Burton, Frank
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frank Burton announce his passing at the Valley Vista in Springdale on February 8, 2006 at the age of 77. Frank was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Lushes bight. Predeceased by father Eli Burton, and mother Mary Burton. Left with fond and loving memories are Joan, son Boyce of Beaumont, daughters Madonna (Tim) of Winnipeg, MB, Nancy (Keith) of Springdale, Marjorie (Ronald) of Springdale, Dale (Neil) of Springdale, Tonya (Stephen) Pierceland, AB. Also leaving to mourn Elijah Burton (St. Bride), Grace Regular (Baie Verte), Margaret Sacrey (Springdale), stepbrother Allan Simms (Pilleys Island, Step sister Shirley Norman (Pacquet), 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, along with a large circle of relatives and friends. Pastor K. Noseworthy conducted the funerals service from the Pentecostal Church in Lushes Bight on February 11, 2006 Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Lushes Bight. Pallbearers were Boyce Burton, Jeremy Wiseman, Jerry Wiseman, Andy Penney, Jennifer Penney, Norma Young.

Roberts, Roger W
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roger Walter Roberts announces his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale, NL on February 12, 2006 at the age of 92 years. Roger was a member of the Salvation Army Citadel, Triton, NL., he also retired from fishing in 1985. Predeceased by brothers Stafford and Pleaman Roberts; sons, Melvin and Sterling. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Clara; sons Ambrose (Joy) of Triton, NL., Aubrey (Jean) of Triton, NL., Dennis (Debbie) of Triton, NL., Barry of Triton, NL., and Todd of Triton, NL. Also leaving to mourn brother, Gordon (Nellie) of Triton, NL.; sisters, Olive (John) of Corner Brook, NL., Maisie (Bob) of Triton, NL., Jeanette of Triton, NL., and Ivy of Toronto, Ont.; fifteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Majors Rex and Darlene Colbourne conducted the Funeral Service from the Salvation Army Citadel, Triton on February 15, 2006. Interment was at the Interfaith Cemetery, Triton. Pallbearers were Peter Roberts, Roger Roberts, Richard Roberts, Jake Roberts, Anthony Roberts and David Butt

Morey, Marie Myrtle (nee Burton)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie Myrtle Morey announces her passing at the Central Newfoundland Hospital, in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on February 20, 2006 at the age of 78 years. Marie was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church, South Brook. Predeceased by husband, Emanuel George Morey; parents Elias and Dulcie Burton and daughter Dulcie. Left with fond and loving memories are her sons Elias (Cathy) of South Brook, NL., Harold (Rose) of South Brook, NL., Silas (Loretta) of South Brook, NL., Paul (Pauline) of South Brook, NL., Archie (Donna) of South Brook, NL., Goldwin (Wanda) of South Brook, NL., Rodney (Bernetta) of South Brook, NL; daughters Marjorie Dicks (Allan) of South Brook, NL., Thelma Kerr (Robert) of Thompson, Man., Justina Hollett (Ernest) of King's Point, NL., Mamie Hopkins (Roger) of South Brook, NL. Also leaving to mourn brothers, Ted and Hughie Burton; sister Mamie Burton; thirty-five grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Pastor George Hilliard conducted the Funeral Service from the Calvary Pentecostal Church, South Brook, on February 24, 2006. Interment was at the Pentecostal Cemetery, South Brook. Pallbearers were Andy Morey, Ross Dicks, Christopher Hopkins, Robert Hopkins, Harold Morey Jr., Sara Morey, Richard Morey and Paul Morey Jr.

Payne, Arthur Edward
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arthur Edward Payne, age 69, announce his passing at the CNRHC, Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday, February 25, 2006. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Alma Payne. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 50 years, Pearl; children Jim (Ann Anderson), St. John's, Flo Ryan (Greg), Ignace, ON, Eddie (Audrey), Elkford, BC, Ray (Valda), Baie Verte, Mike (Wendy Vey), Corner Brook; grandchildren Kaya Payne, Jody Woods (Jodey), Jennifer and Craig Ryan, Melanie Payne, Amy Payne (Joe Smith), Lisa Payne Christa and Kyle Payne; great grandchildren Dillon, Keenan, and Reegan Woods; Evan and Taylor Smuin; siblings Joyce Smith, Cambridge, ON, Evelyn Warr (Bruce) Robert's Arm, Frances Pittman (Bruce), Badger, June Paddock (Roy), Harold Payne (Darlene) all of Robert's Arm; sisters-in-law Winine Morey (Charlie), Lily Reid (Claude) all of Miles Cove, Ruth Reid (Selb), Kitchener, ON; brother-in-law Ray Martin (Shirley), Prescott, ON; a large number of nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. George Stockley conducted the funeral service at Bethany United Church and Cemetery, Baie Verte on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 Pallbearers were Jim, Eddie, Ray and Mike Payne, Greg Ryan and Wish Ford.
