MOREY-REID, Emily Beatrice -
Passed away Jan. 14, 2000, peacefully Emily Beatrice Morey-Reid at Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor. Age 87 years. Predeceased by husbands, Titus Morey and George Reid and two daughters. Left to mourn are sons; Peter (Millicent) of St. John's, Cyril (Evelina) of Roberts Arm, Hubert(Pearl) of Brampton, On, Adolphus(Vera) of Port Anson, Harvey (Velma) of Shoe Cove, Freeman (Myra) of Shoe Cove, Samuel (Emma) of Lab. City, Roy (June) of Port Anson and Guy (Sheila) of Lewisporte; daughters- Effie (Cecil Hayden) of Badger, Velma (Lloyd Burton) of Port Anson, Shirley (David Rowsell) of Port Anson. Also leaving to mourn sisters Josephine McKay, Ivy Chappel, and Whelemina Morey; brothers Cecil, Ambrose and Henry Short; 37 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor D. Purchase conducted the funeral service at Redemption Pentecostal Church, Port Anson on Monday, Jan. 17, 2000 with interment at the church cemetery.

EVELIEGH, Eleanor Maxine -
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eleanor Maxine Eveleigh, age 49, announce her passing on Jan. 15, 2000 which occurred at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor. She was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Mae Eveleigh and her brother Edward. Left with fond and loving memories are her companion of 14 years Nelson Burton and her daughter Uena Lewis(Scott) of London, ON. Also leaving to mourn sisters Minnie Nash(Walter), Edna MacLean(Al), Jessie Musseau(Alex); brothers Hedley(Shirley), Leamon (Sue), Albert(Marion); sister-in-law Melvina Eveleigh as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. Captain Brian Thomas conducted the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel, Seal Cove with interment following at the church cemetery.
