Shiner, Tony Shiner, Wesley Matthews, John Matthews and Wally Shiner.
